  1. I think Bournemouth appointment of Scott Parker is a quite decent one and the fact he has taken his Fulham Coaching staff with him there. On the Fulham possible appointment of Silva, I don't know why they have decided to select him to take over there if its happens. I think its a big job there to get them back up next season.
  2. Has anyone seen St Johnstone Centre defender and Captain Jason Kerr play? any good? Supposedly available for 400k. Could we afford it?
  3. I agree that given Chapman a new 1 year is illogical. No idea. You mean when we were allow to watch the under 23's games in the 19/20 season before this pandemic hit the country? More BS from yourself again with thats first paragraph. what has the club official twitter posting Training videos and pictures got to with owt? Until the EFL makes a decision and stick by this how can the club explain the exact situation?
  4. at least 3 players in right back Dan Pike, Conor McBride and Hayden Carter all should be part of the squad this coming season. Depends how we set up and who the replacement is for Armstrong. Plus I think Squad has talent within it as well as experience. Just need a few signings like back up left back, centre back, centre midfielder and winger plus a replacement for Armstrong if he goes. Where do you think we will finish then?
  5. In a different position and league lower. He had an attitude problem and didnt performed well enough for the under 23 so never deserve a chance in the first team
  6. What more you want that the club cant register players until the club published their accounts on companies house website? Has the EFL comment on this matte
  7. Scott Parker left Fulham to join Bournemouth as their next head coach. With Fulham appointing Silva
  8. Havent we been over and over that Mowbray should be sack debate time after time. Do we need to again the transfer thread? Not a defensive midfielder player Hes played 782 mins of EFL trophy against teams in league 1 or 2 teams for their under 23's team. Decent player and add experience
  9. Wrong move by the club giving him a new contract. Wharton wont be fit until September time Exactly. Pike to back up Nyambe if he stays or new right back.
  10. I wonder if People think he getting sack or resigning cos there were no training pictures with him in them
  11. Allardyce wanted out of Rovers for 6 months prior to Venkys arriving as owners. Something people like yourself forget very easily
  12. Good to see. And most of them wont be missed. Bringing through more of our academy players is the way to go.
  13. That's why I was totally against any move by the club or owner to get rid off our academy.. On Raya, I was for the sale as far me he became too much of a liability like his mistakes against Birmingham City. If Nyambe isn't going to sign a new contract then we have to sell him and bring in a replacement. Dont see Armstrong being sold on the cheap.
  14. And we would lose our grade 1 academy status for sure, players would lose on the cheap, assets sold off..so that's isnt business sense is it?
  15. Pickering would be good signing for given what I've seen and watch of him. Shame we didnt sign him last summer instead of Douglas Yes it looks that way. So now we can make some quality signings.
  16. These shares are to Rovers accounts not Venkys London limited accounts
  17. Who says I accept it? Cos I dont keep repeating it daily or weekly just to keep up my post counts.
  18. Mowbray has his targets list already so what's stopping them? No excuses Accounts in and registering ban will be lift by end of the week so cant have any excuses not to get a couple of signings in before start of the season. But they must be quality signings not squad players which we dont need
  19. didn't we signed Ayala last summer on a permanent contract? Wharton is close to return to training Wharton: I'm in a good place | rovers.co.uk We have Pike so let him challenge him and is Nyambe staying beyond this season? cos he isn;t surely we have sell him and bring in a first choice right back doesn't I say a back up left back was needed? With Travis, Buckley, Rothwell, Johnson and Davenport already there as Centre midfielders and we played 3 man midfield than surely only 1 is needed. Then use the under 23's players to back that up On the right winger, we have Dolan, JRC or Brereton who can play there so I think Left footed left winger would be better suited for us
  20. Like I said plenty of reasons. All fairly obvious to most Rovers fans like a bigger club, PL league training facilities, Ewood Park, wages we could offer, Former Premier League champions, agree on Waggott. On Pasha, from what @J*Bposted before that Pasha runs Balaji Business interests with Babu but doesn't have the power to sack the manager without Balaji authorising it. Whilst I would prefer a CEO on the ground who engages with the fan base, has power to make decisions with authorisation from Balaji, etc its appears thats they will never allow that to happened.
  21. That's where I disagree Jack thats we are hopeless. Far from it.
  22. Plenty of good and logical reasons. But its people like yourself who want to talk our great club down and like we are hopeless club when we really aren't
  23. Hopefully by end of next week we have a signing in or two. But we don't need a load of signings for me. A centre back, back up left back, defensive midfielder and left side winger/forward. With possibly replacements for Armstrong or Nyambe if either are sold. Do we need much more? not for me. Mowbray has been back financially in terms of signings, transfer fees and wages.
