  1. I do see them making a better appointment than Richardson. Duncan Ferguson is currently the odds-on favourite for the job. Wonder how Wigan fans think about that possible appointment. I do think Wigan should have stick by Richardson at this point. I do think that the points I before should have allowed more time in my opinion. I do think Wigan are floundering at all. Wigan are a bottom 6 squad. There is no loyalty in Football apart from their Supporters supporting their club through thick and thin.
  2. That a question the fans forum should be asking at their meeting with the Rovers hierarchy. I was unaware of this £25 pounds offer from them. I do think Rovers should have agree to it tho.
  3. I would think Villa will look to Spain for that striker. Rovers won't be selling BBD in January in my opinion. Down to opinion but I would Lampard has been differentiator there already in my view. Plus he can attract good quality players like Coady, Tarkowski, Maupay, McNeil, etc.
  4. He has been a breath of fresh air and different to our previous manager/head coach. He seems to be a very good coach and has clear ideas what he wants and demands from each player. He isn't afraid to sub any players regardless of what the fans think.
  5. delighted to have a home game in the next round
  6. I don't think Everton will get relegated anyway with Lampard in charge. Some very good quality players there. I would say will finish between 10th and 13th
  7. I think the point @1864roveriteis trying to make is that Rovers would put tickets at lower prices if clubs did the same for our fans when we pay away at their ground. For example, Sheffield United, their away fans were charge £14.60 same as home fans, but Sheffield united charge our away fans more than double than that if memory serves me right.
  8. I would suggest you look at last season and the total and utter mess that Wigan went they were in administration for months and he steer that ship to make sure they stay in 2020-21 season then he got them promotion last season and this season despite them being 23rd he deserved more time in that seat. Also, they have bigger problems like paying wages on time which they failed to pay on time 3 times so far.
  9. blimey I didn't know we were going so far back when its was 60 overs at the start of the world cup not 50 overs. Given that the quality of cricketers Australia have had they should have won it so many times. England now have the best quality we ever had to play the sort of white ball cricket we want to play, Also this is t20 world cup and we won it back 2010, and we have had 6 winners of the 7 tournaments played. It's a personal opinion that the pitch was much better than India's batting shown. Buttler and Hales shown how good that pitch was. If you disagree fine by us.
  10. Sat on fence? I said I wouldn't have taken Maddison to this world cup but took that extra striker instead. I didn't let me own personal opinion on Maddison a player I rated higher come into this. I have always been a massive fan of his since his Norwich days. His form justifies his selection deffo but I would have picked the squad I did Hasn't Toney not been selection cos of the match betting probe into him What with negative feelings and attitude? I see this world cup as wide open, and I think someone like Denmark could win it if we don't. He has taken 3 right backs but Tripper can play left back. Hasn't Southgate picked players like Mount, Gallagher, Foden, Grealish cos they played a number of attacking midfielders roles with wide right or left or as number 10. Rashford can play a wide attacking player but looking at this squad he looks like he will play as main striker if Kane is taken off or not playing cos fitness or injury.
  11. The Premier League is very tight points between the bottom half teams with only 6 points between 11th to 20th. I would stick with Lampard and I think Everton will. They need stability and not keep swapping managers every season
  12. delighted for him. like I said yesterday to Roversfan99 I am massive fan of Maddison
  13. We are talking Cricket and not other sports in this thread. Didn't we win the 2019 cricket world cup? I see to remember that happening. It's your behaviour of constantly writing off England cricket chances that worries me why you even bother support them or watching England games
  14. I don't any form of Rugby so couldn't comment. England under Southgate have performed well in the last 2 tournaments. England in T20 world cup final. Doing very well I would say.
  15. I am always positive and always will be
  16. The only form that matters is the form in the world cup not in friendlies or Nations league BS. Before Euro 96, Shearer had not scored in 12 games in the 21 months prior to the tournament but he ended up the tournament top scorer with 5 goals. writing England off already you would have thought you would have learnt about doing that after this morning England cricket win wouldn't you?
  17. Sorry Jim, but the post wasn't silly at all cos you have a history of writing England off time after time. Maybe it's time you learn your lesson and write our England team and players off regularly like you do I will always back my country Football and cricket teams just like I always back Rovers every single time and It's not about having rose-tinted flag waving nonsense but being proud and passion about the England cricket team Yet England are in the final of the T20 final after 3 very good performances and you instead want to focus on the one negative performance which doesn't surprise me tbh. The pitch was much better quality than 168 par score plus also far too much is made from the media on this bollocks of par scores on pitch. T what sort of attitude is that? why can't it be like the 2019 world cup and the T20 champions like 2010
  18. Yes, they have financial problems like not paying wages on time. Your other points I agree with. Neil Critchley is one of the favourites for Luton Town and Wigan managerial vacancies. Another 2 names I think might be in the running for the jobs are ex Watford Rob Edwards and Bournemouth interim head coach Gary O'Neil who I read won't be offered the Bournemouth job full time by the new Owner of them when the deal goes through. Exactly and having that stability is key for us getting promote from this league
  19. No surprised that Southgate has picked Maguire. Surprised he hasn't taken Abraham or Calvert Lewin. I would like another main striker. He picked a few players who can played a few different players like Rashford, Maddison, Gallagher. Let's go and win the world cup now.
  20. utter madness from Wigan and why give him a new contract 3 weeks ago only to sack him now. No Loyalty from Wigan to the person who rebuilt that club which they were league 1 and in administration last season. Will be interesting to see who Luton and Wigan appoint now. I also wouldn't be surprise if 2 or 3 more clubs change the manager/head coach during this 5 week break after this weekend fixtures
  21. Wouldn't surprise me if Moyes was next PL manager to be sack now.
  22. Well done, Jim, when will you learn to never write England off. You did it several times during the summer and it bite you on your ass. Maybe you will learn shortly 169 wasn't even a par score on a good batting wicket. England played their natural batting game. Rashid bowled very well and we did Bowl very well. Every England player knows their role within this team You need to play smart cricket and the same boundaries and square of the wicket is where the short boundaries were
  23. England have bowled very well. Rashid bowled very well India are 77-3 after 12 overs
