  1. No, he hasn't. He has spoken about advising our head of recruitment Stuart Harvey to move to Sunderland whilst he is Rovers head coach. Is that complimenting the club by advising employees to leave here? is that a natural thing for a head coach to do? really? Also, his comments make it out like he walked away from Rovers but the truth of it Rovers and owners wouldn't give him a new contract, and this was right for us to do. His time here is done now, but he is still bitter that we didn't offer him a contract during that good spell. It's doesn't matter whether I was a fan of his time, but I was still saying on here for weeks that his 3-4-3 formation wasn't working, and you defend it and him every time. It was clear to me that him and his tactics needed to change for us to achieve a playoff place at very least., but down his stubbornness and incompetence we didn't make the playoffs. That on him in the main. The owners gave him money to spend money in the last 2 transfer windows and he didn't spend it. Mike E has posted this, and others have in the past. Maybe Mowbray should have spent all of his budget in the transfer window and maybe we might have done better. Yes, Mowbray did some good things for Rovers but the successful of our academy is down to lots of people at the club including him, Stuart Jones, Mike Sheron and several other behind the scenes Plus the owners keep funding it and keeping our Cat 1 status every season, they have been here. It isn't solely down to Mowbray and has we have seen this season, JDT and GB have put more faith in our promising players and promoted them to the first team squad like Jack Vale, Adam Wharton and Ash Phillips. Plus, Sam Barnes, Jake Batty and Jake Garrett being part of the first team squad this season. Look at how many times in the last 3 months of last season that the 3-4-3 formation didn't work and he kept having to change it during a game but he wouldn't start with the formation he kept changing to. Ever wonder why he wouldn't? for me, 2 reasons which are his stubbornness to admitted he was wrong and incompetence.
  2. how many of these injuries have we had since JDT came in?
  3. He couldn't have the 10 million from Armstrong sale since it went towards FFP requirements. I tell you two things that would have made a difference. 1, switch formation to 4-2-3-1 instead of his stubbornly sticking to a formation that wasn't working. I was saying this for weeks before he did it. Maybe Mowbray should have realised this but the same old stubborn Mowbray was here. 2. Play Giles in his correct position and stop trying to turn into Mahrez. Thank god this 🤡 has left our club.
  4. Question all you want but I can't Rovers changing it now. I miss going to them tbh.
  5. Blimey they back him every season. Last season no he didn't get the Armstrong money but he has to understand that money was needed for FFP. Plus he still had Gallagher and Brereton who cost 12 million. If he was so unhappy he could have walk away couldn't he? I'm bored of listening and reading his comments now. His Stuart Harvey's comments riled me more than this article but I see these latest comments as his saving face then anything. He failed to mention that it was his fault why we went from second to 8th in 3 months, wasted Giles, wouldn't changes his tactics that wasn't working in the last 3 months.
  6. I wouldn't play him myself. If I was picking back 3 I would pick Stones, Dier and Tomori.
  7. Dier in form for his club. I would pick him. Pope is only playing cos Pickford is injured. On Maguire unsure but need some good form now
  8. Newcastle, West Ham or Everton aren't going to go down any time soon.
  9. It's only 2 staff that joined them since Summer. Hindle and Scout Barrett Read this article early today. He makes it out like he left us not that his contract wasn't renew
  10. Well I understand what you mean but JDT wants it this way. Stuart Jones and Mike Sheron rely all the info back to him about performances and JDT is happy with this
  11. Don't know how people can't see how Rovers want to play in terms of style. For me, been plenty of signs of this for me. Pressing from the front, one touch passing with movement. Still work in progress but plenty to look forward to. Well your last statement is wrong and plenty of clubs in mid table have been there for over 5 years like Newcastle, West Ham, Southampton, Brighton, Everton, Palace, Wolves.
  12. Mount was excellent when he came on. Quality player. Maybe people will realise this now. Pickford should be number 1. Ramsdale as number 2. Pope as number 3. I would pick Tripper over James myself. I deffo wouldn't be picking Trent in the world cup squad. I think tonight starting 11 is what we see in world cup first game
  13. Was it successful in the last 12 months? nope. 5 managers in 12 months is nothing more than utter and complete shambles. on Rovers we need to give JDT time and patience for this season and next season. Rovers now have a proper footballing structure in place now. Time to allow JDT and GB to implement the project and grow this club. The project is making us sustainable PL club not a club like Watford or Norwich Some people seems to have a lack of patience and expect this to happen too quickly and don't allow a plan or project to develop and happen.
  14. Like I said on paper its might be top 2 squad, but I would say maybe in reality it isn't. Maybe the owner and board overestimate how good this squad is. I already I would give him to end of November/November international football break in a normal football season. With the World Cup in November Maybe that being the cut off point for Watford owner to decide on Edwards's future. Anyway, Watford have appointed Bilic now. Maybe he might be out by the World Cup 🤣
  15. Maybe on paper that squad is top 2 but so far, the players haven't performed like that, But the players get away with it again. I'm not saying give them 5 years but surely, they deserve more than 10 games to be given a chance to perform. Maybe end of November at least. I think that any managerial appointment deserved that unless it's competely and utter disaster. Watford and Edwards situation wasn't that. Same as Morrison at Cardiff. Huddersfield is closing in on their next head coach. Its not Wagner
  16. care to tell us why?
  17. 5 different head coaches/managers in the last 12 months with the Bilic appointment. Maybe the problem is the owner and lack of proper footballing plan by him, CEO and Sporting Director.
  18. and Watford are 10th and a point behind top 6. Hardly an awful start is considering that they appoint a young up and coming head coach to why don't clubs allow these head coaches more time and patience. I stand by that some clubs are far to trigger happy. Watford are now onto their 5th head coach in the last 12 months. Yes, their 5th head coach in 12 months. Utter and complete madness and I have zero sympathy for clubs like this. Maybe the problem is the Owner, Board and the players instead. Far too easy to sack head coaches and managers they don't. I am pleased that Rovers aren't like this and actually give some time and patience to their head coaches and managers appointments to get things right and to implement their ideas in tactics, style of play and coaching them I've also mentioned Norwich sticking with Farke and look at what he delivered for the club by given him time and patience. Broughton is right to mention it and for some unknown reasons you appear against him straight away
  19. I never once said We should appoint Wagner did I. My first choice Carvalhal then Farke. After that didn't really know who I want but I knew who I didn't want
  20. So, you think it's time to get rid of JDT do you? Thankfully Rovers have a proper footballing structure in place now and now we need to give some time and patience to JDT and the staff to implementing his tactics plans, style of play and coaching ideas across to the players. Rovers have a project and its time fans like you got behind it and understand what they are trying to do instead of potential want a change of head coach when we 7th in the league and we are going through transition part of the football side of club sadly people like you just don't get it!
  21. I said we need an experience head coach and I named Carvalhal, Farke and Wagner as 3 possibilities options but I named plenty of others Yes, I think he would poor choice for Huddersfield for several reasons, the way he walks away when tough got going, his spells are 2 clubs recently which he was sacked from, and I think they would be better going for young head coach like Manning from MK Dons or Mullin at Cambridge
  22. Watford have sacked Rob Edwards as their head coach and will appoint Bilic as replacement. Feel sorry for Edwards cos when you appoint a young head coach you need to get his time and patience to get the team understanding how he wants them to play. More and more clubs are far to trigger happy for me.
  23. Good start from Lancashire so far against Surrey
  24. I would spin it around and say how you know he wasn't? Watch the interviews, he fully explains things and how the process works for transfers which some people didn't understand or know how it works between him and JDT. He was open about 5 players out of 6 signings where players were tried to sign in early July. Shows that we have targets we wanted. Explained what happened with Van Der Berg.
