Cheston said at the fans forum that he expect little activity in the transfer window. We have strong squad and some key players coming back from injury. Maybe a loan centre back might be available to come in but judging from Cheston's comments that's doesnt look likely

Rankin Costello will fill in at Right back when hes back. Lenihan has missed 7 games in the last 18 months due to Injury. Hardly injury prone is it? Left back should have been sorted by signing Ryan Manning permanent not loaning Douglas.

Cheston has already said finance arent there. I will be surprise if we make one signing.

Are you for really? There is zero chance of coming here. Dont need to even ask them. No CEO of a championship is going to ringing Pochettino up. That's was 30 years ago. Rovers could outbid most clubs back then. Now is very different times with Premier League money around in Money in England. I am happy with Mowbray as manager. I would give him this season with this squad. Then review at the end of the season. If you want a change of manager then that's your opinion and nothing wrong with that opinion. I do feel you need to be realistic with who Rovers could appoint. Would Mark Hughes manage in Championship? I dont know. Maybe look at Steve Cooper at Swansea or Lee Bowyer at Charlton or Mark Robin's at Coventry are far more realistic choices in my opinion. Foriegn options I can't suggest as I dont follow like I did 10 years ago.

I dont see any of above names coming here. Some of very unrealistic like Pochettino, Allegri, Sarri, Valverde, Jardim arent ever coming here in a month of Sundays Silva wont drop to Championship. Pearson had chance to here before and didnt come. Some others down to the wages we paid for managers. Reading's owners are very close to agent who got their current manager in. Look at how much Leeds paid to attract Bielsa? Wasnt around 6 million pounds? Do you Rovers doing this realistic?

Johnson is first team technical coach. Plus he works one and one with players, shows their clips of their games and what they should or could have done. When did Johnson say he has no interest in being a first team manager? Any link please?

This kind of response/comments is why I dont try to engage with other posters to try to change people opinions. Mowbray has done a very good job at this club. The owners trust him. Mowbray wants promotion here for sure and any comments otherwise are just wrong.

I wouldnt be replacing Mowbray right now. I believe we should allow Mowbray the season and review after the season ends. I don't believe we have stagnated under Mowbray has we have change the team and style of play. He has build one team that got us promotion from league 1 and maintained our championship status with direct style. Now we overhauled the style and change to attractive possession based style that's shows us more possession of the ball and creating chances and more shots than ever. Let's allow him the season and see whether we can get playoffs place

I totally agree 1000%. Others on the messageboard will disagree with me and you. I dont see you changing most of their minds anyway. If people want a change of manager then fair enough. I don't see a quick fix anywhere like If we appoint person x he will guarantee us promotion.
