  1. Left midfielder? Do you mean as left wing back for Pickering or left side attacker for BBD?
  2. My team would be Pickford Tripper White Stones Shaw Rice Bellingham Foden Mount Sterling Kane
  3. Nixon reporting that Mowbray wants Sunderland to sign Dack in January. No surprise at all he wants him.
  4. I wouldn't dreadful at all but I posted my thoughts on the game in the match thread
  5. I am fully aware of their strengths, but we have to play to our strengths. Today shown why Hedges and Gallagher are key players for us and if fit must start games
  6. Team for this game Pears Buckley Carter S.Wharton Edun A.Wharton Garrett Markanday Dack Dolan Vale Subs:- Hilton, Hyam, Mola, Travis, Hirst, Szmodics, Harlock
  7. I've met him once, hardly a mate is it Josh?
  8. Josh, I think that 4-2-3-1 is our best formation and we get Hedges, Gallagher, Szmodics and BBD in the team which is my preference. Hyam is the first choice centre back with either Ayala or Scott Wharton
  9. It's JDT fault why attendances are so poor? over 13k Rovers fans on. Why won't it last? second in the league, 6 home wins on the bounce and 8 clean sheets so far. to do what today? Why is it luck tho?
  10. Rovers deserved the win and we controlled the first 60 mins. First half we kept possession of the ball and we played with confidence. We had 2 very good chances in the first 2 minutes. Pickering played a wonderful ball over the top to BBD who does what he does best and score goals for Blackburn Rovers! We should have been 3 nil after 60 mins. Then Huddersfield came into the game and had to couple of chances, after that JDT change formation and took Gallagher who was shattered for Scott Wharton, which I think was wrong move cos I would have brought Garrett in for Gallagher and gone to control the midfield battle instead. Bringing on Scott Wharton just give them the ball more and we sat back far too much for my likely. I agree with Vale and Dolan subs. Brittain was my man of the match. He was outstanding today and show why Rovers wanted him for over 12 months and why I said he was the right signing for the right back slot. Pickering and Morton were good aswell. I would pick the same starting 11 against the dingles next week. Gallagher and Hedges shown today why we missed them so much when they aren't playing. Bring the dingles on now. second in the league and 6 home wins on the bounce is an excellent start. JDT's Blue and White Army!!! 🔵⚪
  11. Yes Ewood Park is fortress now and fans were excellent today. 8 clean sheets so far and 6 wins on the bounce at home, second in the league after 20 games is excellent under our new head coach
  12. He is a very good striker and should be on the shortlist to replace BBD if we do sell. Ross Stewart from Sunderland is another player I hope we are looking at. I wouldn't expect more than 2 signings in January. Rovers spent more in the summer than you thought we would. I think Joe Hilton our 3rd choice keeper might be worth a shot over Pears, But JDT seems to think Pears is the better back up keeper. I would Garrett here and playing here. He has shown he is ready to play his part in the squad.
  13. Both are fit to play Miller11 and hopefully both will start tomorrow and rest for the West Ham game ready for the proper Lancashire derby. Wildly? Garrett gets his foot in and that what we need at times. His red card at Coventry was rightly rescinded and it was never a red card in month of Sundays. Ref sent him off cos of the Coventry players reaction. simple as.
  14. JDT's comments have been the same from day 1 and he hasn't changed his stance that is project and time will be needed
  15. Morton will go back and whether Hirst and Mola will sign here permanently will be decided by their performances and nothing else. Who knows what BBD will do. He might stay or he might go but I don't think Rovers should sell him in January for any fee full stop. Phillips will replace Ayala in the squad. Plus, I was talking about the number of changes behind the scenes aswell.
  16. JDT doesn't need self-preservation does he really? He isn't going to get sacked any time soon and has us in the top 6. Given this is a new project within a new footballing management structure plus the amount of other changes happening within the club we are ahead of where I think we would be in the league in terms of league position.
  17. Yes Matty, you are correct on this point. I mistype the word I meant. Rovers aren't demanding promotion this season from JDT which is right given the amount of changes going on at the club. Its a project and we are only 4 months into this but we are within the top 6 now and I think we have a good chance of top 6 this season. Keeping BBD for the rest of the season, keeping key players fit and improve our consist will decide whether we get top 6 this season
  18. Rovers have said he us under pressure to delivered promotion this season. Reported by Sky Sports several times during games
  19. Like I posted to you on the 20th June when we were talking about Vale. I said this. Not writing him off at all. " His movement, ability to finish, running in behind defence are the things I think are his strengths. " its another question that has been asked before and reply. JDT and GB pick him has his first choice striker. JDT knows about strikers. cos I don't worry like you do. Its will take time but I'm sure we will get there. No didn't concern at all cos JDT explained the situation around Hirst not playing in those games.
  20. LT reported the story in May. Hardly gossip was it. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/20173107.blackburn-rovers-must-avoid-adam-armstrong-repeat/ He could have signed Liam Delap on loan but didn't.
  21. Kaminski Brittain Hyam(C) Wharton Pickering Morton Wharton Hedges Szmodics Brereton Diaz Gallagher
  22. Mowbray had more money to spend what he did in the end so maybe it's time you blame Mowbray not the owners. Mowbray was very good at spinning it last January that we had no money. You see a number of posters who have posted that we had a bigger January budget that Mowbray was saying like our bid for Ryan Longman that was around 700k That would be from next season wouldn't it not this one? On signings, I would just add one or 2 players. a backup right back unless we bring back James Brown in January and cancel his loan spell at Stockport. Then a left side attacker player who can back up BBD for rest of the season and then replace him in the summer.
  23. Cardiff to Blackburn is about 3 and half to 4 hours drive so they wouldn't really need to set off till 7am. The roads would be quiet. On Public transport, it isn't reliable one bit and it's getting worse with train strikes, likely bad weather in the coming. Clubs should be making club transport cheaper, so fans use that form of transport instead of relying on public transport in my opinion. On the beer point, That down to personal choice.
