  1. I am Tom’s lack of surprise as we concede first
  2. Great free kick from Fleming so expecting a standard win from the dingles I didn’t think sky sports showed goals from Saturday 3pm games live
  3. Have the TV rules changed? Put on sky sports and they showing the goals and action live from games, didn’t think they could do that still at 3pm
  4. Didn’t Ismael have Woodrow at Barnsley? Always a concern when a manager defaults to something from a previous job
  5. Oh wow you make a rod for your own back if you lose after a call like that - let’s hope it’s inspired
  6. Would be a real shame but we’ve done it for years, sadly it’s the way the food chain works, the real tragedy for us is how far down it we’ve needlessly found ourselves
  7. Wonder what the club will come back with this week, imagine they’ll triple down on ewood express type things and there will definitely be a twisting of words to the intended effect of everyone including the board need to be together and showing dissent in the stands will affect the team. I wonder which player they will try and roll out to take the hit on that one, maybe Yuki or Pape given they are favourites with the fans
  8. Very commendable and it’s right that each ‘group’ or unit will have their own place and plans and if it goes against your own it’s right to step away. I did the same with the fans forum 14 years or so ago as whilst I fully appreciated why they couldn’t take the stance I would have wanted to I wanted to do something different myself whilst having huge respect for those in it
  9. I think people need to know what they are there for as I’m not sure from the outside
  10. Brilliant well done everyone involved
  11. Warrington Rylands…..if that’s the best that’s on offer you have to ask questions
  12. Thanks Glen for coming back to the fore, people doubted you, and I myself stood behind your efforts too late last time. Hopefully we’ll have a unified front now, fancy another march from town hall? Remember when we joined with Blackpool for a cup game with their lot chanting not a penny more, seems apt for us now
  13. “With rising operational costs, including matchday expenses and essential stadium improvements, our new pricing structure has been carefully crafted to strike a balance between affordability for supporters and the club's long-term sustainability.” Did the same rhetoric come into play with Mr Waggott’s golden handshake increase?
  14. Looks like apart from the Jack Walker lower which is frozen the rest of the adult standard tickets are increased by £50 - a 14% increase on a Blackburn end adult ticket which is really the core offering
  15. What’s bonkers to me is that a new season ticket holder who ordered over the phone and wanted a card would pay £30 in Waggott taxes - £10 admin fee and £20 fee for having a physical card!
  16. Just checked the website for the first time in ages - it annoys me to an irrational degree that the results and the table both say ‘Blackburn’ instead of ‘Rovers’
  17. A very bizarre way of doing things
  18. I only got to see him live once which is part of why I was late to the party on his abilities Got to thank @Herbie6590 and @J*B as the ticket was on them, he scored that day as well!
  19. So by the same token it wasn’t ‘us’ that got a bad deal then? I think we got £5-£10m less than potentially we could have but there would have been a ceiling regardless whilst he was here (unless he got us promoted of course)
  20. Combined with ‘we have sold x amount more tickets than this time last year (when they weren’t on sale), record March sales!’
  21. I’ve complained before about how late we are to release so it’s good they are coming out early, not that I’m likely to be tempted by one but the pricing will be interesting; not sure why they didn’t just confirm now
  22. Fair play to Aynsley there, Trav as well seems to really want to make people feel valued when we see this sort of video
  23. Holt’s a bit of a dick and shown that openly in the last year or so. He may feel he has a legitimate gripe with the council but if you have been using a bar without the right permissions these things happen, hopefully they can resolve it though. I don’t venture to Whalley often but I did enjoy the Salvage Yard there and they’ve just closed up for almost identical reasons, neighbours complained about noise and it turns they didn’t have the right licence in place.
  24. Fair enough for finding an audience, I always feel old beyond my years when it comes to ‘watchalongs’ etc
