I might be wrong but think he was a few years older than Danns, maybe 21+ and that makes a big difference.

Staggering this one, surely this one had to be the done. Only thing I can think is that they thought he would be the back up option but now they haven’t found anyone else and the back up has moved on.

Danns surely can’t be on more than £10k, he’s a kid and even at elite clubs they not paying academy kids more than that. If we had an interest, I just don’t see how we can have failed on this one, makes no sense whatsoever, you would think it would have been the perfect loan for all concerned 🙈

I can’t believe that we can’t even land Danns, we should be considered the perfect fit given track record and location.

There is just no logic to that, a club with a chance of play offs and a stable, mid table team can’t afford a £300k wage gamble. They can afford but they choose not to, charlatans !

I would be surprised if Sunderland was deemed a better loan for Danns by his club or the player. He will play regularly at Rovers and can commute daily without any issue and it is a path well worn by Morton, Elliott and Beck. I doubt Liverpool will be too concerned about size of a loan fee or wage contribution, they can afford to just want the best development opportunity available.

We have looked at our best and picked best results up with Pickering playing behind Beck. Results went south when we lost Travis & Pickering and then conceded injury time winner at Millwall.

Yep, that defeat to Coventry was a real bitter blow, they are now ripping it up and a good a chance of any of making the play offs.
