Wasnt in management at that time. ?

I meant elsewhere

He needs to play regularly and get his confidence back. Most of his games at Forest came under Warburton. Maybe he the type of person who can get the best out of him

Never played against Rovers. 6 games all season. Ben William's was good for us. Set to sign our 1st foreign signing if reports are to believe. Plus our scouts have been in Germany, Portugal and France. -

We have to see what happens. Depends what year 2 of our championship returns show financially. We need to start looking towards the foreign more and getting players cheaper than we paid for Brereton or Gallagher. I would imagine our summer signings will be free transfers and loans. With the bulk of them foreign players. -
Doesn't see properly tbh Thought you were on about else. Sorry my apologies

He moved to right back when Williams came on for Bennett

@Tyrone Shoelaces Ive seen you mention this Rochdale right back Luke Matheson in another thread, can you tell me why you were so impressive by him? -
I believe him and Mowbray have a good working relationship.

Villa are being linked with him. We need a new keeper this window and more long term aswell -
He has been out for while so he wont be rush back. I would play Armstrong and Chapman wide. Use their pace
-
I've always said that spell at Birmingham under Redknapp, Cotterill and Monk did zero for him as player and the type of football they were playing under those managers wasn't good enough. Like I said before Young players need to be really careful where they go on loan and the manager they are going to playing for.
-
We created chances today which was good to see from us in this 4-3-3 formation. I've told you my plans for January and that is sort that defence out 1st. So I have no idea where you keep telling me your January plans ideas cos you have told me often enough. I haven't forgotten pal. Like I said IMO, Armstrong was outstanding. constant threat every time he got the ball. Really good to see him so on form. Always going to be not the best game when it played after a busy Christmas period. Tyrone, have you read my comments about Gallagher in his thread? Depends on the coaching at Southampton and the clubs he been on loan he had.
-
Rankin-Costello wont be fit. Rothwell's trail run? one game? I would stick my team and the shape I picked. I am confident that we will get a result. Whatever shape we played on Saturday against Preston we need to be up for the battle and fight
-
I wouldn't say he was dreadful today or did I say this. He missed some very good chances especially the volley chance or the chip over the keeper. But he is getting into these positions but like I posted below his game development has stagnated for the past 2 years and it hasn't moved on from his loan spell here before. So he is in terms 2 or 3 years behind where he should be in terms of development and as player/striker. You seen this with Jack Clarke at Leeds on loan from Spurs or Roberts at Norwich from City where they haven't played, so they aren't developing their game enough. Gallagher problem for me, is the football he has played between his first spell here and now. The Birmingham spell did nothing for his game, development as player or confidence. Then spending his time at Southampton barely playing last year did nothing for him. That's why players have to be so very careful where they play their football and why they pick that club to join on loan or permanently.

We have to see if Nyambe is going to be fit enough for Saturday game. He just back in January doing some light training yesterday. Evans, Holtby and Rankin Costello are all currently injured. Maybe Evans will be fit this game Bennett going to be out for a while now
-
I thought us as an attacking team created alot of chances to score from but defensive wasn't good enough. But defensive was poor, Why no one didn't close down Crowley quickly no idea, and the same with the second goal. Plus the keeping from Luetwiler was pathetic for second goal. Thought Armstrong was outstanding today. I expect today will the last time we see Brereton in Rovers shirt this season. I agree with Mowbray's comments regarding Gallagher positional in the penalty box.
-
Sam Gallagher cant complained about the amount of chances he had today. He needs to work on his anticipation and finishing. As I was discussing today with a fellow Rovers game that his game hasn't improve since last time he was here. Still time for him to develop. Nowhere should we have paid 12 million on Gallagher and Brereton.
-
I totally agree with your post JB. I think we need to move him on. This move hasn't worked out for him and he doesn't look anything like the player Forest had. Maybe moving up here is just one big massive mistake. I did say that the summer we signed Brereton we should have gone for someone like Matt Smith who at Millwall now. Would thrive on these crosses and chances we are creating

just been catching up with the cricket. excellent bowling by Anderson, Broad and Bess. I did say yesterday that don't judge the pitch until both teams have batted on the pitch. Isn't has good as other people thoughts or even these so called experts in the commentators box. Think it was Rob Key who yesterday said this pitch isn't as good as people thought

admire you for being very honest on the board Stuart, so fair play to you.

I said a different fan site to this one. Alot of positive feedback on there. Solid at the back. Good mix in centre midfield. Pace wide. Made Rothwell the heartbeat of the team and he produce. Has he ever played the playmaker role for us? Barely. Armstrong who you slagged every week has more goals than last season already. Gallagher has had nothing much created for him chance wise as me and @PeteJD13 have discuss with you before. Chapman has been picked by myself cos with Dack injured I can move Rothwell inside so we can have pace either side.. -

Wrong pal. Play 4-3-3 and use Armstrong and Chapman pace wide. 3 man centre midfield of Evans, Travis and Rothwell. Posted my Preston team on different site. Recieve loads of positive feedback on my team -
Has Rothwell played the Midfield playmaker role at Rovers? Nope! I've would play the same formation and the team Ive picked in The Preston game yesterday. Got alot of positive feedback from Rovers fans on formation and majority of the team.. Dack injured. Move on. Find a new way to pick points.
