Attendances: A cause for concern

Rovers launched a 17-game ticket, which seen an uptake of just under 200 supporters. -
Summer transfer window 2021.

Load of rubbish we don't have a decent structure behind the scenes. We haver head of recruitment and he has scouts and recruitment analysists in the recruitment team we have at the club. Would you like a list of them? All depends what their wage demands and agent demands. I am massive Rothwell fan and I would love him to stay but I don't see it happening. If neither will sign a new contracts then we need sell and replace them in January. -

I think Hayden Carter will make the game and I would start him there. Playing Joe Rankin-Costello after his injury problems would be a huge risk and not one I would do. Place on the bench for me why wouldn't Rovers supporters care about a game and attending games? -
I thought I would start a match day thread for tomorrow game, any going to the game? Sadly I'm not due work commitments but good journey to anyone going. What would people starting 11 be? Kaminski Carter Lenihan Van Hecke Edun Buckley Travis Rothwell Gallagher Brereton Dolan I wouldn't play any Nyambe, Ayala and Pickering as we got 3 games this week.

All depends on the wage demands of the player and agents in all truth. I'm not privy to any inside contract talks from these 3 players. Can't see it being a couple of grand the problem. Maybe higher demands judging from Waggott and Mowbray 's comments. On the players I mention, Souttar, Powell and Kenny are out of contract this summer. So we aren't talking big sums of money -

I would looking at Hearts centre defender John Souttar to replace Darragh Lenihan. Everton right back John-Jo Kenny to replace Ryan Nyambe maybe look at Burton's midfielder Daniel Powell to replace Joe Rothwell -

I would be offering Nyambe a contract around 8 to 10k a week and Rothwell around 12k a week. If they won't accept those terms then we need to sell them in January and bring in the players we need. Mowbray has said he doesn't get involved in the players contract terms negotiations but he does speak to the players over their role at the club. I believe its Waggott, Venus and Cheston in the contract talks with the player's agent He was one of the highest paid players at the club during his time here -

Like I said before, we lose the first year of our championship spending where we spent nearly 10 million pounds plus I expect Brereton and Kaminski will leave this season. I think we would be attractive option to a Chris Wilder given the scope he would have for his own signings, the stadium, training facilities and He would be allow to bring in own staff. Yes I think Ainsworth would be able to attract signings that would fit into his tactics and style of play.

I fully expect Mowbray will leave this season whether in the summer or sack during the season. Yes the new manager/head coach will need to make signings but that could attract a manager cos they will have decent budget and scope squad wise to bring in their own signings from day 1 of them coming in. Don't expect Waggott will leave either I fully expect that Nyambe and Rothwell will be gone in January transfer window and Brereton and Kaminski will be sold in the summer. Haven't we been over this before with yourself and others several times already now? Yes Rovers have slashed the wage bill this season and I would guess around 30 to 40% given the players we released and the loans we had last season. But thats doesn't mean you over paid players and we have no idea what the players demands are but we know from the club has offered them new improved deals. You know the reasons why we couldn't reinvest the Armstrong's money! Do we need to really to go over that again?

Carter has played there before as I stated but this is 3rd choice. Yes in a 25 man squad you should have 2 players for each position and you shouldn't need fill in's unless injuries and suspension played a part. -
Maybe listened to the full interview on Radio Lancs where the Football League paper got the quote from I guess. I heard it the interview on my way from Ewood Park. I didn't see it has criticism then and still don't

It wouldn't matter who would have been the CEO of Rovers that wanted to move and build a new training ground whether it would have been John Williams or Derek Shaw or Steve Waggott, I would have slammed those plans. Jack Walker build the Club training ground and academy ground at Brockhall and I believe it should remain there forever. The players that out of contract this summer and without club options for extra 12 months are Lenihan, Rothwell, Nyambe, Davenport, Magloire, Butterworth, Eastham, Johnson players who are out of contract this summer and with club 12 month option Brereton, Kaminski Players out of contract in summer 2023 are Ayala, Gallagher. Players out of contract in summer 2023 but with 12 month club option Dack, Travis, Stergiakis Look at most Championship clubs and most players in those squad will be out of contract in the next 2 years. So you have nothing but just guess work

All comes back to what you want. I would natural in each full back position and not players who can fill in. -

He was centre back/left back actually but we are talking about a legend of the game. Ideally you want a natural balance to a back 4 and that include a left foot at left back and right foot at right back
