  1. Reading living up to their billing as the worst team I've seen in this league by going 2 down inside 17 minutes. It beggars belief that we've given up 4 points to them.
  2. Exactly this. In every interview he talks about the set up like he's just taken on the job.
  3. So Rich Sharpe is not a journalist he's BRFCs press officer
  4. Clear as day yet you put him in your preferred pre match line up
  5. Tonight Matthew I'm going to be Paul Heaton from The Beautiful South
  6. The problem, as Jim alluded to in the match thread, is that fan apathy has already set in. This will quickly turn to anger if there is no improvement and when a manager loses the majority of fans there really is no way back.
  7. I'm sat here stunned after that. Reading are the worst side I've seen in a long time...as bad as some of the dross in L1 last season yet we go home with nothing. 2 defeats on the spin yet no reaction, no passion on or off the pitch and a general acceptance of season over all round. Amazing to think that at 2-0 against Brentford 2 games ago we were a point off the playoffs. TM needs to feel the pressure because this blasé approach has to be snapped out of. We need to be nasty, quick out of the blocks. Ruthless in the last third, decisive with the ball and tenacious without it and this needs pushing from the man in charge. Unfortunately his words and actions reflect someone in the comfort zone and that is no good. As has been said earlier in the thread, next season could be spent fighting relegation if there is no improvement in the fundamentals of the game.
  8. I like Mowbray, I really do but he has to be under pressure now due to his inability to rectify our obvious defensive frailties and soft underbelly.
  9. Ha haaaaaaaaaa.......football, bloody hell....
  10. Where the fuck is the passion and will to win?
  11. Bell wants bombing out of the club on this performance. If Mowbray has anything about him he'll have him by the throat in that changing room.
  12. Amari Bell giving an absolute masterclass in full back play here
  13. That's generally because they 'prove' themselves by getting promoted out of that league...or would you say you have to play at that level for 3 or more seasons to be proven? And I'm sure I'm not the only one to find your antogonistic tone annoying when 'debating'. You're certainly nowhere near bright enough to be as patronising as you try to be.
  14. Points wise we were. We were on a 4 game winning run, momentum was with us and a couple of players (money was available we're led to believe) could've really pushed us on. If we'd won our last 2 (which is not inconceivable given our prior form) we'd be 7th now, 1 point from the playoffs. Chance not taken for me...yet while we all celebrate being safe in the 2nd tier Mowbray will be happy to meander on.
  15. The decision not to strengthen key areas in January is looking more and more odd game by game. I read consolidation is the aim but surely if you're within touching distance of success (especially with no stand out teams at this level) you should aim as high as possible. Personally, I think TM is happy with what he's got and is frightened to death of high expectations which would come within the territory of spending a few quid.
  16. I tell you what was appalling, Boro's following. It looked like there were about 50 there.
  17. He'll have earned his crust if he keeps them up, if he doesn't he's toast.
  18. Need some bigger personalities in this team. Rolling over like this and getting bummed just isn't on.
  19. Blimey. Pessimistic me is back with a vengeance. It sounds like a TM tactical non-masterclass coupled with a complete lack of bottle.
  20. kin ell. I'm pessimism personified but even I'm starting to believe a little bit. Get in there!!
  21. I keep reading we may end up in a sticky spot if we don't pull off any signings. I'd say the opposite. Sorry Merce, no idea why it quoted you but to be fair I can't believe we've signed a lad from a pub that's been shut for over 10 years.
  22. Barracus? From the A team? Surely past it now, and he'd have to drive everywhere as he hates flying. Not for me.
  23. Fantastic result this. Could really set us up for a late charge at the playoffs. Got to hope TM just takes off the handbrake and goes for it in every game now.
