Didn't think PNE was even in the race to be honest We lost it to great strike and JDT changing formation when not needed to back 5. I was positive and happy about how we played and the style we played. come back to people mentality and attitude surely and not looking at the bigger picture first. Yes 2 losses in the last 2 games is far from ideal but it is still in our hands and we will bounce back on Monday I'm sure. No reason to bring them in this discussion. pointless I haven't seen enough of him to have and form an opinion on him -

no cos I was saying this in the summer to you that this would transition season and it would take time for JDT to settle in and learn about the leagues plus for JDT to get the signings and players he wants to play his style of football. I said on this on 1st August which I said" For me its work in progress and I would accept top half in his first season and transition season if its more time to bring in new style of play and his philosophy." https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/35339-transfer-window-complete-where’s-gregg/?do=findComment&comment=2353966 -
Is Josh a stranger to these people tho? that the question. He clearly see them enough to be someone they know but not a close friend

I think Leicester need a manager and given the lack of options who want to move now like the current Celtic manager for example. I will ask, who would you appoint then if you were in charge at Leicester City? It would be disaster for that Football club but the owners has wasted over 600 million on transfers without a clear and coherent plan -
I think Garrett cos he gets his foot in and make tackles which we need first half. He does come across them in weekly life. no may about it. have you been to the Ribble Valley or food outlets/pubs there? People like to talk and that life. I guess in your local community you don't speak anyone.

Fair enough I don't have my coaching badges(sadly) but I watched alot of football and I am big fan or Pep Guardiola since his Barca days. Plus the tactical side of football has interested me for years now. Not heard the term a bruiser for a target man type before. I would like to sign Thomas if we could permanent but in the summer we need 2 strikers which is the priority for me this summer. Cos many of us thought this season would a transition season under a head coach who has never managed at this level or played in this league. Plus players adapting to his football style and man management. I think we are ahead where I thought we would be but given we are I want a playoff spot now -

why mention any of Rooney, Owen or Rashford who are exceptional talented player in this convo? I think Leonard will be on the bench on Monday We played very well at Sheffield United and unlucky to lose to a great strike by Doyle. Nothing to downbeat about it. I don't think either performance was awful at all tbh. We are still top 6 and its still down to what we do.. That's the positive way to look at the current situation. Yes I know they were a big crowd there. Over 16k Rovers fans who was very good and support the team even tho they were some moments that fans got annoyed like the lack of movement in front of centre backs. Meaning the tempo dropped again. -

Leicester City in advance talks with Jesse Marsch -
I would say centre midfield with Travis and either Wharton or Garrett.

I'm surprised that Gareth Ainsworth hasn't had more of instant impact at QPR since taking over -
I wouldn't play that formation. I would play 4-2-3-1 formation which suits our squad and players. Its the formation that the problem but the players playing a quick tempo and having plenty of movements which they didn't for large periods of the game yesterday
-
and your team you picked you dropped Szmodics who was our best player yesterday. He worked hard, plenty of effort and passion from him and made some good runs.

We have seen in the last 2 months and other times that these players can play the way JDT wants. Yes I know about how we play and used JRC and CM's like City and others teams do and I don't think complicated system at all but just need players understand and working on it in training which we clearly do. I think JDT has been very good this season. onwards and upwards for me. -

I don't think either performances was bad as we seen early in the season but no way near our best. is Leonard ready to start? have you seen alot of him or is this just a totally guess by yourself? Szmodics was given plenty of effort and commits whilst others looked shattered. Yet again its comes back to the tempo and movement lacking which is down to the players taking that responsibility to play as they should. -
Josh, Thanks for sharing what you know and it was very understanding that you bumped into these people and have conservations with them Why are not acceptable what Josh has said? what reasons has he got to lie to us? Josh lives in the Ribble Valley and given that number of players and club staff lives within that area he will see them and speak to them. I sometimes spend time at different food outlets in that area(mainly pre covid) and he will plenty of them out and about. People asked question and players will give honest answers to Rovers fans and people. Paul was open and honest to post that conservation. Yes he should why are dropping Szmodics when he was the best player on the pitch yesterday?

I just don't understand how many people are so negative and lack of confidence about our playoffs hopes given the results we have this season and 2 good cup runs plus some of the football we played has been quality. They will be loads of twists and turns yet people have already written JDT and the players already. We need get behind the players and cheers them on and back the players and JDT -

I don't understand why you haven't got a better opinion of JDT cos I think he has produced results and have us top 6 most of the season and played some very good football at times and 2 good cup runs. Yes when we slow the tempo down and lack of movement we look awful but its time the players took the responsible for the on pitch performance cos they know that wasn't good enough yesterday. I read an article on the athletic website by Alan Shearer who was talking about Players taking responsible for on the pitch performances instead of using excuses. I think our players should accept their responsibilities for yesterday and come back much improved and play much better. I can accept defeat if we played well and got beat by the better team but we didn't performed well enough yesterday The paperwork the EFL requested wasn't needed as that situation would never happened. That's isn't Rovers fault. Gregg Broughton did give more detail and here is the article. Blackburn Rovers DoF goes into detail over failed Lewis O'Brien move | Lancashire Telegraph Sacking JDT who has had in promotion and playoff places most of the season is totally clueless and no surprised to see you back here now saying this. The Burnley game is one game and it seems to matters more that one game result then the entire season results which has where we are in the league. -

Mick McCarthy and Terry Connor sacked by Blackpool. McCarthy's comments in the statement said he knew his time was up. They put Stephen Dobbie in charge for rest of the season. Look like they have accept relegation It was good game from what I watched of it -
