I have stated that its suits this squad to play 4-2-3-1 formation and that's why I would play it. As I have said several times in my posts which each time you overlooked So after arguing to change formation you wouldn't do it. Thanks for answering question I have stated my opinion on Dack and the reasons why. As @Dreams of 1995said its getting boring now. Its like some people can't accept people opinions at the time and understand that what they were basing it now. Opinions changed based on performances in games. Simple as. Just like plenty of people slagged and wrote off Pears after the Wigan FA cup and now he had 6 games in row and only conceded 2 goals in he is changing people opinion -

Delighted we won that game today. First half display by us wasn't good enough. Sat too deep, no pressing the ball high(when we did we won the ball back)enough, poor touches and couldn't get forward with quality apart from Dolan shot. Swansea created one great opportunity to score but hit the bar and Pears got the rebound header. Apart from that they created very well for their possession Second half, we shown a very different performance, pressing high and closing down quickly and more tempo and movement with the passing. Diaz and Dack both went off injured plus Gallagher gone off I didn't think we would score but delighted when Ayala came in with the diving header and put in the back of the net. I am delighted with the 3 points and the clean sheet. I thought we better second attacking wise but lack that quality finisher, but we got the win and the 3 points. 7th and level points with Sunderland and Millwall who are 5th and 6th. Well done Rovers and JDT's Blue and White Army 🔵⚪! -
There is no super fan nonsense at all but people stating a different opinion which you don't agree with. The EFL will blink IMO and realise they aren't fit for purpose. EFL should have had this situation sorted 2 weeks ago but yet again its not. No surprise with EFL or any Football authorities to be fair I have no idea who we hired as lawyers but I think @JHRovermentioned it earlier in the threat

Like I keep saying I based my opinion on what I was watching in games and that was my opinion. Dack has proved me wrong -

I commented on what I witness in his performances. not too quick but commenting on what we watched -
I ain't surprised by your answer at all Our chances this season aren't over this season so don't get this notice we failed

Not too positive at the moment? We are in good position to secure a top 6 finish currently. We have just got 2 very good draws at 2 playoffs chasing teams when most people on here expecting nothing and were writing their team off even before a ball was kick in. Most thought after the WBA scored the game was over and we wouldn't score. Guess what we did. Maybe people need to back their team and don't write them off Maybe its not pleasure but far too many people write their team off Given that Rovers are still fighting in and got sports lawyers in and went to keep fighting it suggested we have a very good case and the EFL was at fault. Yet don't have proper procedure in place with an independent panel or people to decide them quickly but as always with them nothing is done with speed always quick to blame Rovers every time Mercer

I thought Dack had more than enough time to show his quality and didn't look the same player. Since the World cup he has looked fitter, better and like the old Dack even we still need to managed his game time and how we managed as I said Post WBA game and JDT said similar yesterday. Its isn't changing your mind like the wind but basing it on what you see and performances in games, then basing your opinion on that. and if you looked at his performances before the world cup you would have said that was correct opinion but since the world cup break he has looked a very different player and look like JDT was right with his decision to managed his game time and rush in back in the team. He has managed him correctly -

You are only looking at the last 10 games instead of looking at the overall season including 2 good cup runs. I think this season has been better than I was thinking in terms of league table position. 4-2-3-1 has always been my preferred formation and I think its suits the squad we have. I said this formation was the right formation during the summer You need to make your mind up whether we change formation or not. Would you change formation for today game to back 3 and go 3-5-2 today or not? -

Rovers to win 3-1 today. BBD, Dolan and Carter to score -
If you think that then fine but I don't that as viable reason and from everything in the public domain we seem to have a very good case against EFL and its good to see to see Rovers taking the EFL on

poor spell of results? we just 2 very good away draws when most people on here gave us zero chance of ever picking a draw, Yes Wigan was disappointed result but overall this season has been enjoyable and good in terms of results and table wise. Yes we have dropped from 3rd to 8th but we are still in a good position to get a top 6 and playoff place. On the change of formation, I feel that this squad suits 4-2-3-1 given the attacking players we have. I would play BBD on the left cos his suits his game and how he like to come inside and shoot. Play Thomas wide and Dack in the 10 role with Dolan/Gallagher or Vale up front for rest of the season. -
Do you think Rovers were to blame? serious question, can the club ever do right in your eyes? What can they communicate until we got a final decision? Clearly Rovers think they have a case and they wouldn't be going through our this process and sports lawyers to prove this case.

simple answer no. But I don't believe the club were wrong in O'Brien transfer was done at 10.50pm only for EFL to asked for extra paperwork. Do you think Rovers were to blame?

That's wasn't the case last night but in games they have to do their role defensively which is still part of their job as wide players. I don't get why we need to change things up a bit. The formation suits the squad and the players we have currently. I would stick with it and I always prefer this formation as plan A then maybe plan B being 3-5-2 or 4-3-3 -

not for me, You are leaving our best player JRC in this team and his performances in the last 6 to 8 weeks means he deserved to play. Pickering isn't a wing back for me and Thomas needs to be in final 3rd not playing more deeper and having more defensively responsibilities than playing right winger in 4-2-3-1 -
Never said it was down to the EFL thinking about Streaming matches from 2024/25 season but the point being putting proper procedures and structures to ensure quick and decisive decisions can be make. Sadly the EFL isn't good enough in making quick decisions.

I like Dolan playing the role he does as number 9. Pressing the ball high is one of the aspect of his game that suits us and he can and does win the ball back high for us. Against some teams that suits the team. We have the squad we have. We have to just get on with it and deal it for the rest of the season. moaning or complaining about will do zilch to solved it. That will happen in the summer. Football isn't about entertainment but winning games. I enjoyed certain aspects of our performances last night like Pears, JRC and Carter performances or BBD having more influence and impact the game, but annoyed at Morton's performance for example. Those 2 changes didn't improve us at all not for me cos BBD best form and his impact comes from playing from the left. Where he can cut in from the left and shoot exactly. -

chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This is where we lack a proper number 9 striker but we have deal with the current situation we are in. I think keeping him fit and injury free is a massive factor and his game time still need managing properly -
EFL aren't good enough to run this league. these sorts of decisions should have been sorted with a couple of days by independent person or board of 3. Its needs re-organising and EFL seems more than about streaming football than actually coming up with his TV network for showing live games similar to what is now but then shown on Sky, Amazon, BT, Virgin media for monthly subscriptions for people who want it.
