We did try to sign Ibrahima Koné on loan FC Lorient and he was sent to come over here for medical but circumstances changed cos Nice wanted to buy their other striker Terem Moffi from them for 20 million pounds meaning that deal didn't happen. I agree we should have sign a striker in January. even on the last day, we should have still had a back up like Maybe get Rhodes in for 6 months from Huddersfield or asked Fulham could we have Rodrigo Muniz on loan and take over his loan deal at Boro cos he hasn't played there. the problem with that is when you are looking at loans only we are more reliant on the other waiting to green light the move Forest wouldn't release him until they had signed the player they want which was Andre Ayew who they signed that afternoon -

No interested in betting with you. Why don't you just let that sink in for abit. Look like Russell Martin is the odds on favourite for the job Swansea City transfer news as Russell Martin now runaway favourite to join Southampton - Wales Online I read a few articles about the problems with Southampton and the management set up. I read Plymouth's manager Steven Schumacher is their first choice. -

I have said from my viewpoint that ST price is affordable and value for money, but for others fans it isn't and should be cheaper. Which you praised me for. I also said that his extra money from the New TV deal should be used to make ST and match day tickets cheaper. I also said we should keep the same price all summer and not changed it meaning penalising people who can't afford now but in 2 months time their circumstances changed and not afford one. Also I agreed with milller11 we should keep on sale all season. You keep blaming SKY but they aren't the problem as they are the broadcaster that EFL and its clubs decided to go with after agreeing to pay what they did. Its the EFL and its clubs who wanted more money for TV right. Its clubs from EFL wanted more money but know they to allow more games to be shown live to reach the money they wanted. So you annoyance should be with EFL clubs and its boardroom -

Clearly you don't understands. If they don't show more games then the TV revenue don't increase meaning clubs don't get more money. Why would EFL or clubs put limits on games? Or why would Sky accept them given how much they are paying for TV rights? Look at the situation from their viewpoint not just your own. -

It's the clubs and EFL who are to blame not Sky here. That's the bit you are failing to understand here. Clubs want more money meaning cheaper ST and match day prices hopefully. I don't know what times the games in 24/25 season going forward. Guess it will decide sooner What obsession with us having a bet!!! -

I think we do. Also if we signed Undav then we would have made playoffs place. He decided to stay at Brighton -

But then EFL and clubs wouldn't get the revenue from the TV companies they were looking for. Don't forget it was the clubs and EFL wanted more money so maybe look why they did. of course some people will not being able to make game but it might some people attend. Not everyone works Monday to Friday 9-5 anymore. On Kick off times I don't what the kick offs will be under the new TV deal. Do you? Daft and silly comments. Its time you stop being Sky and actually look who wanted this deal EFL and the clubs who wanted more TV coverage and better TV income. I'm talking about it from my own view point whilst I have expressed a number of points in ST thread about lower STH prices, cheap match day prices and having the same prices all summer plus keeping ST on sale all season. -
Who cares about the Champions league really? I haven't watched one game all season. I also don't have BT Sports either

That's why Sky and EFL agreed to announced any fixtures changes before the season starts for fixtures up to the 3rd round of the cup. What more could we asked for? Also clubs and EFL want more revenue for TV rights but then more games need to be moved for TV coverage. Clubs and EFL can't have it both ways. That's way Clubs need to use some of extra money towards making tickets cheaper for games moved to tempt fans in ground for tv games. Plus also make ST cheaper in the long term The kick offs I don't like are the Saturday 12.30 cos I don't finish work until 8am then I have no time for few hours of sleep. Any others don't bothered me at all. I quite like the Hull kick off tbh cos it was different and nice day. Might have been very different if it been December or January tho its a good idea there Rodgers is on Spurs shortlist to become their next head coach there. Potter might be going to Nice in France. No way of either going to the championship to manage next time. Its been reported that Plymouth manager Steven Schumacher is the one Southampton want. -

Surprised it wasn't earlier posted on here. I believe Russell Martin is the other one being touted and was reported last week. I'm not sure he would, huge rebuilding there. I would think Feyenoord from Holland is a bigger threat in taking him if their lose their head coach -
Its a point me and @Miller11were discussed this weekend on here. What happens if your job situation changes and you can afford and purchase a ST in late September cos your work or financial situation has change. You shouldn't be prevent from buying one This is fair point and understandable one if that's situation. why ST prices should be the same all summer

what a load of rubbish again, also what has that got to do with you and anybody else. People shouldn't throw stones at glass houses!!! deffo agreed Mike 10000%

I'm sure you can watch the coverage on a different channel given how you watch the games. No I didn't see the coverage of Monday night Football before the game. As I said in previous post I said I've spoken to some work colleagues who go to PL games and they said the emotion of scoring a goal cos VAR checks it and afterwards it's not the same. Have you spoken to anyone who think similar? It's if as I read on here the EFL want to introduce a similar rule to the one UEFA are bringing in. Wages being below turnover and the final figure being 70% of turnover going to wages. So yes it can be done for cheaper tickets for games moved. EFL and its clubs wanted more TV revenue so more games have to be shown. What's alternative? Could you please answer this question I asked you " Which silly kick off timed are the biggest problem to you? -

chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Well mute your TV then 🤔 I think VAR has taken the emotion of the scoring a goal cos more often then not its always a VAR check. Ask fans who go to PL games. They all say the same thing. Spurs need to buy some defenders but they need to play attacking football like they did under Pochettino. His teams don't fall apart after a year or two. It's only this season that the problems have occurred. Had good first 2 and half season including FA cup win. Which silly kick off timed are the biggest problem to you? Clubs wants more TV revenue so more games on television so its clubs need to come up with better tickets prices including ST as discussed in other threads. -

I like Richards. VAR has taken the insist goal celebrations away from the game. EFL clubs want more TV revenue meaning more games being moved for coverage. Down to clubs to come up with good tickets deals now to get fans in. Did a good job at Leicester until the last 12 months. Lack of signings in the last 12 months plus his signings haven't improved the team like Daka for example. Plus losing Schmeichel this summer was massive loss. Also I think he did good jobs at Swansea, Liverpool and Celtic. Shit job at Reading. Still think he's do a good job at Spurs. Would get playing attacking football -

lack of recruitment in the summer cost them massively. Plus some of Rodgers's signings have been poor. -

I think Sky coverage is very good and how they have envolved and developed with football has improved it for fans watching view. Some of the pundits for the EFL I get bored of listening to but I just switch the game on 5 minutes before kick off like Bradford Carlisle game. I enjoyed the PL pundits and they have different views. We had that discussion about kick offs times and disregard to fans before so there is no need to have it again. Going forward with Sky showing 10 games a week of EFL with only see more kick off time being moved in the future why they agreed all fixtures moved before the 3rd round of the cup being announced before the season starts which is fair enough I agree that VAR has killed the game and as you seen tonight twice its killed their instant goal celebration cos VAR has to be involved. I remember the Shearer moment when he scored the last minute winner against Leeds in January 1994 I agree there. I hear that aswell of work colleagues of fans of PL clubs I agree there and we lost John Moston and it will be sad day when he leaves Football coverage. Leicester did fine until they got undone by a simple long ball and the back 4 not being organised to deal with the ball I wouldn't count Leeds out yet -
Cos people having season ticket isn't the problem but the price of the some fans who want one unaffordable. Yes I think membership scheme is a good idea for fans who can make a number of games a season but can't afford a season ticket or can't make every game a season due to family or work commitments, etc. You don't get a season ticket to get away days tickets anyway. I wanted to go that game but I refuse to become a member of 1875 club as being a loyal STH should be enough. I wanted to do the Millwall away game but given how Rovers priority tickets firstly for people who actually been to away games first which I think was right given they been to number of away games which sadly this season wasn't able to do.
