  1. All comes back to what you want. I would natural in each full back position and not players who can fill in.
  2. He was centre back/left back actually but we are talking about a legend of the game. Ideally you want a natural balance to a back 4 and that include a left foot at left back and right foot at right back
  3. I'm slammed the training ground project, signed Rev Petition and condemned it on here. What more do you want? You keep posting the same old comments weekly now about contract problems with Rothwell, Nyambe and Lenihan but have zero evidence of what you are accusing the club of doing? so how do you know that we haven't offered them new improved contracts? spoken to the players or their agents? Look at the full quote and interview instead of micro looking at what you want to.
  4. He being mental right now and he will give the squad and the nation a lift. It makes our team much better and better balance to the 11. I think the key to winning there is us batting well and openers/top 4 making runs
  5. I should also said that I believe that the full back position you should have natural right footed at right back and left footed at left back.
  6. I don't see it criticise either but saying that he is improving game by game. Mowbray and Waggott have both told the local media thats the players have been offered new improve contracts. If this was untrue then I am sure the players and their agents would find a way to leak it thats these claims were false. Plenty of media outlets out there to leak it. If you wish to go down this road of not believing them then thats down to you JH.
  7. Carter can play right back. Nyambe is a right back not a left back. Pickering is left back but not a right back. Simple as
  8. Do you honest think Mowbray isn't talking to Rothwell about his centre midfielder role and whats he needs to improve and get better game by game. of course they are talking and being honest about it He was right winger at Man Utd during his youth days there but he isn't a midfielder by trade by almost re-learning his trade as centre midfielder and over the last 18 months he has improve and got much better positional and tactically Rovers have had many conservations with these players and their agents over them signing new contracts and it appears that they aren't. Maybe people know more than you. They were few people around me in the Blackburn End saying that they had heard that Rothwell is off to Rangers and he will sign a pre contract with them. And now we have to go back over old ground and repeat the same debate/argument every week cos you refuse to accept that FFP prevent the club spending money and you refusal to accept that FFP rules are in place and we have to work within them. Plus maybe you realise that Football clubs at Championship level are having financial reset. Just at your link yesterday about Cardiff. . So why won't you accept that Rovers were well over the 39 million pounds threshold you are allow over 3 seasons.
  9. Carter has played right back before. Edun and Pickering aren't right back just like Nyambe isn't a left back either
  10. Wilder did prefer 3-5-2 at Sheffield United but Dolan isn't a left wing back and when he said Travis and Buckley in CM with Chapman and Dolan plus Dack in hold plus Brereton and Gallagher up front. How does that sound 4-4-2 to anyone Rovers best formation is 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 formation
  11. Stokes back in the England squad for the Ashes is great news for him, his team mates and the Ashes
  12. McAvoy speaking to the media before the Liverpool cup game,
  13. JRC and Wharton will be playing tonight for under 23's https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1101162491?-11198:839
  14. I think you seen that with players individually improving like Dolan, Brereton, Pickering, Buckley for just example He works with them 1 on 1 basis and with the help of technology to show them where they gone wrong and what they should have done.
  15. Yes he made the same comments to BBC Lancashire post match. Mowbray was being honest and People will look at the negative comment instead of the final comment where he says "But he's trying hard to improve, he's getting better and with the ball he can be a sensation at times - as you saw today"
  16. Really? I think Johnson is very well thought off at Rovers. I hope he stay on after Mowbray's leaves Rovers You could have the same of Steven Reid at Forest being tarred with the Hughton coaching brush, But Cooper kept him on.
  17. Edun is left footed. If Nyambe is out then I would play Carter there
  18. Well according to local PNE reporter for Lancs Live there is no change and McAvoy will speak to media tomorrow
  19. But neither fir the club or what the fans wanted. Look or watch Neville's comments about Mourinho and his outbursts he has at every club. It happens at every club
  20. Interesting you ignore the points I've made on the last post like the mess Mourinho left there or the next manager fitting the squad there or the club
  21. Tuchel suits the Chelsea squad which is important part of the jigsaw which a Conte or Zidane don't fit the squad or the club. I believe Liverpool and Chelsea had better squad last season despite their league positions. Maybe look at the mess Mourinho left United in. Neville will know a lot more than we do about that. All depends who you would bring in and the best managers who would fit United are employed and unlikely to leave mid season
  22. Woah. Its appears that they will be more financial cuts there this season and next. But I expect alot of championship club will be similar tbh. It doesn't look a very attractive job for the next manager tbh. no money to spend and more cutbacks. Rely on academy players and free/loans signings. Can't see Wilder being interested in that job. I think they will go for someone like Michael Flynn or Bellamy with Bowen tbh.
