  1. Thats your exactly attitude. Who knows what they are considering regarding the manager's future. They don't talk in public. Why does it matter that they havent attending a game in years since Appleton's first game. Plenty of owners are the same like Spurs owner Joe Lewis for example. Would they keep paying and funding the club if they didnt care?
  2. of course Manager plays a important part in results as well as the players. I agree defensive recruitment has cost us top 6. Think Andy Bayes was right when he said the squad isnt top 6 quality but its not 15th place. Mowbray has had more than enough time to build a season for top 6. Bringing the defenders we need as cost
  3. I remember it but I also remember going into School on the Monday after the game with such a great smile on my face Can you explain why you think this please?
  4. The league table would suggest so. Results would say so. Do you think we have top 6 squad under a different manager? We have all mention signing quality defenders for seasons now. Mowbray had 5 windows to get in a good quality centre backs whoever they were. People mention Michael Hector(myself suggestion), other people mention players like Pinnock, Jansson, etc. The lack of a right back back up option is also a problem. On Maglorie, Maybe we should have played him instead of these 2 young kids. We could have sign one experience centre back and played him with Maglorie.
  5. why? Waggott hasn't the power to sack Mowbray. That decision is with the owners. I remember that game very much and the goals and the performance like it was 2 minutes ago. After the time and the financial backing from the owners in terms of wages and transfer fees Mowbray should have the squad for top 6 and the ability to change tactics to Plan B. with attitude like yours why don't we just give up? Might aswell Of Course the owners will know the score and what is going on at the club. These are experience business people. It was mention on 606 on Saturday night with Savage and Sutton https://twitter.com/5liveSport/status/1363207775103426560?s=20
  6. Coyle was sacked by Rovers mid afternoon around 3.30pm Bowyer was sacked by Rovers in the evening just after 6pm if memory serves me correct.
  7. We are were we deserve to be. Results are the results. And they put points on the board not performances You can only sort the defence out when we have settle back 4 and not our 4 centre backs out injured. Maybe a different manager would but maybe he wouldnt. Like BBC Lancashire journalist Andy Bayes said at the weekend that this squad isnt top 6 quality
  8. We all have different ideas how we would play and what we like watching. Hes done an excellent job at Cardiff there tho think that squad suit him aswell. Fair play to him..
  9. Mowbray has had resources and backing from the owners since our promotion. This is his squad now. Yes we have good players but not good enough players for top 6 finish. He cant complained at all.
  10. For me it's either Mark Hughes or Danny Cowley. The 2 clear candidates for the Rovers job.. Hughes was brilliant here as manager and after being out of management so long he will have huge point to prove. Hughes with Bowen and Bellamy on his staff Cowley. Did a great job at Lincoln and did very well to keep Huddersfield up last season. Him and his brother Nicky Cowley would be good appointment for us
  11. You cannot blame injuries now when you knew these players have injuries Mowbray when you sign them or had them for a couple of seasons in the Rovers squad Travis and Dack injuries fair enough but not injury prone players
  12. Some good unemployed managers out there we could bring in tomorrow before the Coventry game
  13. You mean like it was when we sack Ince? Sense of its end of the road for Mowbray?
  14. Very disappointed result. Didn't watch the game so only seen highlights. We need a change for Manager.
  15. Dont think Mowbray is bother about money. Never seem Money motivated imo He walked away from Coventry with nothing.
  16. I think Mowbray is very close to walking out. Sounds fed up and like he had enough of the job now. Hes tried his best but cant take us to PL despite his best efforts
  17. Sorry I mistake there. I think we are close to Mowbray walking out. He looks fed up and his comments sounds like he enough of job.
  18. Dont think we are that close to Mowbray walking away here. Hes sound fed up and like he had enough of the job
  19. Sounds like Mowbray hasnt been involved much in the merge decision. Doesnt sound excited by the plans. Dont think he will be around when/if merge happens as manager
  20. We seen a few people staring he retiring but you think they are wide of the mark. Can you state why you Waggott isn't retiring?
  21. Its good that the local councillor in the Brockhall area sounds against the Rovers plan of building homes on the STC and building a new training complex at the Academy site. I would have thought the club would have hold interviews with local and national media(if they are interested) in this new project today. You would have thought they wouldn't wait to show off the digital plans of the new Training complex. The new Leicester training ground is state of the art and We should be looking to build a similar sort state of the art facilities. Not asking for 21 training pitches but we shouldn't be downsizing our training facilities if we are still aiming for the Premier League.
  22. In talks since yesterday. Announcement should be today mostly likely deal to end of the season.
  23. Lampard still getting paid his salary until the summer. 4 million pounds a season Howe is Palace shortlist to Hodgson in the summer
  24. Game on Sky Red Button My team Kaminski Bennett Lenihan Branthwaite Douglas Travis Davenport Dack Elliott Armstrong Dolan
