The Summer Transfer Window (Press Submit)
LDRover replied to RoversClitheroe's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This Bolton side wouldn't win a pub league. I'd be livid if I was a Wanderers fan today, the season coming down to this 90 minutes and they have been appalling and showed no desire at all. -

I'm pretty sure we'll be announcing Bombscare Billy as our first signing. Closely followed by fat Fleck. -
Agreed. Although I think the figure to spend might be £700k-£1m less than you reckon.

I do believe I called this a few weeks ago in this thread. The lad goes to Rossall and has been overlooked by every club in the area apart from one that is owned by a family friend. -

Reckon they'll be looking to exhume Trevor Francis -

I give it a couple of pages before Buckley is being touted as the second coming. Again. -
John Eustace - our head coach

Saw his interview on ITV last night where he said something along the lines of 'when I came in we were doomed'. Talk about building your part up. -

Indeed. Although I was delighted by the result at Leeds I couldn't help but feel embarrassed when the Rovers fans were singing "we are staying up" -

There's a lad (under 16) at one of the local private schools who has been ignored (rightly because he's shite) by all the local clubs coming on trial this week. Word is that he will get a year minimum at the academy as he is a friend of the family. -

Nope, and no assists either. He scored a few in the National League for Solihull Moors a couple of seasons ago but, believe me, the lad is crap. -

Seriously? Have you seen him play? He's one of the worst 'footballers' I have ever seen in my life. He makes Semir look like Haaland. -

Oh without a doubt. The points return has been abysmal, it can't be dressed up in any other way. -

I don't disagree but that's where a fine manager would get them performing above the sum of their parts. -

Yep. Extrapolated to a full season it's 49 points, a probable relegation as opposed to 43 points, a definite relegation. -

He has little ambition, he won't kick up a fuss when there's no money to spend or his better players are sold to keep the lights on, he'll never speak bad of the hierarchy regardless of how he gets shafted and he's happy to be in employment. He is most definitely the man. -

I don't disagree on JDT's latter games but, come on, 14 points from 15 games in Eustace's tenure is absolutely pitiful. -

Eustace will be bigging up the point gained against the cup semi finalists by his 'mentality monsters' -

Makes you wonder doesn't it? He will be the head physio there, not sure if that's the role he had here but it's still pretty damning on us. -

I posted about Gallagher showing well earlier in this thread, I apologise for that now, the lad is fucking abysmal, an embarrassment even. -

Agreed. He looks like a centre forward for a change today. -

Unbelievable result, where the hell was this heart and application on Wednesday?? Anyway, it's churlish of me to look backwards, got to say a point or 2 more and that'll be enough and a big sigh of relief. -

His best moment was in the second half, ball came into him, he mis-controlled it fortunately into space where he could gather it, looked wide to Brittain 10 yards away and punted it out for a throw in. And don't get me started on his 'attempt' to convert the cross early in the 2nd half from a yard out where he completely bottled out.
