This is one of the main reasons why Mowbray has to go. He had 3 years of squad building and backing of 20 million pounds financially from the owners for transfer fees plus wages and we are no better off league position wise and there is some damming stats of Mowbray's squad this season. These being not scoring in 24 first half of games out of 41 leagues games, 1 win in 15 games, lack of goals of set pieces, the number of chances we created each game.

Our recruitment department would have idenfity the players we should be targeting but its down to Mowbray to choose his 1st choice signing for each position. Its huge summer for the club.

have you watch the 6 goals they conceded? would say any of them was his fault? He should maybe have done better in stopping or blocking the cross for the sixth goal

Yes he did to Andy Bayes as I have said several times on here. We improve last season. This season we havent improve and we have been awful at times as certain stats will tell you

Well he did say it as Bayes has said several times on Radio Lancs. He said to Sharpe this is the best squad he had assembled here and the expectations will be top 6. What more do you want? Why keep arguing about it when it's what the manager said Why keep telling this every time/day?

The same manager who said this squad is top 6 quality. This is his squad and after 3 years of backing we are 17th in the league. Mowbray needs sacking before the squad rebuild happens

Does he understand what it will take for us to get promotion from this league? Cant blame anyone for not wanting any limelight really can you. Or for not trusting many people in football

I agree we have to cash in with only 12 months left on his deal. I am assuming Stuart you want Mowbray replacing as manager. I've asked the Summer 2021 transfer thread is how we replace Armstrong's goals and how we go about it. Where do you think this squad should be in the league and is it top 6 quality as Mowbray said earlier in the season? How would you like to see us play tactical Stuart?

The biggest question after the manager question is how do we replace Armstrong's goals and does it require a different type of striker and different formation/style of play to get results need next season? Has anyone got any thoughts or opinions on this?

Similar to our 1st season at this level with Rhodes. Mowbray should have adapted his tactics and move to 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 during the season but he has failed to do so. But the main problem has been Mowbray failing to use the 12 million pounds he spent on Gallagher and Brereton and use that money to improve the overall strength of the team. Are you going be happy when we sell Armstrong this summer?

But Armstrong is a striker and not a winger tho Stuart. If Mowbray had sign a wide left player in our 1st season then Armstrong would have played up front more earlier

on the Mowbray, is he talking to the owners or to Pasha and Waggott? on Waggott, I can't think of one decision he has made that has major decision. Decisions on season tickets and cost are decide in Pune after talks with Waggott. Its should be get rid of Mowbray, bring in a new manager/head coach. Then sign some quality players this summer aswell as promote 3 or 4 players from the under like Dan Pike, Conor McBride, etc into the 1st team squad for next season
