He's been brilliant for years for England, that over could happen to anyone in T20, Livingston should have taken the catch. I guess NZ owed us one.....class acts not taking a run when blocking Rashid getting to the ball.

If you wanted to get sections of the fanbase back onside you'd go all out to embrace the past, go overboard and that doesn't only extend to putting a bedraggled Colin Hendry in the away shirt. You're breaking no FFP rules by bringing legends back to the club, its a blank canvas for me, but nobody at the club has the vison, nobody at the club seems to care, its just a job. We have billionaire brothers that have offices within a few miles of the ground, the sponsorship potential is off the scale, does anyone at the club even know they exist? I'm digressing but you get the picture, its not all about mid table championship mediocrity, so much more could be and should be being done.

Martin Moxon, director of cricket at Yorkshire, is absent from work due to a stress related illness, we all wish him well I’m sure. Andrew Gale, Yorkshire first team coach, suspended pending investigation into historic tweet. What a shambles.

The Mrs tells me it’s brilliant, pity she was 2 seasons in before telling me 🙄

You are aware that this path is well trodden, investigations have been carried out, documents presented to governing bodies by posters from this very site, stonewalled, no other word for it. From the points highlighted above, you clearly have faith in the owners, despite everything that has gone before, despite the financial taps obviously having been tuned off, despite losing £140m, despite knocking 10,000 off the gate and I could go on. Those who fail to learn from history are destined to repeat it.

All very admirable, I would question where you've been for the last 11yrs 1864, but I wish you all the best, you're going to need it. Ps - The training ground has been sold once, can't be sold again unless to developers, if you find out whats next, give us the heads up please. Cheers.

The owners couldn't care less, thats why they keep repeating the same old mistakes. Where is the incentive to get the wage bill down? They've had 11yrs to get that under control? But it doesn't fit with the operating model of turning over players so the pigs for the agencies to get the snouts in the trough. Some think it was a good thing we dismantled the Allardyce side and threw the likes of captain Ryan Nelson on the scrap heap and the brilliant Michel Salgodo, it was about time we got the wage bill under control right? But hang on a minute, aren't we still losing millions season after season due to wages being out of the control? Eureka moment? probably not.....Its all Mowbrays fault......

You've just given us the answer 1864.. Having read your posts over the past few months, like many down at Ewood these days, you wouldn't have been able to contain yourself with that news bursting to get out, yet not a peep, which tells its own story. I'm not having a go at you, I really do hope you or someone else can make a difference, but this road is well trodden, billionaire owners don't listen to Joe public, they're above that. You're having a laugh right? The Premiership couldn't wait to get us out of that league so they didn't have to deal with it. Look at the Saudi takeover at Newcastle, nothing to see here, other than ££££££££.

You were fully aware of the training ground being removed from the clubs books?
-
In terms of the proof being in the pudding and future meetings, you’ve fallen at the first hurdle 1864, they’ve transferred the training ground to a bogus company and you knew nothing about it. I’m not attacking you, I’m just point out they’re already keeping you in the dark and for me that’s unacceptable.
-
Now we're £140m in debt with many 1st team players out of contract. Bad advice?
-
-
They were just badly advised IraC, they've learnt the lesson now I'm sure. Have contracts for our well established squad team players been signed yet? Or are we looking at cheap players with inflated commissions to fill those gaps 😤

If only Carlsberg did Blackburn Rovers managerial recruitment Mike.
-
If that’s the conclusion you’ve come to from reading my posts on Mowbray, I’ll draw you a picture next time. Its your mates in Pune that are the problem, you don’t want to hear it, they’ll never come good despite your cheerleading.
-
I agree with you. You also need to factor in they’ll only deal with certain agencies and the pool of candidates reduces even further. What a way to run a football club.
-
I hope it’s not going to be that long until the Pune 3 sod off🙏
-
I've never read anyone claim Mowbrays a managerial guru Wheelton, I'm off the opinion that we will continue to fail regardless of the who the manager is, 10yrs proves that point. If that offends anyone, I couldn't care less to be honest.
-
I didn't attend the Fulham game no, but lets not pretend we've not had bad results over the years, embarrassing results too, I've been at most of them. When those goals went in yesterday it was a superb feeling, coming from 0-1 down, the best I've felt for a long time I can tell you. Look at the joy on the faces in Blackburn End when Brereton scored in the link chaddy posted, priceless, absolutely priceless.

We’ve had 8 managers in 10yrs, it’s a strategy that clearly works….. I won’t call anyone a fool, it’s all a matter of opinion, but as I keep saying, changing managers won’t change our current situation for the better, but equally I wouldn’t lose any sleep over the club sacking Mowbray. It’s all about the long game for me, that’s getting rid of these inept and incompetent owners.
-
Well it’s only been 10yrs hasn’t it, let’s give them another 10 just to be sure, they deserve it.
-
We've take 9 points from the last 12 Rev, just for the record, but carry on.
-
My apologies, I wasn’t aware of the full context. Who is getting sacked?
-
I was once part of a group conversation with John Williams about Benny McCarthy and his attempts to force a move to Chelsea, this is nothing new Matty.

I was talking to a Boro fan last night who was delighted Warnock had been sacked, his comment: "You can only blame the referee and linesman so many times before that excuse starts to wear thin, he took no responsibility for poor results and his football was appalling" On Mowbray he was gushing with praise for the most part but he did say that he'd definitely lost the plot towards the end of his time managing the club, playing players out of position and strange formations, sounds familiar I told him. He told a story about a supporters Q&A where a young lad around 10/12yrs old asked Mowbray why he wasn't playing xxxx player and Mowbray explained he was a good player but didn't fit the formation, the lad was gutted. After the event was over Mowbray spent 30 minutes with the salt and pepper pots explain the formation and why xxxx didn't fit in, which I thought was a great story, a nice touch. "Would you have him back" I asked "If we want to get back into the Premiership he's not the man" He thinks Wilder will get the job.
