Even allowing for 1 shared brain cell in Pune, thats a stretch Mercer, regardless of whether or not you or anyone else believes Neil was approached earlier this year.

India are the number 1 test side in the world at the moment in my opinion and after 5 days of enthralling cricket they just came out on top. Some indifferent batting today, some superb bowling by the Indians, we move to Old Trafford to save the series. Test match cricket at its best for me, the lifeblood of the game, thoroughly enthralling from start to finish.

They've always gambled on strikers and won mostly if taken in isolation, Armstrong alone paid for Gallagher and Ben Diaz, but they neglect every other part of running a football club. Why did every striking target go to another club in the last window? Why are we unable to offer contracts to player we want to keep? Why have we just sacked the European scout? Why did we try and sell half the training ground? Does it sound like a club with a few quid in the bank? I just hope it some sort of exit strategy and the Pune stooges are about to exit the club.

I've long given over caring who the manager and CEO are, but I did have a particular dislike of Coyle who told porkies in his very 1st press conference about SEM and it never improved from the day on, that man was robbing a living. I don't think its any coincidence he's now managing in the Indian Super League either..... Coyle was appointed because he was cheap, cheaper than Warnock who won promotion with Cardiff the year after I think it was. First of all, let me make it clear that racism in any form is abhorrent and should be called out and the culprits dealt with, without question. Here comes the but....... ITV on Wednesday night were a disgrace in my opinion, they couldn't wait to report on acts of racism, even cutting to Gabriel Clarks at one point on his mobile phone sat with the home fans to tell us again that the fans were being racist. We know Hungary has a history of racism, we know the national side has had problems with racism, we don't need ITV spending the entire 2nd half banging on about it whilst England answered in the right manner by stuffing them. I hope they're sanctioned, again, and hit hard, but ITV you're a disgrace, I'll not be watching next time.

I agree with many of your posts 1864 but this isn't a Waggot thing at all. Shaw and Agnew attacked the fans very publicly, Singh embarrassed the club, the town and its fans, Waggot is just another example of poor recruitment, like the manager and agents that have pillaged the club over the past 10yrs. You replace Mowbray and Waggot, you get another Mowbray and another Waggot, we need the owners removing, everything else is a side show.

Posters on this very site have been crying out for defenders for the past 4yrs+, finally Mowbray has addressed that issue and hopefully we are now well covered in that area with better quality that we've had for a while, time will tell of course. We sold Armstrong yes, we already have 2 £5m strikers of the books, its time for them to step up and be counted, so far they are doing. Even with 29 goals a season Armstrong we were a million miles away from the promotion places, the club is a mid-table, neglected and now skint, Championship club, we are in no hurry to find the next Armstrong, its been a decent window under the circumstances, mid table here we come. Venkys out - Nothing improves until they leave the club.

I’d take anything right now to get rid of Venkys, our situation gets no better until they are gone. Hearts have recently been taken over fans, after bonkers owners tried to run the club into the ground, it’s the way we need to go, or we have no future. Good luck to Bury.
