  1. How was their crazy ridiculous calculations when I shown how I worked it out and based on the budget left form January and and the wages saved from players who left? I said 4 to 5 million football budget. We don't know if Covid-19 has impact the budget the owners have given Mowbray this transfer window or not? Unless you know for sure its all assessments and opinions
  2. Fisher isn't good enough. He went on loan last season and never played a league game at league 1 and 2 level. He is 22 years old and never played a 1st league team game here. If he was good enough he would be playing us or at least number 2 here. I think Hilton is much better based on what I have seen. I said for 2 years that Fisher need 1st team football. He never had it, so doesn't develop. He needs to go and play at a club regular same as Hilton does not, with Eastham the under 23's keeper We have different options and the future looks good. Armstrong isn't wide player by trade he is striker who is goal machine.
  3. This isn't what Mowbray said at all. Mowbray exactly words was" I haven't had full clarity on it" what is different to no Clarity. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18601936.downing-contract-expires-mowbray-waits-venkys-decision/
  4. All opinions Mercer. Life is as simple as you make it especially with finances. More Pure speculation and assessments yet. Have you got one right so far when given those sort of opinions? Can't think of one. The club, Waggott or Mowbray doesn't needs to come out and say anything about the Budget at all. Why let anyone know? Does any other managers come out and say anything about their budget? Of Course Mowbray has a football budget for the season. Thats why we have been enquiring and making offers for players past couple of weeks. So if we had no budget why are we buying a keeper for a fee and wages then? There is no evidence to support your 90% claim that Mowbray might have been told he has bring in a net 15 million. Would be ideal move for him to Fleetwood. He lives in Wrea Green so ideal move. interesting. Not seen much of him either. Joe have you gone any stats on him and his performances so we can have a look them please? Have you seen any stats on him? is he any good? Never seen play or seen any really stats on him apart from appearances and goals conceded
  5. Watched the full game so thanks for Rovers for that facility on to enable fans to watch. Good run out for the players who have been only back a week in training so wasn't expect too much today. Players who stood out where Chapman, Armstrong, Dolan. Armstrong does what he does best and scores goal. Exactly why he needs to play as striker and not as a winger. Dolan looks an exciting prospect and looks like the penny has finally drop with Chapman and he's wants to part of this first team going forward Fisher was awful and shown why I said he isn't good enough to part of first team here. Eastham much better and more confidence. Very surprise Joe Hilton didn't get a go today. Interesting that Mowbray stuck to his 4-3-3 system but adapt to playing a main striker as the 9 not has a false 9.
  6. Statement from the club about Ewood Park The club cite a lack of staff as the reason why Ewood has not been maintained, but insist that the necessary work will be undertaken to ensure that the ground is in pristine condition ahead of the new campaign. A statement from the club read: "Due to limited staff on site and priority given to other projects during the lockdown period, we are aware that certain areas of the stadium require attention and maintenance to those areas will be carried out over the coming days to ensure that Ewood Park is looking at its best ahead of our first competitive game of the season on Doncaster Rovers on Saturday August 29th." https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-ewood-park-condition-18810198
  7. The foriegn market is where the value for money is for players.. Rovers using the European scouting network finally
  8. No my calculations were logical. I didn't say we would spend 5 million pounds on players..I said we have 5 millions pounds football budget on players fees and wages. On Vaccine ready by September comment from scientists at Oxford university. Check back and see what they said
  9. FFP are being lifted and salary cap of 20 millions according to someone on here. Why would pitch maintenance be part of FFP? How can we afford 450k plus wages then for Thomas Kaminski?
  10. Well you don't what affect Covid-19 has had on the budget do you? Yet again another thing we don't know for sure. We don't what the budget is that the owners gave Mowbray or those discussions gone. But we have a keeper coming in from Gent for 450k plus wages. I've done a logical calculation of the budget we had in January and wages saved by releasing those players.
  11. No surprise as we have been advertising his role at the club. Played a major role in getting Dack back to his current level of fitness. It is simple. I've shown how you can have a 4 to 5 million pounds football budget which include transfers and wages fees
  12. 1.3 budget left from January, plus wages off the wage bill from Downing, Graham, Samuel, Smallwood, Leutwiler, Hart plus loans from Walton and Adarabioyo. Which I reckon is around 3 million(60k a week)off the budget IMO So there is 4 to 5 million budget.
  13. if people want an good goalkeeper coach in why not look at Bobby Mimms
  14. Or Kepa at Chelsea or Lloris at Spurs who have made massive mistakes last season
  15. My Apologises if my comments were wrong, it just appears that you went looking for something negative to shows his mistakes. Most keepers make mistakes like De Gea, Lloris and Kepa have made massive mistakes for their clubs. How experience are those keepers and playing at much higher level of football than us? I haven't seen him play but I don't watch much European football/competitions like you do watching Champions League, Europe League or Bundesliga whilst I watched none of it at all. Thought you might have seen some of him given the amount of European football you watch I agree with your point that his age and his pedigree is what we want at the club and as number 1 here. Its the age I suggest days ago we should be looking at and the market the club needs to shop in now looking for players in the European markets where transfer fees are reasonable and OTT like British players plus the wages will be more than reasonable. Its a market we need to shop in aswell as looking good players in UK but at reasonable fees and wages. Some British players wages are bloody ridiculous or the wage demands are. Read @RovingRover posts about the player. He has more knowledge of European football in the Countries we are likely to be looking at than myself who very little and can only look at stats of clean sheets of keepers and thats about it
  16. I told time after time How I would play but each and every time you just simply ignore it. well its time he improved his attacking side and more active in the assist column this coming season. Also we need to sort out whether we see him long term here and get a new contract or sell him and bring someone else in. Can't have another Marshall or King situation here
  17. How long ago was that match from? Its almost like you are looking for every negative you can find to put on any potential signing unless you suggest them? Like Fox or Chester. So how much of Thomas Kaminski have you actually seen? How much of the xGC data do you understand and can you explain what it actually means cos I don't know?
  18. here are some different clips from YouTube on Thomas Kaminski https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=thomas+kaminski
  19. But why don't Liverpool then? Exactly. We will have a football budget rather a transfer budget and wage budget like I said before. The reason why I say this is based on 2 posts from J^B who says its football or yearly budget. https://www.brfcs.com/mb/index.php?/forums/topic/34532-summer-transfer-window/&do=findComment&comment=2092009 https://www.brfcs.com/mb/index.php?/forums/topic/34174-january-transfer-window-2020/&do=findComment&comment=2033769 I would suggest we got no fee for Matty Platt
  20. You have no idea that's where the money came from. It's been reported for a couple of weeks we had a budget. Just people aren't willing to be patience and get it time to get the players in. We probably have 4 or 5 millions as football budget to be spent on the players. Whether 5 or 6 free transfers or a couple of deals around 500k plus wages, then a couple of free transfers. If FFP rules are being relax then it gives us more space.
  21. Thanks for sharing what you have heard. But surely the EFL should have sort out this salary cap and relaxing FFP rules weeks ago? The European market is well the value is for players in terms of fees and wages. We can't over pay for players. I think someone like O'Hara would be second keeper. Out of contract. Wont want big wages surely.
  22. anything to suggest that we have accept a bid for one of our players?
