  1. Dolan obviously has plenty of time in his career to improve and has all the fundamentals to succeed, but we can’t play a full season with him as the player getting the key chances.
  2. If you can’t watch, the match centre on our homepage is working well.
  3. Christ, come on, Chaddy. You either don’t realise you’re doing it or you’re trolling.
  4. Still not saying sorry I see. Actions speak louder than words, Balaji. Not least when I know you haven’t written that.
  5. Yeah the Oxford game. I think the majority feeling at the time would have had them get away with it.
  6. This lot truly are stupid. If they wanted to come over the time to do that was the final game of the League 1 season. I actually think he would have been applauded by the Fans. If he comes over now he’s going to get a rude awakening.
  7. It absolutely does relate to spending money though - because if they ARE aware of the financial issues, they would be able to solve at least some of them without having any effect on FFP whatsoever. “You want to sell the training ground to raise funds? We can’t do that, find us another way in which we can invest without suggesting this.”
  8. Venkys employ one of their own people (Pasha) to keep them aware and informed of what is going on. I don’t care who you are, no CEO in the world can sell a businesses biggest asset without telling the owner of the business. I just can’t buy that. So that just leaves option B - they don’t care, in which case, why bother? At best it’s neglect. At worst it’s corruption. Wherever this sits on a sliding scale between neglect and corruption, the management, board and owners all need to go.
  9. If it was just FFP related cost cutting they could blame COVID or FFP rules. But it’s not. They’re not spending on the things that have no effect on FFP. It’s large scale cut backs across the board whilst trying to raise capital by selling assets, whether that’s strikers or training grounds. Bad news coming I reckon.
  10. I agree with all of us - until that final paragraph. If that is true… Explain why they’re actively trying to sell Brockhall Village Explain why Ewood Park is covered in rust Explain why the ticket shop has 1 member of staff working in it Explain why the Rovers store is understaffed Explain why the club programme has been stopped Because none of these have any effect on FFP and they’re all happening.
  11. Chaps, I know it’s pre-season but we’re not going to do any work on shape, formation, attacking or defending until we know who we’re signing. Once deadline day is over, we’ll start thinking about that.
  12. I’m sure TM is busy putting together a PowerPoint explaining how by buying Arma for 3m and selling him for 18m he’s solely responsible for getting Rovers out of this financial situation… although I bet he’s omitting the fact that he got us here.
  13. I wouldn’t want a young player from a Premiership club that’s unproven at this level. If I’m buying I’m looking for someone who has a minimum 30 professional league appearances and has scored goals. Not bothered too much which league - I’d take League 1 no problems - but for me we can’t afford to gamble on a Idah or Obafemi. If it does have to be one of them, I want a loan with a option to buy.
  14. Ings signs for Villa. In other news I’ve just seen Swag doing 120mph up the A59 heading towards Newcastle. He had a bag in the boot saying “ARMA”.
  15. No - for the sake of it, I’ll paste the conversation below: Heard there will be a new signing this week? And one out. Arma? Team news will make it obvious. Then it became apparent Rothwell wasn’t in the squad for the friendly whilst Armstrong was. So I said Rothwell.
  16. You’re clearly struggling to understand how these things work. I was told by a senior club employee (that I obviously can’t name) that as of Tuesday last week, they where expecting one in and one out by the end of the week. That didn’t materialise, I’d guess that’s because Reach went to WBA. Nobody here knows anything as fact because it’s only official when it’s official, things move all the time. One minute we’re signing Reach and selling Rothwell, the next Reach has signed for WBA so we aren’t signing anyone. I don’t believe Mercer when he’s talking about administration - not because I think he’s totally making it up, but because I can’t personally see it. That doesn’t mean he’s making it up, things change all the time and ‘sources’ are often wrong as well. We welcome people passing on what they’ve been told here. Even if it turns out to be wrong.
  17. Might have been Crooke, skim read twitter!
  18. Crooks confirms that we are either 'on the threshold' or 'breaking' FFP.
  19. I’m sure you’re taking the piss - but yes.
  20. The same Ayala that allegedly sued the Boro medical team for alleged negligence after they allegedly repeatedly told the club that they couldn’t find any reason why he wasn’t fit enough to play football.
  21. We’re not signing anyone, we’re a laughing stock. Here’s a message I received from a good source - It’s horrendous. I’ve never known the club this low…players demanding meetings with him (Waggott)…people running around like headless chickens, no staff…
  22. 7/10 player every week. I rate him, but obviously not as highly as you. I wouldn’t have signed him myself.
