No wonder you don't see as many hedgehogs as you used to, 11yrs has really taken its toll on the population.
-
Venkys have an excellent track record of making quality appointments, what could possibly go wrong? Its a very real concern for many fans.

I was speaking to a Utd fan yesterday complaining about Solskjaer, out of his depth, tactically inept, poor in front of the media, wouldn't have got the job if he hadn't been a player, you get my drift. He then went on to say that he'd like to see Solskjaer sacked and Steve Bruce back as manager, I almost fell of the chair....... He then went on to say he'd steady the ship, keep them competitive, keep them honest until someone better comes along, a bit like Mowbray at your place. Everyone knows Venkys are the problem, until they leave you'll never do anything, Mowbray is a steady hand, he'll keep you competitive in the Championship, you'll not end up in league 1 with him in charge. He has a point in my opinion. Just on Gareth Ainsworth, I want him nowhere near this football club until Venkys leave. Manging this football club under these owners will destroy his local lad reputation in 6 months. Its tough to manage your home town team in good circumstances, but under Venkys he'll be ripped apart.

The manager hasn't improved and the squad is worse than last seasons. The budgets have been cut, thats obvious, we couldn't even buy average journeymen in the summer and the contract situations are unprecedented in my 50yrs of watching the club. We sacked the European scout and haven't replaced him. As I understand it season ticket sales are down, walk ups are down too. The ticketing system was knackered at the start of the season, the live stream coverage was broke also. The club shop was closed the weekend before the season started just as we'd launched the new shirt. The grounds a mess, the beers flat and pies are stale, now the clock at the Darwen ends broke. Sponsors have tried in vein to give the club money for this seasons campaign and nobody returns the calls. Thats just off the top of my head.

The clubs a mid table championship side at best whilst Venkys remain in charge. Once you get used to that fact our situation becomes easier to accept. A shout out to the superb support tonight at a wet Loftus Road, hero’s every one if you, safe journey home.

1-2 Rovers

Absolutely Matty. Sounds like the owners are being badly advised again to me, will they ever learn?
-
I think you're probably right ojf, but you need match winners in Australia, players that play without fear and Livingston fits that bill. Our batting has been shambolic for the most part for the past few years, I'd have loved England to have tried something different, but its the same old tried and tested failures leading the line, Root aside and thats just not good enough for me. On the plus side I'll get more sleep, not staying up till lunch and catching the last 10 over every day!

That won't be the case if Venkys sod off matt, we'll rise as a town, a club and a fanbase, I'm certain of that. -

Coventry back from the dead, had to play games at St Andrews for a season, tomorrow backed by 4000 fans at Ewood, tremendous following, a club galvanised by adversity. Don't let anyone tell you we need these charlatans from Pune, actually we need them to sod off before we can move forward, its as simple as that. Rovers 2 Coventry 1 Venkys out -
Big mistake not taking Mahmood and Parkinson, also Livingston for that matter. 5-0 whitewash unless the rain comes, then at least we might draw one.....

What are you listening to right now?

We recorded Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park from 1981 - Just watched the full concert, absolute genius, takes your stresses away, just brilliant. -
Just caught up with the fight, I’m sat here stunned to be honest. I’ve been watching boxing since 70’s that is without doubt in the top 5 fights I’ve ever seen, superb stuff. Credit to Wilder, he looked shot after 3 rounds and managed to survive, but the better man won, it should never have gone to a 3rd fight, but I’m glad it did. Fury has won me over, I don’t mind admitting it, so much so If he fights over in Vegas again I think I'll be on the plane. Clearly some of his comments and antics in his early career were born out of mental health issues, hopefully he’s over that now and hes bringing those belts back to Lancashire.

How about 10th in the Premiership to League 1 in 5 easy steps under these owners. I’ll assume that is actually the worst run in your lifetime CNC?
-
To be fair he stood aside at Coventry I believe matt, not many modern day managers do that, they usually wait for the pay off.
-
We all do the best for our bank balance Matt, don’t we?
-
The worst run in our history? Don’t talk daft….
-
Why do you believe Mowbray to be a liar with no morals? I believe him to be past his sell by date, working for mad owners, but I think he’s a decent guy.
-
It’s probably to do with the new price reductions to get fans back into the ground. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2021/october/06/new-ticketing-initiatives-introduced-/ Sheff Utd game - £14.60 all seats for our 146th year - Who the hell thought of that bollox? Who celebrates 146yrs? Make it £10 a seat and stop the amateurish nonsense.
