  1. 15/65 points on the calculator - an easy pass. https://www.transferroom.com/gbe?hsLang=en#calculator
  2. You’re all on acid. There’s no way we sign Bowler or Barkley. Stop keep saying their names!
  3. He’s been very clear to the club that he won’t sign a new deal. They know the script, he either stays and plays or goes this window. He doesn’t want go during January because it’s likely he would join a team struggling. From the horses mouth.
  4. Astonished we finish the day without even a rumour. Gonna be a wild Wednesday and Thursday.
  5. Kaminski Carter Ayala Hyam Pickering Travis Wharton Morton Hedges Dack Markanday That’s the team for me. Bench looks weak.
  6. I’m sat here refreshing confused as to how we are 52 hours away from the window closing and don’t have any credible links… I need to remember this.
  7. Puts to bed any nonsense about JDT wanting promotion this year. Finally. I’ll be using this every time someone says it.
  8. As a man? He's honest, he's a tryer, he means well. He's a good man. He's relatable and he understands football culturally. He'll have you finish mid-table and if you're happy, he'll have you finish mid-table for the next few years. If he had left here after 3 years almost everybody would have been delighted with him. ...but he didn't, he stayed too long and out expectations outgrew him. Style of football? Changes seemingly every season. We've had everything - we played very defensive when he took over, we played very attacking in League one, we played possession football with Lewis Holby and Harvey Elliott and we played counter attacking 5-2-3 / 3-4-3 in his final season here. It changed every season, if you ask me it was short-termism. He held on to the same formation for far too long despite obvious flaws and showed loyalty to his favourite players to find a way to get them into the team, resulting in some surreal decisions playing people miles out of position, including the legendary Bradley Johnson playing false 9. Formation? Changed every year with his style of football. But once he settled on one for the season it very rarely changed. Youthful? Well, yes. But often prioritising other teams youth before our own. He has a great relationship with City and Liverpool, meaning we often got their players on loan. Whilst we saw some good players - Elliott, Aderabayo, Harwood Bellis, it was at the detriment to our own players. Mid Table? An absolute shoe in. Don't be surprised if you're in superb form before Christmas/January then there's a huge breakdown called the 'Tony Mowbray Death Spiral' where everything goes wrong, the formation doesn't change and you lose momentum ending up in a mid-table finish. I would be underwhelmed as well. Good luck, rather you than me if I'm honest.
  9. We created plenty of chances second half vs. Stoke. We had the ball in the net twice only for the ref to pull us back and award us a freekick... which was surreal. Jordan would have scored vs. Stoke IMO, I don't doubt it for a second.
  10. I don’t have the full details so won’t because I don’t want to say something wrong. But if it was that simple I’m sure plenty would be at it because of the returns from the premier league. The biggest work around I’ve seen recently is Udinese signing the Watford player for 16M and sending him back to Watford on loan. They’re owned by the same person.
  11. Wolves had a stadium full. Boro have a stadium full and have sold 30M quid worth of players. Hull are in year 1/3 for FFP so can afford to spend. FFP restricts clubs like us. The reason why Venkys don’t do things like repair the stadium is because Waggott spends almost every single penny they give him on the squad. He won’t ask for more money because his sole job is to hit the agreed budget. The ambition starts in the board room and they’re all on easy street.
  12. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if I was a moderator I’d have told me to feck off by now.
  13. You’re actually on page 688, but there’s 20 pages of hidden content for rule breaks.
  14. Not against pulling out of SVB, especially with the emergence of Phillips. Here’s how I see it, in preference order: GK: Kaminski, Pears RB: Brittain, Carter CB: Ayala, Wharton, Hyam, Carter, Phillips LB: Pickering, Edun CM: Travis, Morton, Buckley, Wharton CAM: Dack, Szmordics LW: Hedges, Dolan RW: Markanday ST: Gallagher, Vale I’m assuming Brereton will go. I refuse to let JRC be included as a viable option. Butterworth must leave. Vale only just scrapes in. If the above is correct, we need: First choice Striker First choice Forward / Winger Central Midfielder - not a playmaker, someone with bite Reserve Right Back
  15. United on Phillips, although they usually have a scout at most games.
  16. I’m not sure where you’ve got this from, but it sounds on the website as if we tried for him early and where told no. Then they came back to us last week and said he was now available. So we turned it around in maximum 5 working days.
