No Possession football is control the ball in all areas and playing with quick tempo. Look at Leicester City away or Sheffield United at home and away in the cup as prime example of playing quality attacking possession football Yet JDT delivered our best league position finish since relegation without a main number 9 striker scoring 15 goals plus and 2 good cup wins. I like us playing possession based football and its the way I would play. What style of play would you play with these players then?

Excellent win for England and never go against your team ever. Very good performance. Never in doubt here. These players continue to play in positive manner and I guess some on here don't like it and prefer a more defensive style of play but each player is responsible for how they play. These aren't t20 players in the team only and I find these sort of comments boring now. Stokes wants to play positive smart cricket and he has given clarity to the players that he won't slammed them for playing any shots they want to play. I think most of us can accept that he might had slight injury and not fit enough for JDT's high standards, but he has been training with the players and he has said how much he is enjoying it here which is very pleasing to hear

I like listening to the PL build up on Sky Sports of the games. But EFL highlights should be more focus on actions from the games and interviews with players/managers of their main game on ITV. I would suspect the BBC or Channel 4 to bid for the next TV highlights package from the EFL

Firstly, it was good to get back to watching Rovers today. First game was ok game. Ash Phillips was our best player on the pitch. Tronstad look decent enough. Not good enough up front. . Kaminski made a couple of good saves. Second game, we started poorly and Pears should have done much better with their first goal. Wharton was caught out for both goals. Second goal was a pen. Then that sort of woke Rovers up and we scored very good goals cos we upped their tempo of our possession. JRC our best player. Dolan scored a good goal as did Hedges. Almost scored with the last kick of the game with JRC 's free kick which I think was going in. So from both games I will say Rovers need more signings in forward area. Still need a main 9 striker and right side attacking player. Still think we need another left back more than centre back for me. Batty not ready yet. I will say that Stanley's food is reasonable price and simple menu. Tho I couldn't watch Stanley play regular. Not for me. They had 6 players on trial today. Such a dull team to watch.

England needs a couple of quick wickets tomorrow. Stokes's batting today was a great watch plus Wood's quick innings was fab to watch. Wood's bowling today was great to watch. Broad has Warner's number every time. rubbish. anything less 300 runs to win I think England are strong favourites, anything above that will be tough but still more than doable for me. then back Aussies.
