  1. We need to sort out Pears and whether he will be fit for the 1st half of the season. I expected Chapman and Maglorie. Maglorie will sign a new contract before he loaned again. Chapman should have never been re signed. Butterworth and Vale need a loan out for me. The next 2 signings need to left back and Permanent striker. They are of plenty of Strikers will can sign and should have been scouting Not a fan of West Brom approach but I like that Ismael has selected his tactics to suit his players he has in his squad. why would it but we have Ayala who is injury probe and Wharton returning from Injury, So another centre back coming in as to be possible But would prefer someone who can play left back so you are covering 2 position with 1 signing
  2. England was excellent with the bowl after losing the toss. Anderson set the tempo for the team. Batting was good. Seems like England squad has sat down and Had some talks between all cos the team performance and bond was excellent and good to watch
  3. Our current EFL squad would have 23 EFL squad at the minute. 25 is the limt https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19534003.efl-squad-list-affect-blackburn-rovers-transfer-decisions/
  4. Looking forward to this game and hoping to go to it depending on work
  5. Ainsworth doing an excellent job at Wycombe
  6. Fair enough and I don't know why people wouldn't believe you.
  7. I think Mowbray has been fed up for a while now and probably since the Reading away game in all honest. I am still surprise he is in all honestly as I thought he would walk away after last season. But didn't. It would be interesting how Venkys spoke to these managers and who these were? Do you know who they were? I understand that and I have several friends who have walk away from the club due to the football decisions, family or work commitments or just move on to other things. So I do understand but they could have tried a more better recruitment plan for season tickets and try to attract more fans back to the club this season
  8. No I don't think he thought he would be here and I supposed he knows the club spoken to other managers to replace him with Why blame him? when Mowbray and Waggott job to manage the club and to sign players this summer. as Phili has said they present him a budget each season and he signs it off or not. Plus Venus need to go aswell Yes he can be blame for not replacing them and thats his and Pasha fault. Been mentioned on here by @Ewood Aceand I don't think would be the worst signing. You seen much of him? surely a better bet than someone like Obafemi or PL loan? why even go for Ben Davies in the first place when we knew his wages would be too high? Thats why Season tickets should have been around £230 to 250 pounds this season and cheaper match day ticket with most expensive being 25 pounds for Jack Walker top tier and 15 pounds for Blackburn End. Cheaper fans more fans surely?
  9. Yes the prices have been ludicrous for a while now and I have long time refuse food and drink inside the stadium. maybe for the daughter if she wants to but myself and others I go with we buy a burger from the burger van outside the Blackburn End which offered good quality food and its twice the quality of Rovers food. Drink wise, I buy mine from my local shop before the game
  10. Yes he is still here. He was in the director box on Saturday sat next to Pasha. But yes Steve should be coming out to explained where we are with FFP rules, lack of kits for sale in club shop, ground maintenance, targets for the season and etc.
  11. Thanks for info. Hope we get Healey from Toulouse if we don't get a permanent striker in then only 3 people to blame and not of it is the fault of the staff af the club or fans
  12. Any names who this striker target could be? And how much we looking to spend? I noticed Poveda didn't take number 7. I agree that our under 23's has some talent there but would they not benefit from first team football in league 1 or 2 like Carter and Wharton but didn't for Vale last season
  13. 2 posters have heard the same thing so not hearsay at all It's been over 6 months since I wanted gone for various reasons like tactics, not using certain players in right positions, no clear transfer strategy which is now costing us big time. Really? My view is value as much anyone in the fan base including yours.
  14. But we have of squad numbers and other positions we need filling like permanent striker, left back first. Wharton is back shortly and maybe look at defender who can right back aswell centre back so you got 2 positions cover by 1 player. Rather play JRC further forward Maybe we should have signed Armstrong's replacement last January and do some forward planning for once.
  15. Wasn't his wages around 40 to 50k a week tho?
  16. Another centre midfielder when we already got 6 players for 3 positions. I would say next positions we need is a permanent striker and left back. Centre back possible but don't want to Carter progress into our team block now. Same with Wharton. No surprise to be honest. More surprise we re sign him in the first place. Isn't Butterworth going on loan anyway to get regular football as planned? There is another 42 games to play yet and Buckley, Dolan, Davenport will get there chance. Would be crazy to turn down that deal. Think Dale would be good signing and given he can play anyone between the front 3 would be ideal. Could be next Armstrong we need. Plus fits the club aged restrictions if true.
  17. Thanks for sharing your info. Spot on. Is Waggott/Mowbray/club confident of signing a permanent striker replacement for Armstrong?. Can you share which managers we spoke to and why they rejected coming here? Give us more attacking options and seems to have good quality. Hopefully we use him properly in a wide righg role or number 10. Just need another 3 or 4 signings now
  18. Why would a Rovers fan post it then? Disagree. Mowbray has been backed everytime. You do like sticking up for him over. I think Mowbray has overrule his chief scout too many times and hence why he left. Why would Phili post these things if not true?
  19. Guess this is one of the reason why Stuart Harvey left cos Mowbray refuse to listen to him? do you have any names for each signing? Was the Pickering signing Mowbray decision or a decision made by the club following the recommendation of Harvey and recruitment department? thanks in advance
  20. I've not saying you have said recklessly spending but Mowbray lack of planning and proper organise transfer plan for each season has cost us. And it appears that him and Waggott screwed up this season budget. I think Mowbray was surprised he is still in a job but is this down to the club not able to bring in the right replacement. Didn't someone post that we spoke to Wilder, Neil and Nathan Jones this summer about replacing Mowbray. Can't remember who said it btw I hope we do sign a permanent replacement for Armstrong. I think Dale would be decent for a million or even Morris from Barnsley for a couple of million pounds I hope we have a new footballing structure at the club by next summer and new man in the dugout. Healthy kitty? Only after a similar budget to what Mowbray had in a season. Thats all. Invest it wisely and sensible. Surely Mowbray knew Armstrong would be gone this summer if we werent promote so why not look at buying a replacement for him last January. Whether he would got the finances to do so I don't know but surely some long term planning should have happen at club. Maybe having a Director of football with Head coach structure would served us much better.
  21. well Pasha was sat next to Waggott on Saturday at the game if my eyes are correct. Why doesn't Pasha recommend the removal of Waggott, Cheston and Mowbray from the club? Thats my point to RF99 that the Armstrong's sale hasn't bought enough money into the club for sign 4 or 5 permanent signings
