It's just not just about prices but about quality and what's on offer there. The last 2 home games I've visited the Footy curry stall next to club shop. Been very good and tasty. I recommend anyone visiting it if you like Indian Food. It's been something I've wanted for ages different range of food whether Indian food, pizza slices, etc. Good to see the club doing this now Great meal that 😉 -

Brittain, Hyam, Hirst for me. Want to see Mola play first before we can comment. I want to see Szmodics before deciding. Hirst is lacking match fitness as JDT said in the local media. Rovers will sign him if he proves his worth by performances. -

I rather put the money into the club then some fake shirt website. These are memories for your lad. -
Well it's good news for us cos BBD is still here and no club offered what Rovers wanted. I stand by my valuation and there reasons. I think Rovers reasons will be similar.

JDT wants promotion and to make a PL club again -
Yes, exactly what I said.

I think I have fully explained the reasons Why he is worth to us
-
I think he is worth more than 10 million that Fulham which was reported as 6m up front with 4m in add-on's Which I'm pleased we rejected it. I have posted 4 factors why I think he is worth more
-
when have the owners ever stop any contract offers from being made to players? GB has done very good work on getting Buckley tied down to a 5-year contract and I expect more signing new contracts here. We were right to stick to our asking price for BBD and clubs knew what that was weeks and months ago. We shouldn't be bullied into accept lower offers when that player is worth much more. We were right to turned down the 10 mil has it was way short of what our price was and the 4 factors I have mentioned several times. BBD might still sign a new contract here and I'm sure Rovers have engage in talks with him and his agent already over a possible new contract. I still he will sign a pre contract with a club in Spain in January in my opinion but there is still a chance he might stay here. BBD might still leave in January on a perm deal. None of us know what is happening with the BBD and his future. Why was our asking price vastly inflated fee for BBD?
-
didn't we give new contracts to Lewis Travis, Thomas Kaminski and Sam Gallagher last season. Owners should always be involved and the end of the day the final decision lays with them and that how most clubs are run whether its Rovers, Leicester or Arsenal or Fleetwood or Accy Stanley. What owners' stubbornness have shown that they won't be bullied by other clubs offering lower offers for our key players whether it was Phil Jones, Jordan Rovers, Rudy Gestede, Adam Armstrong or BBD. Are you saying we should have accepted Fulham bid on the last day of 6 mil plus 4 mil in add on for BBD?

Jake Butty's contract situation is mentioned in the article

Most of us assets are under contract for 3 years now as the below link shows. https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1143605499?-11198:839 2023: Joe Hilton, Jordan Eastham, Daniel Ayala, Sam Barnes, Ash Phillips, Jared Harlock, Ben Brereton, Dan Butterworth, Jack Vale 2024: Aynsley Pears, Joe Rankin-Costello, Bradley Dack 2025: Thomas Kaminski, James Brown, Dominic Hyam, Scott Wharton, Hayden Carter, Harry Pickering, Tayo Edun, Adam Wharton, Jake Garrett, Tyrhys Dolan, Sam Gallagher, Harry Leonard 2026: Callum Brittain, Lewis Travis, Dilan Markanday, Ryan Hedges, Sam Szmodics 2027: John Buckley I would like to new contracts Joe Hilton, Sam Barnes, Ash Phillips and Jack Vale in the coming weeks and months. On BBD situation, I and others have said that no club came close to our asking price and we rightly didn't accept low offers from Fulham(6mil with 4 mil in add on's), Nice and Sevilla(8.4 million offer), so why would we sell when you consider these 4 factors, which are he is key player for this team, bringing in a suitable replacement, he has just scored 22 goals last season and he is Chilean international where he has scored important goals at that level. Also, why are people still mentioning the Nyambe, Rothwell and Lenihan situation why it's been explained fully on here

Gregg Broughton said we have healthy budget for a club with no Premier League parachute payments, and it wasn't relied on Ben Brereton-Diaz being sold. So that has been delivered

I would if VAR stop getting involved so much. Yesterday Arsenal goal should have stood. Ref had a clear foul of it and bollocks. Also the time it's take is far too long. 3 or 4 minutes to make a simple decision is a joke. Plus no communication to fans which everyone always overlook. I don't like VAR one bit and I said it shouldn't come in for several different reasons including time to make decision, still someone opinion its bases on. It can't be cricket where it a defo decision -

Look at the point we were talking about. When we upped our tempo, we played much better. Higher tempo and we causes problems. Like I said, playing a long ball down the side is ok and Hirst has a couple of good moment when the ball when played down the sides like the first few minutes and just before he was subbed. Playing a long ball near their centre backs is a waste in my opinion -

He had a very good game at Blackpool, I wouldn't have moved him before yesterday based on performance of that game, Yes I would have moved Travis in midfield at Half time cos of Adam Wharton been booked so early on meant that he couldn't make a tackle during the game or would be taking a huge risk if he miss time one. Moving Buckley to right back. Taking Dack was the right decision. I have already explained about the midfield in a previous post. Having Vale involved wasn't wrong and Why you are so obsessed with beating Jack Vale with his 10-game spell at Halifax when he has shown in performances this season why he should be part of this first team squad! I wouldn't brought Mola on in this game at that time. I will continue to keep trotting out the cliches and if you have a problem then you are more than free to move on from the post. If you haven't seen any big signs of the style of play then that's down to yourself I would say. We created 5 or 6 good chances on Saturday, Dack and Hedges with good chances in the first few minutes, Hirst later that first half, Dolan and BBD goals and Jack Vale had a chance he should have done miles better with. I wouldn't say that you don't often have a favourite 11 these days cos it's a squad game and you need a squad especially at this level. We have kept 3 clean sheets in 8 games, but our biggest problem is when a team either press us high against us or has lots of movements in my opinion. Agreed on the set pieces. As I have said more than one to yourself, some fans can see signs of progression if you can't fine but plenty of us can. -

better view? He has a clear view of the incident so VAR shouldn't get involved so hopefully Howard Webb will sort it out. It wasn't a foul in a month of Sundays -

I will continue to post about patience and time for JDT, especially when fans aren't given that and some unwarranted criticism. I can see signs of progression under JDT(if you can't then that down to yourself) but its work in progress and has JDT has said what it will be until the team fully understand how he wants to play, and we keep learn and developing under him We had 3 offers for BBD and 2 bids of 8.4 mil and one from Fulham which was 6 mil plus 4 mil in add on, so I don't see why you won't accept that considering you have no other info to dispute this. No one was paying anymore for him, so Rovers was right to keep him considering the 4 factors I posted to yourself last week You don't try time after time when you don't have the team for that tactic. You play to your strengths. Buckley can play right back and I would have put him there instead of Travis at half time. I disagree that the whole performance was abject, and we didn't improve at all. We look better in the second half and we have a couple good moments in the first half. Had we taken those 3 chances the game and result might have been very different. -

I made this point this morning in a post but time after people in the VAR room make the wrong decision, this is why I wanted to see ex pros being managers or footballers brought into the VAR room. Also, I think Howard Webb has massive job when he comes in December. This need sort out properly and some proper communication to fans is needed. We see it in 3 games yesterday where VAR made the wrong decision in 2 of them and third one at Forest where the ref ha the balls to stand by his original decision and good on him. VAR got involved in a decision where the ref had a clear and not obstruct view of the incident. So, the ref in real time didn't think it was foul so he should have stuck with that decision. -

Dolan isn't wing back for started and they would have got in more than they did. So you would take Hirst off then? at half time when Buckley and Dolan were going through their warmup, I thought that Adam Wharton and Dack would go off. That the 2 players I would taken off at half time. Move Buckley to right back and Travis back into Midfield with Dolan on the right and Hedges into the 10 role. When Vale came on, I said I would took off Adam Wharton and gone front 2 with BBD and Dolan wide. Given their back 5 more problems and press higher. For me, the 4-2-3-1 formation wasn't the problem but defensively we could live with their front 3 or their wing backs going forward. Plenty of movement by their front 3. I would go with the same formation at Wigan I think it would be very different game had we scored first tho
