  1. You make a very good point and as long as we properly scouted them and Eustace wants them here no problem. There is some very good talented players in league 1 and 2 who could perform at Championship level and improve our squad Hopefully he does sign a new contract he is on lesser wage All depends on the contract he has been offered and what the medical department says about Leg and whether he can play regular football now(I'm not professional medical trained person). I want him on a low wage with incentive bonus on the number of games he can play. If that can't be done then don't sign him.
  2. Undav has been excellent this season. As for a replacement, I would go for Harvey Knibbs from Reading who can score goals, assists and press from the front, but we need more goals from all areas and goalscorer striker or 2 would help aswell
  3. I wouldn't be surprise if Brighton went for either I can't accept human error when these officials have VAR and still don't make the right decision. Even Klopp has said get rid of VAR cos we don't use it right, fans are fed up with lack of communication within the stadium and how long these decisions take to actual decision. My problem is the level of competence Referees have at Championship level and how they can't make simple and clear decisions. One of the best referee we had at this level was Australian Jarred Gillett now in the PL ref
  4. I agree on Barnes. He was ahead of Phillips in the match day squad until his injury, 2 years later, he needs regular first team football now and He will find a club, wouldn't surprise if someone like Stanley or Morecambe offered his contract and that chance for first team football. I agree with giving McFadzean a new contract. Gives us experience in the squad. On Fleck, shows that Eustace wanted him stay. I hope its a very low wage contract with performance and game time related bonus type of contract cos he hasn't played regular for a season No one for me. They didn't turned up as a squad, they froze on the pitch. Oxford much deserved win I would deffo take Connolly here. Its a free and worth offering him 3 years contract, only 24 years and got 8 goals in 28 games last season Aaron Connolly’s 10 Hull City Goals! (youtube.com)
  5. I wonder if De Zerbi is leaving to take over a club in Italy and that's why he is leaving. No surprised already Brighton have idea who they want like McKenna and Kompany
  6. Yes GB did which shows what GB thinks of owners, Waggott and Pasha, and who wanted rid of him. Plus his role from the first season seems to be reduced in the second season. Just imagine if we would have sign Undav and I'm sure he was the striker we lack for last 3 seasons, we would have made the playoffs for sure. Question is why didn't that happened? not impress with JDT or GB or just didn't want to move up North. Its an area that need to address this summer and Eustace knows this aswell Also last summer budget change didn't help the situation and it caused us problems with who we wanted to sign striker wise I agree with @Paul Manipost he made on Friday night in the transfer thread that Waggott and Pasha decided that they changed personal in the Head coach and DoF roles during the January window. JDT rant post QPR game was when they knew it could done after such a performance and QPR battered us then JDT rant meant his days was numbered. (looking back with hindsight)

  8. Very short and simple statement
  9. Myself and my best friend are waiting for the chance to renew and get it paid off. I can afford the price and this is main social activity nowadays. He is taking his son to games from start of the season and he really enjoyed his first game in Rovers last home game last season
  10. I have hold my hands and admitted I was wrong. Time to move on Alex I don't know. Maybe he got it from Waggott or Rovers, I don't know
  11. I will hold my hands up and say I got it wrong about it being combine £7m. ✋ I done a bit of looking into those 3 players transfers fees and I have found their reported fees from 3 sources Brittain's transfer fee was in excess of £1m Barnsley FC transfer latest: Callum Brittain completes his move to Blackburn Rovers for fee in excess of £1m (yorkshirepost.co.uk) Szmodics's transfers fee was initial £1.8m plus add ons . Source is Peterborough United Chairman comments Darragh MacAnthony reveals fee Blackburn Rovers paid for Sam Szmodics | Lancashire Telegraph Hyam's transfer fee was £1.5m Revealed: Coventry City's Dom Hyam replacement and how Brexit wrecked transfer - CoventryLive (coventrytelegraph.net) So its around £4.5m we spent. My original point still we spend money only 2 summers cos we generated money the previous season. Even if we we only spent that we can still make cash transfer signings. I think we will at least(my own opinion) make 2 or 3 cash transfer signings, 2 free transfers and 2 or 3 loans transfers. back to this again, drop me a DM with if you want to complain about me or my opinion
  12. Elliott Jackson has reporting this during is Q and A session yesterday.
  13. We can assume it if the head coach rates the player and will use them. I would still back up full back or a player who can 2 or 3 positions. We cant reinvest cos we bring in revenue into the club from commercial side of the club, non football match day revenue, etc. The owners just paid off the annual season debt. This coming season they don't need to so I think we get some investment like 2 seasons ago On the India, supposedly Venkys can sent money over and match it in a bond to Indian government The squad need about 7 signings to it. All 3 deals were undisclosed fess so we don't every detail like transfers fees, add ons, etc Excellent at Maths 99. Got an excellent grade in GCSE and excellent at finances and budgets
  14. When we sign Szmodics, Brittain and Hyam. 2 years ago.
  15. Have you Duru or Gent play? Why is £7m is unrealistic?. How many signings do we need? Positions aswell please?
  16. I agree mainly British based signings or players who have played in UK before. I would look at League 1 for couple of players like Harvey Knibbs. Deffo need a goalscorer striker and Number 1 keeper signings plus right winger
  17. I think even for that money you can 5 quality players plus look a couple of quality loans.. The main areas we need to strengthen for me are goalscorer striker, right winger and Keeper plus a back up right back, another striker, centre back, and replacement for Szmodics if he does leave. I would ask Villa for Chrisene back for another season loan. In centre midfield I think we look strong in there with Tronstad, JRC, Buckley, Travis and Garrett.
  18. not good that season tickets aren't on sale
  19. I have very little interested in the Euro's apart from watching England. I expect my interest will get more when they get closer. On England squad, my 26 man squad would be Keeper - Pickford, Ramsdale, Henderson Defenders - Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Tripper, Tomori, Guehi, James Midfielders - Rice, Bellingham, Alexander-Arnold, Mainoo, Maddison, Gallagher Strikers - Kane, Foden, Saka, Grealish, Palmer, Bowen, Gordon, Watkins, Wilson
  20. I think we will have money to spend on Transfer budget its won't above £7m in my opinion. shame on him. Look a very good young player when coming through the youth day but 2 bad injuries have put pay to that. Hopefully finds a good club where he can play regular football
  21. I can't myself but I am sure someone with a legal background can. I don't expect GB speaking out on Rovers negative,
  22. one of the question asked how the match day atmosphere and I said lowering the match day prices and get more fans on board
  23. Elliott Jackson says GB leaving announcement hold up be legal side of him leaving
