I’m unsure why you’re being so defensive (or if it’s just the wording of your post making it read as defensive) but I’m confident there’s no malice in it, so it might be worth changing your tone to avoid causing unnecessary disruption.

I would assume he wants to know what you’re basing your opinion on so he can work out what level of consideration to give your opinion. It really doesn’t need a question.

Experience a big factor still for me - Ayala knows what it takes to win promotion and play Premier League, that’s invaluable. If I currently had to pick a team for the Playoff Final my back 5 would be Nyambe, Lenihan, Ayala, Wharton, Pickering, despite my above ranking. Essentially Wharton gets in for balance above JVH and Ayala and Lenihan ahead of JVH for experience.

An EFL decision at 12 noon on the day sums them up, there’s not a single thought for the fans. There’s no way anyone should be taking a LFT on the day of the match. They should be submitting test results to the EFL the day before the game and confirmation the game is going ahead at 5pm the day before.

Hull have 17 cases. Why are they doing Lateral Flow tests are 12:30 on the day of a game? It’s a shambles!

There’s absolutely nothing fun about being a bottom 5 Premier League club and nothing at all will make me change my mind. It’s completely mind numbing and it doesn’t surprise me to see Longers falling out of love with it. Making sure you pick up at least a point against rivals because the top 5 or 6 teams cannot be rivalled, simply down to finance and who’s owner is the richest - it’s not for me at all. Give me Championship or even League One footie any day ahead of a 6 nil spanking by a Russian Billionaire’s play thing that’s only involved in football so that Putin can’t kill him easily.
