  9. Next level analysis from Andy Watson & @JoeH here https://www.yumpu.com/s/jh1eUcfN2baru5YC
  10. It knackers your FFP calculation even more though because the expenditure has been advanced. Then you have to employ others (perhaps fewer & perhaps on lower salaries) to do the work so it's a double-whammy. Payback would take a while.
  11. I’ve got the retro Copa one already...cotton & sponsor free ?
  12. For what it’s worth Joe, I am steadfastly anti alcohol, gambling & vaping sponsors for sports clubs. Don’t expect everyone to agree or for that matter anyone to change their mind as a result of reading my opinion.
  13. 10Bet sponsorship ended so that explains lack of kits & will impact on Transfer kitty no doubt... https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18654444.rovers-hit-sponsorship-blow-10bet-agreement-ends/
  14. Didn’t we take his residency rights off him...only does away games now...?
  15. Entirely guesswork on my part but I think it was seen as a vehicle for brand marketing but once we dropped from the PL that rationale rather lost it’s I pact.
  16. The BRFCS podcast...we’ve been doing them for 3 years now...? *quietly sobs in a dark corner* https://www.brfcs.com/mb/index.php?/podcasts/
  17. They certainly COULD fund the club personally but they don’t as no individual loans/gifts/donations are shown in the accounts. If a director wants to gift money to the club, that money would have to flow through the company accounts somewhere & I see no evidence of it. @northernrover ‘s point on the podcast was that Venky’s core business isn’t immune from Covid impacts and so that might result in an across the board tightening of belts,,.which would include Rovers.
  18. In practice, it’s the other way round but essentially we are saying the same thing. Funds are loaned initially from the parent company to meet day to day working capital needs & at the end of each accounting period a proportion of that inter-company loan is converted into shares. As you say Venky’s can of course pull the plug any time as the principal debt is theirs which is why the auditors have to ask the directors to sign off the going concern statement in the accounts.
  19. The trading debts accrue in the BRFC company & BRFC's parent VLL converts a large portion of the debt into shares every year. It is pretty much what happened when JW owned Rovers. Ultimately, funds come from the group companies but arguably, the directors of the parent (i.e. the Raos) could take out lower dividends to allow funds to trickle down thus indirectly funding the group. If BRFC makes profit on an "investment" player, it needs a smaller handout from the parent.
  20. They've been around a while...designer is Emilio Sansolini who put out loads of concepts on Twitter...I think he did some stuff for Coolligan but now is behind this venture...some quality shirts on there. I er...already have a few...?
  21. The Football Town stuff is exactly the sort of stuff Rovers should be selling...missed opportunity
