  1. Mid 80s Moorland were top of the tree, beat Pleckgate in the schools final on the hallowed turf in 1984. Captained by the best schoolboy midfielder at that time, Neil Otley, with the stardust added by the sublime talent of Craig Moss. We were some side I tell thee.
  2. Just catching up with this thread and think I've worked out who your younger brother is. Yes, he was bloody good.
  3. Stewart Downing in 4th. Let that one sink in.....
  4. Tommy Doc (Wolves manager at the time) got some real grief in that game....'who's up Mary Brown'
  5. I was on the DE enclosure that day, what a great game. Seem to remember Alan McInally warming up in front of us with what looked like a boiler suit on.
  6. The flip side there is that is with a couple of back to back results they can move up the table very quickly.
  7. Someone mentioned Jonson Clarke Harris of Peterborough earlier in the thread. I like him, think he's capable of a step up at least one level but, for me, not as good as his strike partner Smodicz. He's a better all round player for me but weighs in with his fair share of goals too.
  8. Should we set up a Zoom or Teams call to set out some sort of plan. As @Leonard Venkhatersays, there are people who report on what is said on here and our cards need to be held tight to our chests.
  9. I'm with you. I feel stupid being tricked into thinking I could hold a debate with you on the subject following your earlier inflammatory comment. I'll learn.
  10. Yes, maybe it does. That being the case you could potentially try to win hearts and minds on here seeing as we're such a tough crowd and not representative of the majority view. Outline all the positives and we'll go from there.
  11. Some might say, job done, as they disappear back into the shadows
  12. TM will be lording it over the possession stats. To be honest I think the only chance we have of getting rid of him is by hiring Henri Paul as his driver.
  13. Leave it on the HT screen, more chance that'll get you out of your seat
  14. He'll be bouncing up and down like an Easter bunny once the plans are approved, don't worry about that.
  15. As safe as new build 5 bedroom houses in the RV
  16. Seems to be a lot of roads leading to Colchester here. Jason De Vos is an interesting name to pop up too, did Mowbray ever manage him? Ah yes coached him at Ipswich.
  17. Hughesy putting himself right in the shop window there.
  18. Venky Homes, can you imagine the state of them? Mind you, it's plausible and makes financial sense for them.
  19. Exactamundo. The sooner we all get our heads around this the sooner we can combine our efforts towards the removal of these scumbags.
  20. Never said it. Nope. Never.
  21. I've just resorted to laughing at Douglas. Trust me, it helps.
  22. My initial comment was he is a level above anything we have. He is. He walks into our best 11.
