We had to win at Bristol Rovers to have a chance of promotion to the 1st Division. It would have been back to back promotions under Howard Kendall. The problem was that PNE needed to stop Swansea winning at Deepdale...and... Just look at Faz's expression at full time...tells you the story in full.

As part of the BRFCS sponsorship package for Saffron Jordan, we have secured a matchworn shirt from Millie Chandarana #17 - signed by the squad & complete with a certificate of authenticity from Rovers. We would like it to go to a good home where it might be appreciated &/or used to raise funds for a good cause for instance. We were thinking it would be great to donate it to a junior football club in the East Lancashire area - that operates a girls team, for obvious reasons - & the club can then choose to frame & display it or raffle it off to raise money etc. If you are involved in junior football in Lancashire, fit the bill as described & would like to be considered for the shirt - please reply to this post below with contact details [Name, Club Name, Location, email address]. Meadowhall is miles away & you’d need to get a tram into the city centre. Plenty of street parking round the ground. Plenty of multi-storey c/ps in city centre. When I’m in the office, the APCOA on The Moor is my choice.
