  1. I hope he sticking to playing us on the counter attacking as plan A. Think its suits our squad at the minute. In the age of squad number its very unrealistic to expect 1 to 11 being the starting lineup as players pick numbers for different reasons
  2. Can we meet Newcastle wage demands for him? He isn't a number 10 either
  3. on the Phillips's goal, we have caught by WBA counter attack. Yes he positional could have been better but everyone should be communicating. I thought he was very decent against Swansea. But yesterday I think ok/decent against one of the best 2 teams in this league Phillips mainly played as the main striker in the front 3 with Robinson on the right and Grant left. was surprised by that
  4. If we are going to continue to play more direct then a target man would be useful for us. One reason I mention Morris from Barnsley but he is out injured for 8 weeks now. If we wanted a striker who scores goals and has some decent pace(I am told) is Nisbat at Hibs. I will be watching the Hibs game today and we are supposedly interested in him. But we need a striker in this week. Dolan up front is not the answer long term Rovers need a striker in and I would like one in this week so he can be on the bench for the Boro away game. Could it not be overseas player who parents are his agent? and before anyone says could be Niklas Schmidt, its can't be cos he was playing for his club side yesterday. I agree that Carter should be part of the first team set up here and he has more enough so far to be part of this squad we don't know how Dack will come back firstly but this loan deal could be just for 6 months
  5. I'm just surprised how quickly the Forest fans turned on him on Wednesday and seems they like the tactics he is playing atm. Forest allowed their last manager to spend millions after millions last Summer then quickly sack him. Plus they have a new CEO in there so wonder whats his thoughts are
  6. Well we see but you said the same about Brereton tho. Now 3 goals in 4 games Obafemi ain't coming here. Time to move on from a player who didn't much interested in coming here. We have WASTED Enough time pursing him. Time to sign a striker who wants to be here. Plenty of good strikers out there. Suggested a few players recently on here. But down to sign the best striker who will score goals for.
  7. Forest play Derby Saturday dinner time.
  8. You aren't going to land a 25 goals striker unless we get lucky or spend loads. But we can bring in a striker who can 15 goals and other players like Brereton who got 3 goals in 4 games plus midfielders and defenders chip in plus conceded less.
  9. 6 million is double what I would pay at most.
  10. seems the shirt sizes are well out and seem small for a normal football shirt. Look like I won't be buying one then despite likely all 3 shirts for the first time in years
  11. Do you think we need a pacey striker in like Nisbet at Hibs or would a more a target man type like Morris from Barnsley be better option? Any views on Healey at Toulouse?
  12. I haven't seen the goal back yet on TV. I will watch it on Quest tonight. But yes i would expect 2 players on the D
  13. Thought Pickering did ok at left back against their attacking wing back Furlong. Would have preffered to get close to him but probably worried about Furlong beating him for pace
  14. not a fan of Kevin Gallagher at all on Radio Lancs. Mark Atkins is much better commentator and very enjoyable to listen to
  15. Surprised Sheffield United lost to Huddersfield. Preston got their first win today.
  16. Hughton suffered 4 defeats in 4 games at Forest. Wonder how much time he got there?
  17. Yes they were a few times the Blackburn End started singing Tony Mowbray's blue and white army as Tom as pointed We need a striker coming off the bench today. This is the main reason why I have been so criticised of Mowbray chasing Obafemi for over 2 weeks instead of moving on and bringing in a replacement with days of Armstrong going to Southampton
  18. Thanks for sharing your info You heard anything about signing a permanent striker to replace Armstrong?
  19. Rovers were beaten by what is a PL squad under a very good manager who has his way of playing. I was proud of the players who played their best of their ability and never stop working hard and for the shirt. We lack a couple of quality off the bench who could added to the game and change it for us and we might have took a point. Was surprised Mowbray opted for diamond midfield shape with Clarkson in the 10 role. He pass for the Rovers goal was classed and with the outside of the foot. Kaminski made a nurmous of good saves and we must renewed his contract as matter of urgency. Man of the match for us today Brereton now has 3 goals in 4 league games. Thought Carter, Brereton and Ayala had good games for us. I thought the Rovers fans today was outstanding and never stop backing the players who never stop themselves through singing, chanting and encouraging them. Huge credit to the fans who was there today
  20. With Dale surely you buying potential the same as Obafemi? I don't know much about Dale myself. Seen his goals and assists on YouTube. Look good but massive question can he step up, improve and score goals/assists. Have you seen much of him?
  21. You seen much of him? Could you see him becoming a striker long term.
  22. Left winger Is Kirk isn't he? Available at 600k isn't he?
  23. IMO, I expect a few signings. Expect a permanent signing for a couple of millions pounds. Then maybe permanent signing with a couple of loans signings. But I wonder who these players are who has been shown around the club. Anyone heard any names?
