  1. Ssn reporting he has signed for west ham on a deal til 2012,can't see any other report
  2. Did Kuqi, Dickov and co have pace, skill, awareness and were good in the air? Correct me if I am wrong but were they not on the wrong side of 20 when they joined us? Do you not think that if a player possessed the attributes described at the age of 20, then potentially they could be a top class player? I think it is daft to compare to the players mentioned as potentially Di Santo could be a world class player, if he was scoring goals then he would be a £15+ million player.
  3. Di santo may be a flop but he is only 20 and leading the line is a tough job,he has pace, skill, awareness and is good in the air with the right coaching he will come good. To right him off already is tripe and comparing him to dickov and kuqi is daft.
  4. People have short memories. He cost £300K? He and The Admiral were key in our battle against relegation when he arrived and for that Rovers fans should be grateful, ironically enough The Axe has ALWAYS been a premier league footballer!!
  5. You are of course right, it does not take much for them Muslims to get upset and it is also common knowledge when ONE Muslim voices an opinion he/she speaks on behalf of ALL Muslims, in the same way Mourinho speaks on behalf of all Non Muslims Seriously though loving the article, Mourinho has an opinion voices it (rightly so) and a newspaper creates a sensational headline, Muntari is fasting during Ramadan- that is his right, it is not obligatory for him, so maybe Inter need to speak to him about it, what did the bloke speaking on behalf of Muslims (!) say: "I think Mourinho could do with talking a little less," he said. "A player who practices Islam does not perform less on the pitch." WOW that is SOO controversial!
  6. Absolute legend, he will be truly missed, a gentleman.
  7. Joey Barton has shown that he is not capable of changing. Put aside all the assaults (which can I just add I find sad that some are downplaying someone stubbing a cigar in someones eye and assaulting a teenager), his behaviour on the field is poor. If (as some have already said), the manager of your club (the ones who have been paying your wages and supporting you whilst you were in prison), gives you a dressing down after being sent off, it defies belief that you start ranting off him!! What is going to happen if Sam tells him to play a certain position or gives him a rollocking? A wrong signing on so many different levels- and I will add that I was for the signing of El Hadj, we must judge each individual case.
  8. I have thought a lot about this and I think that Barton should not be at our club, regardless of his obvious talent. Diouf has been a s*** in the past but you cannot compare a spitter with someone who has stubbed someones eye out with a cigar or beaten up 15 year olds, this would not set a good benchmark for the club and I sincerely hope that JW has enough about him to simply say 'no' to Sam's request- if there is one.
