  1. Who do you think they should realisic target then? I don't see realistic options right now to take over. I think they should realistic target PSG coach Pochettino and Ajax coach Ten Hag. I don't think they can get Allergi from Juventus or Ancelotti from Real Madrid. Plus Klopp or Pep or Tuchel aren't going their current PL job to take the United job. I don't seen what the problem is why Sir Alex Ferguson there. Surely it a help him being there. Proper football person around just like Bayern Munich have former Bayern keeper Oliver Kahn as CEO of Bayern or when a footballing legend Franz Beckenbauer as President for 15 years. Doesn't seem to harm that club over the last 25 years SAF is a major factor and player at the club I believe. I see him being around as a massive positive for the manager
  2. I think it probably more to do that the Glazers and Woodward don't want to make a decision. Plus didn't Woodward leave shortly his role as Chairman there so does he want of his last decision to be sacking Ole. Plus what does Bobby Charlton and Sir Alex think. Another factor is there a clear candidate to take over and is he currently available? probably not.
  3. Manchester United have no plans to replace manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite Saturday's defeat in the Manchester derby. There is no indication from the club that the Norwegian will lose his job during the November international break and, as things stand, he is expected to be in charge for their next Premier League game against Watford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer: No plans to replace Manchester United manager despite City defeat | Football News | Sky Sports
  4. well if Hughton and McCarthy tried to play abit more attacking football and different formation maybe they got better results meaning they wouldn't have been sacked.
  5. Favre and Fonesca has been linked with a number of PL clubs but never accept the job offer or been offered the job from those clubs.
  6. Well they would need to be appoint firstly and I don't think any of them would have lasted here as long as Mowbray. Forest fans had so got fed up with Hughton and his tactics, Boro fans at Warnock plus Gav posted from a Boro supporter friend. Mowbray has gained the owners trust clearly and it's seem important to them Yes Cardiff did get promoted in recent years. But managers like Warnock and McCarthy have a short shelve life before fans get bored of them and their tactics. I still wouldn;t want any of Warnock, McCarthy or Hughton here as Mowbray's replacement.
  7. FM22 is brilliant to play. Only started playing it since yesterday but really enjoying it
  8. Just watched the 1st season of the Newsroom on Sky Box sets. Brilliant series. Just season 2 and 3 to watch this week Then Billions series 5 to watch and then start to watch Succession season 1 and 2 in the next week before Rovers are back in action
  9. Looks like a good one to miss out on
  10. Lets see if Wilder can reproduce the goods now at Middlesbrough like he did at Sheffield United # Look at Hughton, McCarthy, Warnock all sacked this seasons who people wanted here
  11. Not interest in theorising what they might get wage wise from other clubs. They have been offered new improve contracts. an yes I am very interested who we signed here regardless who the manager is Yes he had Stuart Webber at Norwich who control everything. Webber has improve and grow the Scouting network since joining them Mike, You need to be very realistic who we can and should appoint. No chance of any of those 5 names coming here Other than the manager who else have they been supplying the club with
  12. What about these managers who have played for the club they managed like Conte at Juventus, Ancelotti at AC Milan, Howe at Bournemouth, Keegan at Newcastle, Guardiola at Barca. All had success at them I'm not surprise Dyche isn't even in the running as he isn't head coach type that Villa want. As others have said Dyche runs the show at the Dingles and he won't get that at most PL clubs Well they are in talks to bring Michael Emenalo as sporting director at the club who is a fan of Howe. Also he worked at Chelsea in a similar role there.
  13. Which he is head coach and was picked by Norwich Sporting Director Stuart Webber for the job.
  14. Martin left MK Dons for Swansea so he left for bigger club. Norwich need a head coach that fits their squad there got. Well he is former player and captain there during the Lambert years there so I imagine he would be popular there. I would want Lampard but I see Knutsen is the favourite for the Norwich head coach on Sky bet
  15. If we appoint a proper Sporting Director yes I am in favour of it. But not if we aren't
  16. There are key differences between the roles. A manager has complete control over his staff, transfers and player contracts unless, of course, they’re working under a meddling owner. While a head coach just trains and picks the team, with the owner or director of football taking the pressure off them by dealing with the rest. Pochettino once explained: “If you are the manager, you decide many things about the club. But if you are a head coach, your responsibility is to play better, try to improve the players and to get positive results. “At Southampton, I was a manager. My responsibility was not only to coach the team. With Tottenham, I am a head coach. A head coach is head of your department. My department is to train the team.”
  17. Alisson was woeful for Liverpool and couldnt deal with West Ham crosses.
  18. Wilder has been appointed manager by Boro. Not Head coach.. Dean Smith was Head coach at Villa and Brentford with Sporting Director in place. Dean Smih would be excellent choice to replace Mowbray with when that's happens. But I think he will take a few weeks holiday to recoup and rejuvenate himself They will want a proper break from football I would guess. There is a difference between head coach and manager.
  19. Won't both actually want a break from football?. Plus Farke can probably get a Job in the Bundesliga now and isn't he more like a head coach type anyway?.
  20. West Ham have been good today against Liverpool. Liverpool defending for the second goal was shocking
  21. Yes possible scenarios there but we have to see closer January time. If no club is bidding for a small fee then why reject our contract offer if no club is interest in them? Depends what we are asking for price wise. Also we can/should be targeting players to sign pre contract ourselves Or cheap fees to replace the ones we want rid off
  22. I disagree. It would be strong management by Rovers. The contract offers are there to be sign or not by them. Time for them to stick or twist. Their choice Already dress this by saying we sign their replacements 6 months early.
  23. We have offered them new improve contracts. Waggott has said they have offered 3 years contracts. on Brereton, he is very likely to be moving on this summer, and we have 12 club option on his deal just like Kaminski as well You could sign 2 players who are out of contract this summer like John Souttar from Hearts and Jon-Joe Kenny from Everton to replace both
  24. Well the club can force the players by not picking them in the 25 man squad meaning they won't play for the next 5 months. We have made them good improve contract offers to them. How do we replace them by signing their replacements 6 months early.
