I worked in Preston for over a decade from 2001; never felt any rivalry at all, even when Jansen sealed promotion there it didn’t feel like getting one over on a rival. They were just another team. This manufactured rivalry is just bizarre to me. Anyway Friday night with a few beers watching the football, yet I’m not looking forward to it at all, the squad is looking seriously grim and feels like we are due for a bad Christmas period as always!
