  1. Well I can see why there was such a clamour for Chapman's inclusion.....
  2. At any normal club the continuing selection of Bennett would get a manager sacked. The lad really is that bad.
  3. Bennett is a horrific footballer.
  4. A couple of points. Gallagher is weak as piss for a big bloke and we just haven't got the players to play out from the back against a press.
  5. Is a link from inside the club according to a poster who has given credible info previously not reputable enough for you?
  6. Blimey, I know it's Christmas but that's shocking behaviour from a so called professional.
  7. I have the feeling that the run of games without a defeat is about to turn into a run of games without a win.
  8. It's all a bit too predictable isn't it? In sight of the top 6, coming off a good run of results, 2 winnable home games to come and , as per, we see our arses and bang the handbrake on.
  9. I've no idea what the management see in Buckley but I hope to be proved wrong. That side is a damning indictment of how they view our 7 million pound marquee signing though. What a dropped bollock that was.
  10. Tell you what chaddy, stick your user name and the word 'stats' in the search function and then let's see who is obsessed with stats.
  11. Haven't got the players to cope with a press, we need to hit Graham and work off that
  12. Second best all over the park at the minute, seriously need to up their game.
  13. I seem to recall he played alongside either Kazim Richards, Nuno Gomez or Rochina early doors and then Gestede later on when he was at his most effective. I can hardly ever remember him leading the line on his own although I could be mistaken.
  14. Yes 3 great goals there and validating what we Rovers fans already know. He's a great penalty box finisher and he has to play in a front 2.
  15. Got to admit though I like 4-4-2 and there is still definitely a place for it in this age of weird and wonderful systems. The problem is, our best player in Dack, does not fit into such a system.
  16. Held back from commenting after the team selection but safe to say I wasn't particularly thrilled with it. However, that is a great result and really opens up the league for us now. Can't believe I'm typing this as these players looked 'gone' a few weeks ago, but I think we look as strong as any team in this league right now. There's absolutely no reason why we can't realistically think top 6 now and, for that, huge credit has to go to Mowbray - for the change in mindset as much as anything.
  17. For what it's worth I wouldn't blame Mowbray on this one. Dack is a grown up and should've known better than to give the ref a opportunity. He's also our best player and if there's one person in our team who could've exploited the extra space it was him so right to keep him on if we wanted the win.
  18. Apart from the goal which was an excellent piece of play we were far too passive and indecisive with the ball. The amount of times we broke but had absolutely no idea what to do once we got to the final third was frightening. A point isn't bad on the face of it but it feels like an opportunity lost as they were as poor as we were and there for the taking.
  19. Agreed. Seems to get the ball in space, drive forward for 10 yards, loses belief then goes sideways or backwards.
  20. Need to move the ball quicker, far too pedestrian here
  21. Blimey. We've just, like, completely stopped playing.
