  1. blimey, you won't let it drop with you? I have said what my opinion based on everything we know and past failures. If you disagree fine but we that's opinions in football
  2. I think Morton has been good loan signing overall but I think his recent form has been poor. I think 4 signings have been very good/good signings whilst Thomas has been ok and others 2 poor.
  3. Broughton came out to face the media and took the blame whilst In my opinion its wasn't him to blame but others to blame. This isn't the first time that paperwork has been failed to send on time from certain people posts on here. We do player medicals at Manchester City training facility hence why Broughton and O'Brien was there in Manchester. They weren't out partying in Manchester or at all you eat Chinese buffet. Broughton isn't in charge of the footballing paperwork as he can't sign it off only Waggott and Silvester can sign the EFL paperwork. Yes its a point time and time before and that the reason why the buck stop with them
  4. It is vital important that we keep JDT here. He has improved this team and club massively this season. Yes we have had some poor results but we have been in the top 6/playoff place all season which majority of fans didn't expect this season. Rovers must bring in the quality signings JDT wants even if it on free and loan markets
  5. I will leave it there cos we won't agree
  6. none of know for sure. pointless speculation IMO. More important for me is we have no problems like in the summer transfer window
  7. Leeds seriously impressed by 'next Bielsa' who has stayed under the radar (footballinsider247.com)
  8. are they under the same owners as when Lambert, McCarthy and Cook were there as now under McKenna?
  9. of course its relevant we have a deal agreed twice during the January transfer window before Undav pulled out and Lorient decided to cancel the loan deal cos they sold another striker. We all said Broughton should have sign a striker in the window as we all said including myself.
  10. fair enough. Football is a game of opinions of course it is relevant as you can see why a deal didn't happen and what the background was. your first comment is wrong cos we did a striker who just didn't well enough for us. Yes we failed to bring in striker which we all said wasn't acceptance
  11. I said just after the transfer window closes that GB was at fault for not being in striker during the window, but transfers aren't so simple tho GB isn't responsible for the paperwork side of the transfers that is Silvester and his staff to sort out. That's his job Why would it be down to Broughton?
  12. What do Ipswich fans say about their boss Kieran McKenna?
  13. league 1 is just crazy that 3rd place Sheffield Wednesday aren't going up with at least 93 points. Stanley are as good as relegated after defeat to Cambridge who take it to the last day with Morecambe and MK Dons
  14. it is very simple what we need to do. That was point
  15. Hirst look a good choice given his form the previous season and again he is the main striker for Ipswich who just got Promoted. I never said total faith anyway in my post did I but I said I still had the same amount of faith in GB to deliver what we need this summer regardless of the past experiences. The blame shouldn't be aimed at Broughton but the admin department down to personal opinion. I don't agree that GB failed with Undav as it was out of control. Problems with loan deals. even on deadline day we wanted a striker but who we tried to sign I don't know
  16. no that is the reality and the current situation. 2 wins and we get a playoff place. Can you say that isn't true? You might be happy to write us off But I won't!!
  17. we need to win both games and we get a playoff place.
  18. Its very simple for Rovers, just win the next 2 games and we get playoff place. Its that simple
  19. That why we are detailing scouting into players for the past 3 months and have our target lists. nothing guaranteed you success in the players being good but even some of the great managers have made poor signings in the past. Mowbray made a number of poor signings during his time here. They aren't excuses but actually facts of what happened. most of the scouting and researching plus have target lists has already been done before Sean Kimberley joined as GB said to the last meeting at the fans forum
  20. The deal was agreed and the player agreed before he had a chance of heart. He has just scored 2 goals today. We should have signed a striker in January. Do you blame him for the administration problem with the contract?
  21. it was just a idea. You could just refund the people who bought one the price for that game. are they any clubs who offer a similar thing to what the Rovers trust is offering?
  22. As I said last night, GB came in during the summer with no recruitment team in place. Hirst look a good option which didn't work out tho he playing well and scoring for Ipswich now in league 1. Sometimes it just doesn't work for a player at a club. We also a deal in place and accept by Brighton and Undav to come here before he U-turn and back out of the deal. Can't blame for the Undav deal but we should have other targets. The O'Brien fiasco as that wasn't in his department but he was man enough to take the blame when others should have face up. Now looking to the summer GB has already spoken on how we recruit and the lists are ready to go depending on what division. Why should it affected tho when you understand what has happened and some of it is out of control? Some of the best managers have made poor signings in the past but did people question their judgement?
