No heavy metal music or Metallic music. 3 simple suggestions. Beautiful day by U2 Song 2 by Oasis we will rock you by Queen. I think Rovers will go with Final countdown which I do think anyone could complain about tbh

Why not rename the blues bar, the Tony Parkes bar? Or maybe rename the Platinum suite the Tony Parkes suite? -

I gave huge praise to Dack last week over the significant role he played in our promotion from league 1 and the role he has played under Mowbray. He deserved huge credit for that, but I do think that if he isn't playing more than squad role under JDT then I think we should move him on for himself and us, you are correct that he loves Football and playing which is right to move him on in January. IMO, He has plenty of opportunities and he has played in 9 league games this season. Of course Mowbray made public a private conversation between them. He has only done it for 2 reasons. One to put pressure on JDT over the not selection of Dack and he would like to sign Dack in January Dack isn't a striker so why would you play him there, surely you would play Vale, Hirst or Dolan in the forward role. But Vale is a striker not a number 10 player like Dack is. They are 2 very different players and one fits into our current formation and one does. Mowbray style of management suited Dack. -

We will agree to disagree on your first point. I don't know why it is sad to have a very different opinion based on what you see and what JDT and others have said towards Dack -

Based a number of different things already posted on the forum. Plus like I said last week far too focus on Dack again from fans. Plus it's 4 games ago some people had great concerns about JDT. 3 wins in a row people opinion has changed very quickly. My opinion on JDT never changed on him. -

He might be some people first choice as a sub but he isn't JDT. I don't see him playing any part unless we want to play with number 10. So we need to change the Formation for one player cos he can't play in the 3 centre midfield and isn't a striker either. Is JDT wrong for not playing him? Well looking at Championship table he doesn't look like he is. JDT has adapted how he wanted to play as he has said and his preferred formation is 4-2-3-1 but he feels we are better playing 3-5-2 or 3-4-3 cos it gives us a better solid base -

It's about 26% which I would say isn't barely in my opinion. One of our best players from the last seasons? He barely played due to 2 ACL injuries. Dack was big asset nearly 3 years ago. Is he now? Very debatable I would say. No not copying anything but realising that the team is moving on where Dack isn't key player anymore -

Barely? 389 Championship minutes he played is that now barely? We owe him nothing. We gave him a new contract after 1st ACL injury dont forget that. If he isn't wanted JDT then we should get rid. Given his lack of game time recently would suggest he is squad player at best -
But my original point was about your strikers wasn't it? Also my point was about the Norwich game where your attacking play was poor despite all your possession (which you got no points for)
-
Why would Centre back signing be priority in January?. Hyam is improvement on Lenihan or Van Hecke for me.
-
I did says Strikers from the Start. Did you miss that. Despite all those goals we are 2 points behind you. Your game against Norwich was on Sky TV. So I watched the full game.
-
That was Mowbray for you. Dolan can play 2 role, 1 as winger and 1 as pressing forward number 9 I think alot hinges on us being solid defensively. Gallagher and BBD in attack will be our key attacking players. I said strikers not midfielders or wide players. I didn't think your performance was that good to be fair
-
Burnley have been poor aswell this season. Don't forget this. No team have been outstanding good and not running away with the league
-
JDT seems very confident on Hirst and Vale on coming good for him. Dolan can and has played for forward role this season JDT. Wharton has played 9 times in which he has started and played the full 90 mins 3 times, 3 times he started and been subbed between the 61 mins to 69 mins and other 3 appearances are from the bench Only 4 games before that game so doubt we will be threadbare by then. Rodriguez has but your 2 other strikers Barnes and Dervisoglu haven't scored this season. BBD, Gallagher and Dolan have scored goals. Hirst and Vale haven't scored in the league this season. I never said you were rubbish did I but you had a lot of possession but didn't create alot of good chances. I thought Norwich was awful but had 2 good chances at the start of the second half. What did you think of your performance and Norwich's performance last night?
-
No unless they played in the EFL trophy which is against some teams at league 1 and 2 level.
-
yes i did. now correct. We have plenty of experience in the squad and I think us having a younger midfielder might be a benefit. So we didn't midfield in games like Watford at home and Blackpool away as 2 examples. I think us having younger less experience players might actually be benefit to us. They can play with freedom and less worry about past Burnley experience. I think If we can be solid defensively and have players like Szmodics, Hedges and Brittain available after injuries plus BBD and Gallagher then we have more than to caused them plenty of problems and alot more than Norwich actually did yesterday. Norwich was very poor attacking
-
what their championship experience tho? would it be? It hasn't stopped Rovers moving forward this season despite Morton, Garrett and Adam Wharton inexperience and also, they will be going to get experience by playing games!
-
But Sunday league isn't professional football standard where League 1 or 2 level is professional. So my points on experience stance and that all the professional games that players like Szmodics, Hyam and Scott Wharton should count! Morton, Garrett and Adam Wharton despite lack of championship appearances have performed very well so far and I would say their inexperience isn't a problem at all this season. Hirst has over 100 games at Professional level whether its Championship level, level, EFL trophy level or Belgium second division. Dolan has 95 professional games including Championship, EFL and FA cups.
-
does that really matter tho? still professional footballing experience isn't it? Here are their Championship appearances Scott Wharton - 49 Dominic Hyam - 99 Callum Brittain - 86 Lewis Travis - 149 Sammie Szmodics - 50 Ben Brereton Diaz - 187 Sam Gallagher - 219
-
Wharton has 200 games and Szmodics has near 250 games. Is that inexperience now? Travis has 219 games, Hyam has 255, Brittain has 223, Kaminski has 391, Gallagher has 295, BBD has 205 and Hedges has 237.

No way near the same amount of quality that Forest had. -
Has they got more experience than we got really? when we Kaminski, Hyam, Scott Wharton, Ayala, Brittain, Hedges, Szmodics, Travis, BBD and Gallagher.

World Cup 2022
chaddyrovers replied to Nuttall is lost's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The world cup 2026 being held in USA, Canada and Mexico will be more interesting and I still remember the world cup in 94 being so great. Hopefully the world cup in 2030 will be held either in Europe or South America. The European bid is from Spain, Portugal and Ukraine. The South America bid is from Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Also, Morocco has bid for the world cup in 2030 and Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece are bidding also. -
