  1. Bolton seem to be on for a 12:30 kick off as well
  2. It seems poor how often we have games called off compared to others but I’m perhaps naive, is it to do with the water not able to drain into the river when full? would covers not help?
  3. Yep on official site now - postponed
  4. This obviously isn’t normal weather it’s on the extreme end Hopefully be on, I’m nervously looking out my windows hoping there’s not too much damage in my garden!
  5. Can’t Park there mate
  6. Helpful for him I imagine, whilst his career is over he can now use the addiction angle to try and garner some sympathy and potentially muddy the waters of him parting ways
  7. Deleting twitter highlighted how terrible a job the Rovers media team do updating the website. There’s a preview on there but no word on if the game was concluded etc It’s properly basic stuff which we just don’t seem to care about these days
  8. Always thought he was a snake oil salesman (please don’t search back through the thread in case I ever contradicted that)
  9. In any industry really if it’s got potential to be high profile the legal team will review and often decide a settlement agreement is preferable as it’s full and final with non disclosure clauses. Resigning may be honourable but it’s also financially foolhardy
  10. Garrett reminds me of Willem Tomlinson, can sadly see his career going the same way
  11. Stupid international breaks, far too many! Ohashi is one to keep an eye on, he’s not had any real break for a long time and flying out with Japan may mean he starts the next game from the bench if he’s not fully right.
  12. Think he could have started to come under pressure if you’d not have won today, staying up in touching distance of the top two is a nice habit to have even when not playing superbly mind
  13. Big Mak offered nothing? He came on with 10 minutes left to be a bit of a spoiler, defend from the front and see the game out, whilst a couple of bits of hold up fizzled out he did ok with what he had to do I thought. Decent use of his limited talents
  14. Fantastic win; good performance to sign off on even if we made it nervy for a while, one daft sub put us under the cosh then the others steadied it up with one piece of magic
  15. ‘Made by’ doing some heavy lifting here. It’s an assist but conjured from nothing by Baker
  16. Did Yuki just turn and bow after being subbed? Does he always do that? Love it
  17. Surely no such thing on a penalty it’s odds against the keeper, he’s unlucky there. Ridiculous from JRC and a poor substitution
  18. Oh that’s another lovely goal, what a ball from Trav
  19. We’ve been great today, Cantwell still makes things tick even if he’s been a little wasteful twice he makes things happen, Ohashi has been class and Hedges really upped his game Pears is an idiot, twice in one move should have held the ball then when clearly the ref is warning him he continues to waste time for an obvious booking
  20. A goalkeeper having a great game and making saves isn’t about luck, and as others have said especially when we needed a keeper and many pointed to that one pre summer. Having said that I thought we were pretty good last night, some of the saves were great but others we shouldn’t have given him a chance with. Eustace needs to work on a plan though as he seems to lack ideas when chasing a game. Hedges has far far more minutes than he’s warranted as he’s just not contributing right now.
  21. Well at least he did head it into the ground
  22. I’m not a scout but I thought I saw something the first few games, in fact not rewriting history he was clumsy and awkward but WAS effective in those games, seemingly at this point more fluke than anything but still…
  23. Fucking hell just seen we are only 4 points off the bottom 3, we are heading that way for sure
