  1. I disagree completely. This is all on the owners. We’ve had this now with countless managers. They are the common theme. If a decent job came along in the industry you worked in, allowing you to flourish in your role, whilst working at a company that wasn’t appreciative of your skill set, you’d be off like a flash. We all would.
  2. Well, if Eustace goes, I won’t be stepping foot inside Ewood for a long time. My season ticket can gather dust until summer and then it won’t be renewed. Waggot and Pasha need removing, but- as a fan base- we seem to have no real direction with regards to how to go about doing it. The Rovers Trust need to up their game here, massively.
  3. Sorry, but I don’t buy him going, for the following reasons: 1) We’re sat in the top 6 and not a relegation place. Even if Venky’s and Waggot are terrible, we’re still in with a shout of going up. Does he really want a relegation scrap? 2) Derby haven’t a pot to piss in. My mate’s a Derby fan who’s said their owner’s no money to spend on players. He purchased it to literally save the club from going to the wall. 3) Derby sacked their manager after week of training and the closure of the transfer window. To me, that stinks of Birmingham. 4) He’s stuck with that dross that Paul Warne’s bought, with there being no window, if he goes. Even if he’s not entirely with happy with the squad here, some of them will be his squad. If he’s going, it’ll be summer.
  4. A really disappointing night. Individual player thoughts are : -Buckley- nowhere near good enough at this level. -Hedges- forgot he was on the pitch. -Cantwell- doesn’t look 100% right to me. -Dolan- the most appalling decision maker in that team. -Beck- struggled against the directness of Smith (I think he was called) which seems to be a common theme for the lad. He needs moving further forward, onto the wing. -Forshaw- probably the best appearance so far, even if it was for a short period. -Pears- questionable keeping. Time to give Toth another go. On another note- why the hell did we stop pushing forward after we equalised? We had them on the ropes. Eustace’s tactics and subs are at fault tonight for me.
  5. Unsure who designed it. I’ll try and have a go with editing it, when I’m away from work.
  6. That must be easy to do for any technical boffin, surely?
  7. We could do with taking a leaf out Blackpool’s book.
  8. I have to say, I thought that Bristol City’s game day set up was leagues ahead of ours. There were bars all around the outside of the ground, along with music being played over the tannoy, and there was some half time entertainment inside the ground, where the winning chap got a crate of cider for winning an inflatable race on the pitch. The club had a standing section too, with flags galore. These things aren’t that hard to sort. Waggot, Suhail and Venky’s have to be removed.
  9. Right then, how do we set about trying to remove this muppet and his sidekick (Suhail)? Whilst our owners are oblivious to what’s going on over in India (and I suspect is lapping everything up that the Geordie plonker is feeding them), Waggot attends every game, and can be got at.
  10. Questions have to be asked about training.
  11. The wings are on sale now, in the Blackburn End upper. We’re heading for our biggest league crowd in an awful long time- too long for that matter! I wonder if the upper tier tickets would sell if they available throughout the season.
  12. Apologies if this has already been posted, but I’ve recently bought an 1875 ST club membership. Does anyone know how to get to the points (from the purchase) added onto your account?
  13. The £9 million they got from Szmodics fee has been spent on wages. How do you think Cantwell’s (and the rest) wages have been covered? We’ve done what Allardyce did at Bolton, in this window.
  14. Someone mentioned 5 shots on target in 4 games. Not sure how true this is? It can’t be that far wrong though.
  15. Disagree about the transfer window. Whoever plays in that final third is going to struggle, based on the service they get. Eustace is completely at fault for this. We are for too negative, especially with someone like Cantwell in the team.
  16. All of Eustace, for me… and has been for the last few weeks. The bloke has no plan b if we go 1 down. I don’t think the squad’s that bad, but the way we’re setting up to play, is making everyone else look like world beaters.
  17. It’s the worst Dingle team I’ve seen in years, this. But… that does look like a Scott Parker side with how little creativity there was going forward. If you can get a decent forward and creative midfielder in before the weekend, I still think you’ll have a chance against Pears.
  18. 1 shot (that’s not been on target) from our neighbours. They’ve keep their shape and passed it around reasonably well, but they don’t look like scoring.
  19. Is anyone else concerned by how much Alan Nixon suddenly knows about our transfer dealings?
