  1. A fit Anichebe is some player at this level, without doubt better than what we currently have. But he's never fit.
  2. Dominic Samuel has the same initials as Dog Shit. Coincidence?
  3. Reading have just brought this bloke on.
  4. Well that was a bit shite wasn't it? We're neat and tidy in possession but with no cutting edge. Crap out of possession and their midfield gets the wrong side of ours with ease. No chance this side has 3 goals in it so a draw is the very best we can hope for.
  5. Bolasie may well have lost confidence following his injury. One thing is for certain, he has the ability to run riot in this league if he rediscovers the form of a couple of seasons ago.
  6. Shades of his infamous 50 million warchest and signing of Riquelme back in the dark days. Expect a few retractions, twitter blockings and blaming in the next week or so when sod all happens.
  7. As opposed to building a squad around lazy players with no talent or skill? Yes, he's probably got a point.
  8. Yes, you've seen him a few times since we've been linked with him and , hey presto, suddenly rate him highly (thanks google and wiki). Bearing in mind your scattergun approach to mentioning potential targets just admit you'd never bloody heard of him.before. As far as I'm concerned I'm 'keeping my powder dry' and I'll believe and critique any big cash signing if (a big if) and when I see it.
  9. I worked with a guy called Brereton once, he was clueless. Just thought I'd drop that in.
  10. Sorry to be pedantic Tyrone but a one-off , by definition, only comes along once.
  11. Well at least he can nip down on to the front for his donuts while it's still summer season.
  12. And the asking price would've been circulated? That being the case why was our bid rejected? This Nixon tosh has more holes in it than Rab C Nesbitt's vest.
  13. Or other more desirable clubs bag him with a more attractive deal now they know Forest will sell. These days there are very few bids where the club accepts yet the player doesn't, before agent involvement it was more prevalent. I can't get away from if we'd really wanted him, we'd have stitched the personal stuff up , through his agent, beforehand.
  14. We should all know by now that clubs don't do the deals, agents do. That's why I find the 2 late 4 and 5 million pound leftfield bids so hard to take seriously. If we'd had these players on our A list then surely they'd have been sounded out well in advance? I'm pretty sure both bids were an exercise in fan appeasement. Unfortunately I sense a loan deal for the plodder Gallagher coming on - he most definitely is not the answer.
  15. I was beyond disappointed with the 'efforts' of Nuttall when he came on. For a young lad trying to make his mark to show such lethargy and lack of application is shocking. He needs bombing out quickly.
  16. I'm with you Jim. From what I've seen of him, I'm far from convinced.
  17. Garner is what's commonly known as a shithouse Len.
  18. Magennis, Donaldson and Lowe are all pony but the rest of those signings look interesting. Hobbs looked like he could be a real player when he was younger but is still only 29 so could be an astute signing.
  19. Unproven? Bamford has scored for fun fun in this league before. 7 million is overpriced but he's quality at Championship level. Especially when you consider Newcastle want 3 million for Armstrong who is most definitely unproven at this level.
  20. If true, that would be outstanding business
  21. I'm with you Al. Nyambe is a big strong boy with good athleticism. Unfortunately he's not got fundamental footballing intelligence or ability. He will be targetted big time next season.
  22. Eisa. That'd be a good investment. (nod to Stelling)
  23. Well at least they managed to snare J-Lo before all the big clubs dived in.
  24. Might not be a popular opinion on here but I give huge credit to Martinez for that. His 2 subs bag a goal apiece and change the game - fair play to him. Not many on here would've brought Chadli on but he goes and bags the winner.
