  1. I would keep both if we get promote If not promote then maybe we look to sell one but even if we did we need a good back up. Maybe keep Hilton on if those circumstances
  2. Nowhere have I said that our scouting team judgement should be trusted unconditionally so I just don't understand the comments. Also don't think Morton is an underwhelming signing.
  3. No I have accepted over the last 30 years that Football isn't just 3pm sport but is played over 4 days over weekend with different time slots. Are trains even reliable nowadays? Probably not. Some neutral fans will watch the game but Sky want to cover the teams pushing for promotion. That is us this season These types of kick offs time might become the norm if EFL gets their way and BT sports, Sky Sports and vivaplay shares the TV rights.
  4. Fair point Darren there but over the weekend they tend to 2 to 3 championship games on TV. This might change if the EFL gets their way with TV new deal
  5. Just highlighted that football isn't 3pm kick off sport anymore
  6. Hasn't he been dropped recently and that's would suggest that there isn't a clause? Also it's your opinion that there is a clause in the deal?
  7. That's were I disagree there. Everything is an opinion. That's it. But yet our scouting team thought he was right choice for the number 10 JDT wanted? Maybe our head coach is using his attributes in the right way. why we shouldnt used Peterborough fans opinions isnt it?
  8. Yes of course. I talking about players like Pears, Carter and Dolan
  9. Three years is too short. You would renegotiate ever 12 to 18 months new contracts with players. 4 to 5 years contract is the right approach IMO
  10. Who says Morton has that sort of clause in it?
  11. Surely Pears and Szmodics deserved to keep their shirts after the recent good performances? I think so
  12. Why it relevant then? His performances have been outstanding recently. His quality on the ball has been very good. Also notice that the team has clicked since that Rotherham away game
  13. Broughton came across very well and explained how the January went and the problems behind the O'Brien deal. Also explained how the recruitment process is going and how shortlists will work. Budgets for 2023/24 season are agreed already. Season tickets will be sale by Easter it's says.
  14. Why does it matters what Peterborough fans thought? He is showing his worth to the team and why we sign him. His work rate and effort is top notch and exactly
  15. Paul Ince's post match comments are embarrassing and deluded. His team were awful tbh I can't he was ever manager here. He was awful during his team here
  16. Spot on there and JDT is well liked by Rovers but strong, firm and ruthless with them @roversfan99do you care to adjust your opinion on Pears save which you said was straight at it which it wasnt?
  17. JDT is doing a great job and the football we are playing is really good to watch and entertaining
  18. I thought the first half shot moved in the air and on their goal I would like to see back to see what Pears's view was. He made a really good save in the second half. I would stick with Pears to be honest with Kaminski is fit. His shirt to lose now
  19. Thought Morton was good tonight Shaky? Made some good saves tonightl
  20. Excellent all round performance by us. Created plenty of chances and Should have scored 6 or 7 goals tonight. Good attacking football Szmodics rightly man of the match tonight. Outstanding tonight. Delighted with 3 points and win!!!
  21. Broughton was with O'Brien at his medical at Manchester City training ground. I don't know why it held there before you asked. If you actually listened to his interview properly you would know that he and O'Brien got back to Brockhall as soon as possible. Waggott was attending the Birmingham game whilst Company secretary was at Ewood Park finalising the paperwork and a couple of the media team was at Brockhall interviewing O'Brien cos we thought the transfer was done. The company secretary and his role is responsible to Waggott not Broughton. I see it Broughton runs the footballing side of the club and Waggott the administration side of the club
