  1. thanks for answers. much appreciated. Yes Ive see that on LinkedIn first team and academy scouts
  2. Just done a quick search on Linkedin and find some profiles that say they are scouts for Rovers. John Brown - regional scout Phil Wilson - senior scout Donatella Berardi - Scouting administrator Frank Sharps - recruitment and talent ID operations manager George England - technical Scout Ive uploaded Phil Wilson and George England profiles as they explained what their role is.
  3. on the Rovers official website its says Stuart Harvey is Head of Club Talent Identification & Player Analysis. So its fair to say Phil Wilson is the opposition scout then. do you know how many scouts we got?
  4. well what you didn't say that he didn't take part in the Sheffield United game between Leeds and WBA game? wonder why? myth debunked?
  5. Williams is shite so Bell scores and he get drop? Conway? why drop him complete from the squad? use the Tombola machine?
  6. Raya Bennett Rodwell Mulgrew Bell Reed Evans Armstrong Dack Rothwell Graham subs:- Luetwiler Williams Travis Nyambe Brereton Conway Smallwood
  7. its looking that way. Plenty of bargains out there. How much did Benrahma cost Brentford? signed from Second division in French But we need to make they are the right characters for the team and the team we are building when Mowbray 1st joined us we had Paul Senior who I would imagine was going to run the recruitment side of their club. It would be good if anyone who is going to Mowbray evening event next week talk to him about the scouting network and the work he done improving it and wants to do. When do Tommy Johnson left? how many scouts do we have? and how many would he like? What improvements has Stuart Harvey do since becoming Rovers chief scout to the scouting network? wasn't the Rovers scouting network destroy by Kean and Shebby by using agents? How can you sign Foreign players without any kind of scouting going on before. Also Mowbray has said he gets plenty of phone calls from agents offering foreign players but he is very worried about signing them without proper scouting them. surely this right? don't want to go back to Kean and Shebby days do we? It wouldn't just be one or 2 scouts would it? you probably want at least 1 in the countries he mentioned previous. If I remember correct the countries he mentioned was Belgium, France, Germany and Scandinavian no that was the November/December meeting
  8. No you didn't say majority of the time at all. Sharpe isn't going to upset the club or Mowbray
  9. Yes I did. I picked Reed but Smallwood played better than him on Saturday. So deserve to keep his place. So I see why he was picked ahead.
  10. Time to start playing Brereton more now
  11. Graham is 33 years old and does work his socks off majority of the time. But we shouldn't be relying on him now. Time to give Armstrong or Brereton up front role for some games. I prefer Armstrong wide but I think them 2 would be decent as a front 2. I didn't mind Armstrong upfront with Brereton drifting inside more. His best bits came from that inside position.
  12. The statistics that managers and coaching staff have access to. Most managers have them my team below. where is Graham? on page 1! we played Reading at Wednesday
  13. https://twitter.com/BBCLancsSport/status/1096464854540603392
  14. Boro twitter account tweeted that only 600 tickets were sold on Tuesday/Wednesday. down to number of factors, Tv Coverage, Game on a Sunday and Pulis style of football which some Boro fans don't like
  15. Danny Graham number statistically were down against Bristol City as Mowbray. Like I did say on Saturday he looked Knackered after 75/80 mins. It was clear as day to see.
  16. Transfer wise. Joe Rothwell.. Big Exclusive. Not for many years. Maybe when Souness told they he wouldnt be replacing Ince. National media were linking him and Sam Allardyce to replace Ince
  17. Mowbray on why Graham didnt start Dack was used from the bench, as was Danny Graham, who the manager opted to have as a substitute for the second of three games in a week. “Sunday is a big, big game for us, as all games are, and tonight it was in my mind to rest a 33-year-old Danny with us having three games this week," Mowbray added. “Statistically his numbers were down on Saturday and then to throw him in again and then expect him to go again on Sunday was going to be tough. “The logic was to give him a breather and to sit him on the bench in case we needed him. "
  18. clearly never read and listen to were Mowbray said Jack Rodwell would play when he signed here. Arrogant that. well they didn't. hindsight is such a wonderful thing isn't. Graham being 33 years old now was only going to struggling to play 3 games a week at some point. I see it has the perfect opportunity to play Brereton from the start. Sharpe knows alot IMO but didn't go public with it
  19. Exactly what I said Maybe read what I wrote instead of jumping the gun.
  20. hasn't Mowbray already told you why Rodwell is playing? blimey I cant believe we are still going over this again and again on the messageboard. FFS and yet again going over why Graham and Dack wasn't playing from start. haven't we been told why but yet don't accept them. Graham was shattered on Saturday. very clear to see this. Sharpe tweeted on Wednesday he was surprised Dack played on Saturday due to the injury sustained at Brentford. Mowbray sad after the game Dack only just made the bench on Wednesday. But why keep going the same issues when we have the answer on Rodwell playing centre back and us the fans have no different info on the reasons why Graham and Dack.
  21. I would let Luetwiler go in the summer. sell Williams. ] Yes we need a right back, centre back and left back. Would keep Bell. Use Grayson as 5th choice centre back next season
  22. not at all. But players make mistakes. Rodwell should have show him down the line, players will miss chances doesn't mean the team selection was wrong
  23. William should be sold this summer. I would keep Bell. He has performed much better than Williams. I expect Bauer to come in. Free transfer. squad player I don't see Dack leaving in the summer but if he did I think Mowbray would switch to playing 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. He mention something about going 4-4-2 last Saturday in the LT. unsure on Reed and I think Rodwell will re sign here for me in the summer we need:- 1 keeper to challenge Raya 1 right back 1 left back 1 centre back which I think would be Bauer on a free 1 centre midfielder. We will have Travis, Evans, Davenport, Smallwood. I would like Reed permanent 1 wide player 1 striker to compete with Brereton, Armstrong(who will play wide and up front roles depending on formation) and Graham
