  1. I was guilty of backing him too much as I admit on Saturday on here in a post(which clearly you missed). I can admit my mistakes and I will post them on here but I did want him out after the Barnsley away game during the Covid season.
  2. Great effort by Rovers fans Good on JDT for taking the FA Cup so serious aswell
  3. fictional? 2 well respectable posters have the same info plus JDT's comments about him interesting comments from JDT and it suggested his attitude isn't right. Hopefully he can get back into the match day before end of the season Maybe we should based it on a period of games not just one off game
  4. no one is an idiot firstly but they have an opinion. As MattyBlue has said they are still quite a few people who would rather have Mowbray here than JDT. I agree with MattyBlue(again)'s comments about the Reading game
  5. I guess they are happy to be out of league 1 and want to get back to the PL as soon as. But Mowbray did it for 4 years here whilst JDT is in first season at this level and in the championship.
  6. I can deffo understand bringing in 1 but no reason to loaned Garrett who has shown he can complete and play at this level. We need to sort out this Adam Wharton situation aswell
  7. People have sad they were a falling out between them before he got injured. Is he even ready for the first team given he has only just come back into the match squad. I would go for Garrett over Morton myself for this game
  8. This is the team I would pick Pears JRC Carter Hyam Brittain Travis Garrett Thomas Szmodics BBD Gallagher Subs:- Hilton, Pickering, Phillips, Morton, Hedges, Dolan, Leonard Very harsh to dropped Dolan and Pickering to be honest but but it was between Thomas or Dolan and Brittain or Pickering to be selected. Garrett selection in midfield is a simple one for me cos he will make tackles and can switch the play aswell
  9. good point and JDT has made the point from day one that squad players must been match fit and why they play so much for under 23's than ever before and taking parts in these sorts of games
  10. just shows how predictable this league is. are you surprised by his comments? I ain't one bit
  11. I think playing the deep midfield playmaker is right role for him in this team with Travis next to him. Unless Dack goes in the summer I can not seen him playing that high up in the 10 role again I think Morton has been goodish overall this season but recently had a number of poor games and rightly dropped by JDT. O'Brien deal was mess up by our admin team(Not GB or recruitment team) It will be interesting to see if we sign a midfielder this summer and whether Adam Wharton and Jake Garrett will play more next season
  12. I enjoyed watching championship/EFL football. I guess it depends on the game you choose to watch. I don't know how you watch Sheffield United vs Luton but I wouldn't have chosen to watch that game cos of how both teams play. I didn't watch any EFL football coverage yesterday. Watch bits of Norwich vs Sunderland today One person who sits near me is still obsess with Mowbray and when we have bad period/half of game he is very quick to say that plenty would be booing if Mowbray was still in charge. He also said that he and his friends think JDT is far too arrogant and doesn't think he is right man for us. I made the point that most successful managers/head coaches are arrogant in some ways and mentioned Mourinho, Pep Guardiola and Klopp as 3 that are but Also Warnock in the same point and Mowbray was also arrogant in some ways aswell when he was here I think that season he should have got us promote that season no doubt given the quality squad he had and the forward options was excellent.
  13. Why do you not think the deeper midfielder role is right for him? Where would you play him then?
  14. Only saying what these people say and they don't like him He taking the pressure of the players in public The league is very enjoyable to watch and unpredictable results in the league makes it good league IMO. Watford is disorganised club with shocking number of head coaches in such a short space of time. I want top 6 and playoff place but if we didn't get it I would be disappoint but still think JDT has done a very good job in his first season in this league
  15. Huddersfield could go into administration but owner of Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in talks to buy Championship club | The Sun
  16. I agree we have a great opportunity to get into the top 6 this season as we seen no death spinal like under the previous manager. Some fans still wouldn't accept JDT as Rovers head coach even if he got us to Wembley whether in a FA Cup semi final or even Playoff final I don't think anyone would contently accept finishing outside top 6. I would be disappointed by it and it depends on why we missed out on them if it did happened I think JDT is downplaying expectations for very different reasons to Mowbray, but what is said to the players behind closed doors is more important
  17. I wouldn't be selling Buckley at all. Him and Travis have been good overall since coming back into the team after being dropped for a number of games
  18. Blimey you just can't give him any credit or praise can you?
  19. Always willing to admit when I get it wrong and post it on here
  20. Already we were poor for 85 mins of that game.
  21. You wrote Striker 3 times so just asking it 1 striker or 3 strikers signings you want? I would like a striker with pace sign this summer
  22. Last night performance wasn't gutless at all. We were just poor for most of the game. If we won yesterday you would be saying we are the best thing since slice bread now after one loss we are gutless 🤔
