  1. Why is it a week later than the usual third round weekend? I’ve looked online but can’t see a reasoning.
  2. Just Rev being Rev, this is a fella that never rated John Williams.
  3. End of the day this forum isn’t exactly the most forgiving when it comes to the ability of players, the fact that this place pretty much (I.e one exception) to a man think Tronstsdt’s been an excellent addition, means he’s been an excellent addition. Not for the first time our Rev’s gone well off beam.
  4. One of these days they’ll actually get someone in there that understands stock management and order enough kits to last, you know, the season, be novel, wouldn’t it.
  5. City fan, ain’t he.
  6. No pot of money left? Sell then.
  7. The Walkers really were a disgrace.
  8. Christmas tradition (just like running out in August too).
  9. One of the best feelings of a football fan, we just don’t bother. Bit like winning penalties.
  10. So it’s £35-£40 for a Sky game when everybody’s skint just after Christmas and new year. They don’t have a clue and/or don’t give a fuck about attracting a crowd. One day we’ll be shut of them, just Christ knows when.
  11. Liverpool, Villa? I thought Rovers’ rightful place is the lower leagues?
  12. So that means he’s a poor player? I would say JDT deciding to stop bothering with a midfield and throwing everyone forward every time we had the ball might just have left him a tad exposed in the centre of the park as we hurtled down the league.
  13. Their fans did knock a Christmas tree over once in the Postal Order.
  14. Good old Rev, once he gets an opinion that’s that! Tronstadt has rarely had a poor game since the day he arrived.
  15. David Batty was top class in 93/94, alas injury and then the first to leave the post title sinking ship meant we never really saw enough of him
  16. ‘Meet at Spiral at 12 and we’ll go and get a pint of sarsaparilla’
  17. You’d say it has to be someone on the phone getting the wrong end of the stick or the club actually is barring anybody who hasn’t been to a game in 2024 going to the season’s biggest fixture. Been travelling? Tough! Been ill? Tough! Though it does sound ridiculous enough to be true.
  18. Yep, whilst in this league it is very simple, make them cheaper, that’s it. There is absolutely no other way for us to sell substantially more than 9/10k. Bolton have proved you don’t need ‘flexi tickets’. Make them cheap and if you fancied one but know you’ll miss a few (I.e night games) you’ll probably get one anyway… however price them between £350 and £550, you won’t.
  19. I’d imagine it’s largely the ideas of Miller and the WATR committee, as I’m sure I’ve remembered him posting those ideas on here in the past (and in the WATR Prospectus from last year).
  20. Ah, jobs for the boys, that explains it.
  21. Well he’s just as bad then.
  22. All relative, imagine the difference a Jason Roberts would make to this team.
  23. Starstruck owners again. Also see the fella at Plymouth.
  24. Sorry, what. So a Rovers fan can’t get a ticket to a game that will have c10,000 empty seats? A game by its very nature that will attract fans that only go now and again. Once again, the club are actively trying to discourage attendance. What on earth is going on down there. @K-Hod @only2garners
