  1. Kretinsky only bought into West Ham this season. Each to their own but I want us back in the top table not in the the Championship or league one.
  2. You can't say we will never achieve anything higher than 10th. 3 or 4 seasons ago West ham were flirting with relegation last 2 seasons been challenging for and made the Europa League. Leicester went from a championship side to surviving a relegation battle to league champions. As previously mentioned Burnley qualified for Europe. Only chance we ever have of these con artists selling up is by being a premier league club. They will not walk away or sell at the level of debt owed to them ,it will just be further downsizing were costs become manageable. Going off your thinking you should want us back in league one where we won more often than not. By your thinking you must be happy we have fallen out of the playoffs? If you wouldn't be happy with us back in the premier league.
  3. If you win most weeks most likely you would be promoted to the Premier league anyway. Would you rather us go to league one as we won most weeks when in that division? The Premier League is the place to be
  4. If we were a Premier League club would Pickering be first choice left back?Who knows I'd rather a relegation battle in the top league than finishing 10th-15th in the Championship which has been our norm for ten years. Rover through and through but I'm also a football fan and id much rather going to Ewood Park as a Premier League watching some of the best players in the world on a weekly basis.
  5. We have spent ten years in the championship plodding along at best mid table at worse getting relegated to league 1. Why anyone would want to play in the Championship rather than the Premier League is beyond me. I'd much rather go to Ewood park watching my team play against the likes of De Bruyne and Salah
  6. Things might have changed but I'm sure Johnson Is on record saying he doesn't want to be a first team manager
  7. Very odd if they don't though which agreed odd and Venkys go together. But if the plan was to buy young and sell on for profit, providing BB goes for big money this summer it is the one thing that has actually worked out this last 4 season.10 million profit for Arma and will most likely see the same return for Brererton. Just odd they would commit 15 million on 3 players within 12 months with absolutely no guarantee of a return but then making a decent profit and not going again
  8. We can't know that for certain. They invested 15 million in the first place bringing in Armstrong, Brererton and Gallagher. No way to run a club but they have gone periods of spending for it to stop for a couple of seasons only for it to start again. So I wouldn't be totally shocked if money was available in the summer
  9. We need to seriously improve and totally agree things look bleak at the minute but all the other side's in contention are inconsistent.Like we all would have thought that Boro would have won at home at Hull but they lost. It's only really Forest who are being consistent at the moment. Good Friday and Easter Monday are huge. Luton v Forest Bournemouth v Boro on the Friday Boro v Huddersfield on the monday.
  10. You are on here everyday you will have seen who posted about our cat 1 status. Mercer was one of the people who posted about us sounding out other managers he hardly has a reliable track record does he?
  11. Definitely think Pulis will have an interest if the managers job becomes available. He was praising our owners for the time they have given Mowbray, and stating how lucky Tony has been that the owners had the patience to let him build. Really hope he isn't our next manager
  12. Just because a poster hears something it doesn't make it true. In January a poster heard Rothwell was going to Burnley. Last week a poster heard that we were giving up are Cat 1 status. Both turned out to be untrue, I'm not doubting they are only posting what they have heard but you can't say for a fact that Rovers were sounding out other managers last season
  13. Awful today.Rothwell should be out of the starting 11 next week, going through the motions
  14. Don't worry the agency have it covered. Welcome Tony Pulis
  15. Source?Joke if it is true
  16. Carter signed a 4 year deal earlier this season
  17. Money spent is no excuse for Mowbray continuing to play players out of position and not picking the correct team.Jones at Luton with a squad value a lot less than ours has them in third. Huddersfield similar. Our collapse since January embarrassing and TM and his stubborn ways is a big part of it. Not sure why you defend him so much with the amount of digs he has given our own supporters and putting the club down.
  18. Exactly , Dolan would have been buzzing after his goal for England midweek, I can see no logic as to why he wasn't brought on or even start the game
  19. Or Chile were desperate and played him before he was ready. Any player is going to want to play in the circumstances It's a tough one we do need him asap but if he isn't to start personally I wouldn't be too harsh on Mowbray as the guy has been out for weeks, Chile didn't think him fit enough for the Brazil match and has had a lot of travelling, sportsman or not it affects you.
  20. He had to go to Chile we had no choice in the matter refusal would have led to a ban for Brererton anyway and he wouldn't have been available to start tomorrow
  21. No I think Rothwells attributes are better suited to playing further forward, but the player himself thinks himself as an 8 and wants to play further back. Up until last/this season the majority of his appearances where further forward and his stats in terms of goals and assists and end product in general are worse than they are playing further back . 7 assists isn't that impressive but he got less than half that over a full season playing further forward.
  22. It's more impressive than when he was playing further forward. He didn't score or assist when playing up there. Like I said his attributes should lend themselves to playing further forward but Rothwell see's himself as an 8 and wants to be playing in the centre of the park
  23. Rothwell has played alongside Travis all season. His attributes should lend to playing further forward and although he has been poor since December, he was having his most productive season in terms of assists and goals playing further back. Previous seasons when playing further forward his end end product was nearly non existent
  24. It's a farce we are in this situation but the owners must have some interest in what has been going on this season or Rothwell would have been sold like the manager wanted
  25. Don't know if mentioned elsewhere and know he isn't an academy graduate but Dolan scored off the bench in a 3-0 win for England under-20
