  1. Its a concern about the injuries regarding Brittain but I still rate him highly and one of the best right backs in the league He was our best player today. Rovers are looking for new players. Looking at the foreign market
  2. By default? we are 3rd cos we got 39 points on the board.
  3. Rovers will look to the European market in the January transfer window 'We are trying ' - Blackburn Rovers take transfer search overseas | Lancashire Telegraph
  4. You wanted a change of manager not Mowbray changing formation to improve results and performance. I said on the 16th of March I would move to back 4-2-3-1 formation cos 3 at the back wasn't working. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/35354-v-derby-county-h-15322/?do=findComment&comment=2304140 ❚❚ v Coventry City (a) - 2/4/22 - Page 9 - Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard - BRFCS.com - By Blackburn Rovers fans, for Blackburn Rovers fans. On the 23rd February, I wanted us to play 4-3-3 formation against Sheff United ❚❚ v Sheffield Utd (a) - 23/2/22 - Match Preview - Page 28 - Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard - BRFCS.com - By Blackburn Rovers fans, for Blackburn Rovers fans.
  5. He has played 14 games in 24 games is hardly always injured it. His last injury was unfortunate Our right back JRC today was our best player and he kept Jack Clarke in his pocket all game I don't think you will sign better full backs than we already have. Of course we should improved the quality of the squad all the time season after season
  6. 2 and half years more yet. More than happy with the current league position after 6 months of him in charge. Look at how long Farke took at Norwich to get it right there.
  7. I know the point you made but we aren't going to get a better right back than Brittain at our club. I rated him as one of the best right back in this league. Pickering at left back is a good enough at this level.
  8. Miller, I was right for weeks before the PNE game we needed a formation change. No unbelievable revisionism was needed. You wanted to stick with formation that wasn't working at all I don't want any odds thanks.
  9. I did. I don't we will sign better right back for this league than Brittain anyway
  10. we are 3rd in the league. Is that being out of his depth? I don't understand why fans aren't very happy with our league position when you consider the amount of playing staff changes and backroom staff changes that have happened in the last 6 months. Being 3rd now is well ahead where I thought we would be Look at last week game at Norwich compare to PNE game. Today we should have got a draw hadn't Travis done what he done
  11. Mowbray did plenty wrong last year Miller. simple as. Like not changing formations sooner than he did when it was far too late. Cost us our playoff place. Some of us were calling for formation change long before Mowbray like myself. Yet we are 3rd of the league despite all the above. So what formation and tactics would you like to see us play? We played 4-2-3-1 formation today and doesn't that suit our team?
  12. That who I think you meant. 18 months left on his contract Who says we only signed back up players. Didn't we sign Hyam and Morton this summer who are first names on the team sheet?
  13. maybe we should look at loaning Leeds right back Cody Drameh for rest of the season. Did very well at Cardiff last season do you mean Gustavo Hamer? only 5ft 6 but very good quality midfielder I would look at Ryan Hardie from Plymouth. 8 goals this season and out of contract in 6 months I believe.
  14. I agree. It was you who would have put Wharton or Phillips up front instead of Hirst not me. I think you play players in the correct positions and play a formation that suits the players. Ayala was useful in the Sunderland box granted but I just wish he got to the final cross cos Hirst would have had a tap up and we would got something from that game I think bringing Travis on and moving Buckley was mistake. I think Morton is very good player and when he plays well so do Rovers. Big fan of Gallagher and I think he is good player for us. If we do replace Hirst for example would any new striker signing get much game time if Gallagher is fit anyway
  15. I would take the striker Ryan Hardie from Plymouth. We are 3rd in the league so we must have some pace, creativity and goalscorers. We missed Dolan today
  16. We should sign players that fit how JDT wants to play and fit how squad. We shouldn't copying other teams.
  17. I agree Rev. You play players in the correct positions.
  18. Gutted about losing today's game. Deserved a point. Thought JRC and Pickering were very good at stopping Roberts and Clarke having much impact. Thought Hyam and Ayala did fine against Stewart. I didn't think we ever got going today in attacking sense. That was disappointed for me today. Travis should do better for the second game. I do wonder if we should have bought on Wharton or Phillips for Dack and gone to back 5 to make sure we at least get a point from this game. I am not disheartened by today result and we moved on to the next game and lets get's maximum points from the next 2 home games now. Surely you support the team regardless whether you rate the players or not? Morton is key part of how we play and he has been a good loan signing for me is Sam Burns is good enough for Championship? Hirst need a run of games to see whether he is good enough at this level but he is going to bit part player with Gallagher the main striker and that the right choice. Markanday isn't striker either
  19. Mowbray did it last season against Luton away when he put Ayala up front for the last few minutes
  20. Has Mowbray hack your account? JRC was very good at right back at Norwich.
  21. Hirst and Markanday are the ones with the chance and opportunity to change if need be. Time they shown the talent and ability they got.
  22. Let's get a win and 3 points from this game.
  23. Hedges in for Dolan. Phillips, Markanday and Garrett come onto the bench
  24. yes the account show that. Reading them shown this and Football finance expert Kieran Maguire has said this. That without the sale of Armstrong and selling the training ground to Venkys we would have falling fouls of the FFP rules. It is very simple to understand and Rovers have reduce the wage bill over the last 2 years aswell. (1) Kieran Maguire on Twitter: "Blackburn parent company Venkys London had £20m loss to year ended 31 March 2022 but profits on sale of Armstrong and property assets to another Venky’s company turned this into a small profit #Rovers https://t.co/gQP6wriY78" / Twitter Surely we would need to bring in left side attacking player to replace BBD directly? I also don't subscribe to the notion that getting promote specifically this season cos BBD might leave in the summer. No club offered an amount we deems suitable to accept the offer. Now we have the new recruitment team in place we will hopefully be scouting for possible replacements for BBD whether it's attacking left side player or striker or both. Most of the recruitment team weren't in place during the first transfer window so I would say unfair to judge them on that. Gus Williams came in very late in July, Luke Griffin arrived in October as our head of European scouting, Luke Evans arrived in October as our head of Data Scouting. Only Tom Sutton joined in the summer. So I think it would be very unwise and unfair to pin any blame on the recruitment team that most weren't in place at that time. Surely you will accept it that? JDT has been here 6 months and we are 3rd in the league. Its been a great start and beyond my expectations for this season. JDT is working the league out and how he wants them to play and who fits that and not.
  25. This style of football has us 3rd so far so I would say we have more than reasonable chance of being in the playoffs picture come end of the season.
