  1. Look at the squad and how many players Mowbray has brought since coming through. Of Course Mowbray wanted Travis and Wharton otherwise they wouldn't be in the squad.
  2. Have I said I wouldn't give him a chance if appoint? maybe re read what I have posted like its unrealistic suggestion for the Rovers next manager and He wouldn;t be on My shortlist
  3. Wrong Roverandout. Its was terrible appointment on day 1 but I gave him a chance to prove me wrong which he miserably failed at.
  4. until we get there we won't know will we. But we are the championship and the focus should be bringing in a manager/head coach who will bring through our academy players into the first team squad whilst aiming for promotion. Dyche wouldn't be on my shortlist. Simple as. I will leave it on this subject
  5. wow 1 player. I think Lenihan and Travis are PL level for me.
  6. I think I have been very clear on Dyche coming to here and I wouldn't be in favour it. Don't think I can been anymore clear on my opinion.
  7. Rovers must win today. Come on Rovers. Just hoping for a good team selection today
  8. He wasn't relatively unknown at all Tyrone.
  9. I don't need to have a look at what respected football folk are saying Ian as I have already seen it but the Burnley ownership have made their decisions. Dyche is an unrealistic target for a number of reasons. One is wages he was paid there we don't paid them, 2 his payoff wouldn't be agree yet I would imagine, No Ian, That's what our club does is bring through our academy players into the first team squad. Also we aren't giving away two of our academy players at all but have been unable to agree terms with them which is very different point to the point you are making. don't confused the 2 issues Ian Please
  10. I will my reasons again why I am not surprised by the Dingles owners decisions one the financially impact on relegation on the ownership and club, two the results of the season, three the lack of performance of the Norwich away game.
  11. How is Steve Cooper a relatively unknown manager when he managed Swansea for 2 years and got them playoffs twice. Plus he had success has England's under 17 manager which won the FIFA under 17's world cup in 2017?
  12. Well we find out in 6 weeks time Has Stokes said he is currently not right mentally? I think Stokes would give on 50 over cricket and step back from bowling too much if he got the captain job. He did a great job of captaining the 50 over team in 3 games in 2020 The Mike Brearley days was 40 years ago. Like Mike Atherton said this morning those days are gone.
  13. well mention it to Waggott at the next fans forum meeting then if you honestly think it's a realistic suggestion to replace Mowbray in the summer? I think its very unrealistic suggestion
  14. Are we in the Premier League? do I miss that promotion? 😁 no The first team manager is resposible for bringing them through into the first team squad. If they pathway is block cos the first team manager has sign players already for that position. Think you need calm down and sit down and start think realistic about you thinking Dyche is a realistic suggestion? Rovers bringing through young and talent players into the first team squad is a major part of the club structure and footballing strategy
  15. So one player. If you think Dyche is a realistic suggestion to replace Mowbray then that's your opinion. I feel its very unrealistic and giddy suggestion do you honestly think its a realistic suggestion to replace Mowbray in the summer?
  16. why would Stokes be a disaster? any captain has been worth his selection in the team first. A county player wouldn't. I think its between Stokes and Board for the next Test Captain for the summer
  17. Didn't he do that cos of great friendship and respect for Joe Root
  18. well those wages rules him out from coming here
  19. Dyche is another unrealistic suggestion in my opinion I feel Struber is far more realistic just like the other names I have named over recent times.
  20. I wouldn't want Dyche here and I think people need to take a massive step back and would Dyche actually be a good fit for the club. Far too many of you are getting giddy over him. Plus given that Dyche was on 4 million pounds a season, do you honest think he would come here and for most likely less that wage? At Rovers developing young players and bringing through players from our Academy is major part of our football and transfer strategy here. So we need a manager or head coach who fits the profile. What players has Dyche brought through their? anyone?
  21. Honest answer I don't know. I just posted the report that linked him with the move there
  22. That's a good point about Allardyce. I am expecting an wide left appointment possibly foreign. A falling out wouldn't surprised but I think its more to do with the financially impact of relegation and the current owners knowing it would be melt down possible. No The sacking doesn't surprised for a number of reasons, one the financially impact on relegation on the ownership and club, two the results of the season, three the lack of performance of the Norwich away game. Like I said previously, I was talking to some Burnley fans at Christmas time who wanted him gone and felt a change was needed if they were going to stay up and felt the situation had gone stale.
  23. I don't think the current owners can given up the PL status given the massive football financially impact on the club!
  24. If Rovers wanted to go down the foreign route why not look at ex Barnsley head coach and currently New York Red Bulls head coach Gerhard Struber. Knows the Championship and did a good job at Barnsley
  25. Given the timing I would suspect you are advance talks with someone who is coming in after the West Ham and thats why Dyche has gone. Who that person Is I don't know. Would you be happy with Allardyce if he was appoint? I don't see an obvious candidate for you
