Gallagher is a very good player, does the hard yards, we miss him when he doesn’t play. Yes he could score more goals, but managers keep picking him, I wonder why?

Test match cricket has always been about not losing rather than winning, its ingrained into the fabric of the game across the globe. I'm surprised its taken this long for a new approach to the game, but I'm delighted its England leading the way as den says above. The only problem moving forward, you have to get into a commanding position to adopt this approach and against the Aussies in recent times we've been blown away far to often.

Southgate needs to be kept at all costs, I think he struggles with the pressures of England management, all the outside stuff rather than football related. But we have no outstanding candidates right now, which is another reason to make sure he stays on for me.
