  1. Armstrong has played up front like Hull away with Dack earlier in the season. Armstrong SHOULD be playing up front. He is striker not wide player
  2. Fulham looked very good tonight. Some good football played by them. Cardiff lacking that quality striker up front. Cardiff wont be making the playoffs final now
  3. There is more than one way to play football at this level and achieve results at this level. Leeds and WBA won't be IMO. Was Norwich budget bigger than ours when they got promotion? We can't matched Leeds or WBA wage bill
  4. different players. Bowen isn't a striker. Armstrong is
  5. Or Just ask Leeds or WBA or Norwich who play Football and get out of this division.
  6. Youi can have both IMO. If we are going to be more attacking possession based side then we need to improve our full backs going forward. You can have a good ball playing centre back who can defend properly aswell. Look at Hector at Fulham. I would look at Rob Dickie at Oxford. rated at Oxford by football league reporters and journalists. I Would like us look at Ayala. Ex Boro defender. I wouldn't be surprise if Mowbray and scouts have a look or looking at Barcelona B defender Chumi. 21 years old Spanish centre back. Out of contract
  7. You are big fan of Hugill aren't you? Like I said before, Armstrong need to be careful on his decision if there is one as we seen players move to PL clubs then sit on the bench or not play at all like Hugilll at West Ham or Gayle at Palace
  8. our Pen was clear cut, Another Raya mistake. I agree we have problem against Lower teams who bullied us in midfield then we stop controlling the games. Harris has done a very good job were Warnock couldn't get them going. His tactics are very simple and play to strength of that team. Still think they lack an Quality Striker and they don't have plan B as we found out against us
  9. Yes there is some good defenders available on free or for a low fee. I wanted us to sign Ajayi last summer. Would have been a top signing. We could have sign Webster from Ipswich when we got promoted instead we didn't. Didn't you mention John Egan as possible signing at that time? I never understood why Danny Ward moved to Leicester to be number 2 cos he wasn't going to replace Schmeichel as number 1 unless he left. Another career wasted so far by sitting on the bench there
  10. Armstrong's best 2 seasons have been come under Mowbray so he needs to be careful his decision to move if it happens. I would be making him the highest earner at the club.
  11. The Big Clubs have already got kind of super league in the European Champions League which is all about the big clubs and it shouldn't be called the champions league anyway No Stuart behind closed doors games shouldn't make it easy as clubs know they are nothing without fans in the stadiums cheering their team on
  12. Harris has done a good job but it isn't very watchable for their neutral fan. Mendez Laing is a quality player We took 4 points from Brentford which should have been 6 points without that dodgy penalty. Did you think we played defensive when we played them at Griffin Park?
  13. Armstrong is quality player and someone who we need to be building our team around and he needs a long term contract here
  14. not my point, but why we start playing 4-3-3 after the lockdown
  15. You why we move to 4-3-3 after lockdown. So why do we keep having to go over it time after time
  16. I wonder if we looking Heinz Lindner, a keeper who experience of Austria Bundesliga and German Bundesliga 2. 30 years old and out of contract. Plus 28 caps for Austria https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/heinz-lindner/profil/spieler/59082 here any some of his saves and goalkeeper moments https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=heinz+lindner&&view=detail&mid=4F2F18EC62D583D1D8B14F2F18EC62D583D1D8B1&&FORM=VRDGAR&ru=%2Fvideos%2Fsearch%3Fq%3Dheinz%2Blindner%26FORM%3DHDRSC3
  17. The players are used to Plan A apart from the new signings. I like 4-2-2-2 cos we have number 10's at the club. Agree on the false 9 thing.
  18. Yes I do think Carter played well against Reading. other fans said so on social media and on this site. Plus Sharpe and Crooke who the 2 local journalists who cover Rovers for the jobs. I think he will be at Premier League club next season on loan IMO
  19. linked with Sunderland in this morning press
  20. Yes, I want my wide players to not just to stick to touchline but roam inside and allow the full backs to overlap. I don't want them to be rigid but play with freedom like if Holtby or Rothwell start on the right or left to roam inside and link up with Dack or Armstrong more. Yes we play a natural some games like Chapman or a new signing of winger if Chapman moves. So I am happy to adapt the way we play 3 behind in certain games situations or opposition tactics Gallagher shouldn't be used in wide striker role. Yes you do need a plan B like WBA or Brentford have used this season. I have seen Brentford switch from 3-4-3 formation which they used earlier in the season into 4-3-3 formation now. WBA have switch from 4-3-3 system to 4-2-3-1. So IMO, plan B is important.
  21. I would expect Tosin to be either on City bench or on loan at Premier League team. On the Liverpool under 23's I would be surprise if we moved for Nathaniel Philips from Liverpool who has been on loan in Bundesliga 2 to Stuttgart. He played 19 times for them. Just like Bauer has helped Preston finish mid table. One thing you failed to mention that Raya wanted out of Rovers as he thought it was time to move on. A point is regular miss here. Raya's comments " “I think it was the right time for me to move on to a new challenge in my career and my life and it was the decision I made." https://www.thisislancashire.co.uk/sport/18059649.david-raya-interview-opens-reasons-rovers-exit/ That's 3 mistakes/errors I've seen make this season. I'm surely they have been others. Might not cost goals but still mistakes. I don't watch Brentford every game do I.
