  1. Judge - How much can you afford to pay Borrower - Please see my income and expenditure form Judge - The borrower can afford to pay a cheque for £5.34 and half a tube of toothpaste Lender - Ok then the law states I cannot claim more than the borrow can realistically afford to pay No need for a solicitor at £50 an hour and taking 5% of the total debt as commission for dealing with the lender! You do the maths
  2. I have nothing to do with debt or debt collectors, solicitors or IVA's, but simply you ignore your creditors and they come after you, you ring them and offer to pay they don’t, why pay thousands to a solicitor to make that call? Lack of knowledge or madness?
  3. Well thats his first mistake taking out an IVA! Why pay a bleedin solicitor to talk to his creditors, they charge thousands for the privilege, when he can ring them himself and cut out the leach? Sad state of affairs indeed.
  4. Yes my feelings exactly, his departure from Ewood left a bad taste in the mouth and his business dealings left a number of people in the mire. Tragic. Wanted to be closer to his parents was the official reason if memory serves me correctly, then found himself back in England not to long after...
  5. Thats not what people said though is it bryan
  6. That would look great on a banner Plastic Head
  7. If they sacked him or he just walked, then maybe he'll be able to talk about it, golden handshake then he won't.
  8. It would be extremely useful for someone to try and get an interview with John Jensen. Whilst I doubt he'll bad mouth anyone, it would give us all some indication as to why he's left the club and an insight, if we need one, into the inner workings of the club currently. Are Venkys telling porkies again?
  9. I have to agree Matty, not sure why Jensen has gone yet, but if he has gone as a result of the 'recent' run of bad form , then the owners have not learnt a thing in the past 12 months.
  10. I think people need to calm down a bit until the full picture comes out, has anyone stopped to think about why Jensen has left? Could be personal reasons that have caused this, could be legal reasons, could be all manner of things not related to Steve Kean whatsoever.
  11. By tits I'd imagine he's talking about Sullivan and Gold.
  12. now thats funny Gordon Cannot tell you how bad that was, it was like having a curry years back, very poor indeed
  13. I got a takeway from the Indian in Feniscowles last night mainly because it was convinient, and I have to say it’s the worst Indian takeway I’ve think I’ve ever had. My guts are killing, the food was full of oil and the Dahl tasted ****. This used to be good when it was Feniscowles Tandoori, but give the place a wide birth. Off to the toilet, again
  14. Couldn't agree more pal, the Greek islands are fantastic, not been to a bad one yet.
  15. I went a couple of years back and really enjoyed it. Passed the place so many times, had give it a try, and wasn't disappointed, Debs had Bangladeshi fish which was really nice, well cooked and full of flavour. Must go back. I recommend you try Crete instead We had the mango salad last time we visited, fantastic.
  16. Very similar to Algheros, loyal following possibly by people who don't know any better. That said I've never had a bad meal there, but get what you mean about the clientele/bulls head crowd. Bukharra is a cut above, very good, but I need a beer with my curry, so often end up in Darwen, tend to go to the Akash these days after years at the Anaz. I bet that was nice Colin, may take a trip over myself with the old dear, Debs
  17. Couldn't agree more Preston blue, we try it once a year also in the hope its improved, but it never does. Pinocchio’s in Walton le dale isn't bad, recently refurbished with some interesting dishes on the menu.
  18. The salt and pepper squid at Great Village is the best I tasted anywhere, but I still tend to make my way to The Man Lee in Darwen (not the place with the raw chicken by the way) been going for years and love it. Pizza - don't buy it Curry - Trishna Bolton Rd Kebab - Godfather fish n chips - HollyTree, but Oyster and Otter may take over that when I try the shellfish n chips.
  19. It was one in Drawen, I've since given up going because they served me raw chicken about a month ago. How about yours vintage? I got a bit bored with the menu a while back, but the food is always first class as far as I'm concerned.
  20. Never been Tom, but I did read they scored terrible on the food hygene page above, then again my fav takeaway did a couple of years ago but I still carried on going
  21. Went to Mangiamos in Darwen recently, half price pizza and pasta every Tuesday and Wednesday when you buy a starter, avoid the beer and wine and two people can walk away full for under £20. Its certainly not San Carlos standard, buts its much better than Algheros for me. Was told about the food hygiene standards yesterday and anyone who visits Borrocos in Edgerton should take a look before the next visit
  22. Plenty of competition around the area pal, so it will have to be good to attract the custom. Its on the list.
