  1. Very good win today. Right team picked by JDT. Started the game very well and on the front foot. Dolan and Szmodics goals just shows how good we are at playing the style of play JDT wants to. The players understand it and now playing so effectively. Szmodics's second goal was again good football and movement. Without Wharton's sending off I think we would have the game 4 or 5 nil comfortable. I thought Wharton's sending off was harsh cos he did get the ball and I think we will appeal it. Hill was a rock at the back again. Good signing by us. Dolan, Pickering and Tronstad also stood out for me. Wahlstedt has few dodgy moments but he is still learning and developing here. Plus playing in a new country and different standard of football. He did try to catch the ball more today. Doesn't look comfortable doing it so I would prefer him to punch it if that's what he prefers. Up to 10th and onwards and upwards now JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪
  2. I wouldn't risked Szmodics if not fully fit. Saved for PNE game my team would be Wahlstedt Brittain Hill Wharton Pickering JRC Tronstad Wharton Moran Leonard Sigurdsson
  3. Bowled well against. Rashid the outstanding bowler. Aussies didn't know how to play him.
  4. I never said he wasn't ready for the first team anywhere in my post did I?
  5. So if you were going to play up front how would step the rest of the team up? I think 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 is our best formation and best suits our squad. Very few managers/head coaches play with 2 up front nowadays?
  6. Of course is age us relevant cos he is learning and developing his game, finishing. He's around 20 years old and currently our first choice striker. He is 6 years of his peak. If we continue to develope him we will have a very good striker there. He was gutted not to score yesterday or on Saturday. His movement is good and under JDT his finishing will come no doubt.
  7. Sigurdsson's chance 8 yards out. Should have scored. Leonard's shot was just outside the box and he tried to bend it just inside the post with his left foot He is young, still learning and developing. Let's not try to be too critical at this stage
  8. Of course we will lose a game but I will never predict my Rovers team to lose.
  9. David Willey retiring from all cricket after this world cup. Players from the world cup squad are saying Matthew Mott isn't to blame for these performances in the world cup but the players. Eoin Morgan has dismissed suggestions he will replace Mott as ODI coach after the world cup. In Lancashire CCC news, looks like Nathan Lyon will become one of overseas players for next season. Interesting move by them
  10. no cos it's doesn't suit our squad and our squad is suited to playing 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 formation.
  11. why would I ever predict a Rovers lost? No its is not insane at all. We need to brave and show no fear unwise we will lose this game before we get on the pitch
  12. I think we will beat these 2-1. Garrett to score.. Is his team selection going to be stronger than Saturday team? No it's not. Nothing to fear there.
  13. Yes huge gamble by them. Surprised move by them as everyone thought Warnock had the job in the bag Sheff Wed owner has deffo lost the plot again.
  14. I would made Crawley the new ODI and t20 Captain. I would keep Mott as England coach. batsmen wise - Phil Salt, Tom Banton, Zak Crawley, Harry Brook, Ben Duckett, Jamie Smith, Sam Hain, Will Smeed, All rounders - Will Jacks, Bowlers - Matthew Potts, Brydon Carse, Gus Atkinson, Rehan Ahmed, Jack Carson, Henry Brookes, Sonny Baker, Sam Cook, Blake Cullen, Matt Parkinson,
  15. But the United fans I work with biggest problems are the lack of spending on improving the stadium or training facilities plus the lack of proper transfer plan and no proper sporting director
  16. I work in Preston and have several United supporting work colleagues and some of them go to some games. Tonight will be interesting cos I imagine they will massive discussion on yesterday game, Ten Hag's team selection and subs, etc.
  17. Brailsford is already involved in football with Ratcliffe other owned footballing teams.
  18. I don't think its weaken us at all during the game
  19. I deffo don't see why Ange Postecoglou would want to leave Spurs for Man Utd when Spurs are on the up, great stadium and training facilities compare to United. United could turn to Hansi Flick, Unai Emery, Julen Lopetegui. I did read that Graham Potter could replace Ten Hag I read the other day. never said otherwise tho did I.
  20. not sure Maddison would have gone United when Spurs was in for him. I have been very impressed by their manager Postecoglou so far. Has a clear way of playing What is a "Man Utd Player" these days? The Ferguson's days have long gone. This ownership problem and what Jim Ratcliffe is going to do if he does buy 25% of the club. There is so many problems there like run down stadium, training factilities that need updating and improving, then appointing a sporting director. Ten Hag did a good job last season but I agree with what Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Micah Richards and Roy Keane were saying post match we don't know what Ten Hag playing style is still after 18 months there. Both Neville and Keane still backing Ten Hag
  21. only played in half of the game so far down to injuries. I would be playing him as the 10 behind Striker.
  22. Surely your first choices would be John Eustace who did an excellent job at Birmingham or Gary Rowett who did similar at Millwall
  23. if that' what you actually think then I will leave there.
  24. Szmodics was obvious choice after Travis and Hyam weren't available and yes I would give to him again.
