  1. Well instead of ignoring FFP rules and our finances, do your working out like other fans have done. Not hard to do instead of your ignorance.. Not interested if you fall in line but you simply won't accept that the Armstrong's money is gone to stop the club going into embargo
  2. Brighton have been in contact with Blackburn Rovers over a potential deal for Ben Brereton Diaz. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/transfer-news/blackburn-rovers-brereton-diaz-brighton-22432590
  3. Come on Rovers! Good luck to every Rovers supporter who has made the journey to the game. Wish I could have gone but for several reasons I can't be there
  4. You will only know when he back playing proper football and can give his body a proper test.
  5. well having a some time to think of what would be best for Rovers and this season but also for Finances of the club and beyond this season it is very difficult decision for the club. If Brighton are willing to offer 20 million plus a sell on clause and Kharda or Van Hecke as part of the deal then thats a good deal for Brereton given that he has 18 months left on his contract and is unlikely to sign a new contract currently given the clubs interested in him. Brighton are chasing European football and people who think they will loan him back to us are dreaming as he would be starting games for Brighton and Graham Potter So the questions to the club(Owners, Waggott and Mowbray) is do we sell in January or keep him till the summer with the promise and guarantee that he can leave in the summer if we don't get promote? next question if we do sell in January or summer how much of the money we receive for Brereton will be spend to improve the overall quality of the squad and can we buy 3 or 4 players of quality including a replacement for Brereton. Some important questions to answers for the club, Brereton and his agent. What would I do? I undecided until some of those questions above are answer and we are better inform. I think Brereton is a quality player for Rovers and I was excited when we signed him cos I thought he would be good signing for Rovers and that has proved corrected. I really enjoyed watching the current set of players who give everything for the club, shirt and the fans.
  6. I doubt its a couple of grands a week that is the problem given thats we have been in talks for a number of months and nearly 12 months in some cases like Nyambe and Rothwell. How many more times do we have to say that Armstrong's money went towards keeping the club out of embargo and the club complying with FFP rules. Yes the wage budget has been cut fo this season but having run massively over the club turnover I think its has t be expected and correct We have seven players out of contract but no more than other clubs in this league
  7. Exactly one of the points I have been making and I personally experience of this cos the company I worked have had massive delay(nearly 6 months now) in uniform supply despite staff needed it and having to buy it out of their own money so they have uniform for weather. The company has repaid the money to the staff who bought they own. Personally I would be in favour of keeping the away kit at least for 2 seasons time period. I think this season 3rd shirt/kit should be next season away kit and then release the new home shirt only next season. JB, do you know what next season kits look like or been given any clues?
  8. Its 3 players actually as talks with Kaminski will take place next week I read today on Lancs Live. Mowbray and Waggott has said its down to money and whats their agents want and demanding for the players in the contract talks You just keep expecting the owners to keep throwing money at the club instead of the club being run financially properly and being less reliant on them. well you have actually by suggesting the club increase the wage budget to pay the players what they want. The club needs to stay in line with budgets set. These players have been offered improve contracts and given the financial reset within the championship are they going to get better contracts? Clubs like Huddersfield and Cardiff will be reducing their budget for next season if they don't get promote
  9. Has any fan to your knowledge haven't been able to get a shirt they want currently? There is still shirts available to buy in the club shop so anyone who wants one can still get one. well given the problems with supply from the far east currently affect the UK it could be weeks or months before we got any in plus also how have we not ordered enough? Its funny how some people will criticise the club at every opportunity. a few shirts sales is hardly going to increase the club income streams is it? The commercial team needs to increase the sponsorship and match day revenue through sensible pricing
  10. shouldn't need to wear in your seat given that its outside and given the weather people are wearing scarfs, snoods anyway no need for requirements on it
  11. easy to criticise the club for not offering more wages and not having proper wage structure. How do you know that its not fair and reasonable? should we be over paying players given the wage bill compare to our turnover is far too high?
  12. I agree there. It will takes weeks for Dack to get game fitness and I think anything from him in this current season is a bonus and we should be focus on taking it easy with him and don't expect much from him
  13. Looks like Neil Harris is the favourite for the Ipswich manager job
  14. Does it? cos you aren't willing or buying a shirt anyway so you don't know what we could sell or whether any fans have missed out on buying one? have you seen anyone who has said they have missed out? How is buying just 50 shirts each from Macron cost effective for them or for us given that they are coming from the far east I believe? More control over what?
  15. I would say we have significant increase the kit sales figures from last season to this current season and thats why I asked does anyone know the sale figures regarding this season kits sales compare to other seasons but it appears that no one who is criticise the club has this figure but will continue to criticise Rovers over this You never know how popular the new kits will be until they are unveil by the club. How are the stock level so wrong when the vast majority of fans who want the kits will have them already and we don't have any waste like trying to sell next season for example
  16. after listening to Mowbray talk about the contract offers and the fact is down to money leads me to ask what are their agents demands wage wise from us, Do they have other clubs line up from them and how far are Rovers improve contract offers away from what their agents demands. Yes Rovers have a wage structure in place and we should stick to it of course. Are Nyambe, Lenihan and Rothwell going to get better offers from other clubs given the financial reset at most championship clubs and clubs looking to reduce their wage bill post covid-19 now. I think its doubtful tbh
  17. thanks for the reply, it will be interesting time for your owners and Dyche to what they do in January and whether you sell one of 2 players to bring in a couple. How many players have you got out of contract this coming season and is there no sign of them committing to your club? it is going to be interesting few weeks at the bottom of PL and how it all plays out
  18. No way is Mowbray going to Ipswich at all. Why leave 4th in championship for a club in league 1? crazy talk
